Burlington Factory tends to always be busy no matter what time of day you want to come to the mall. I recommend coming here first thing in the morning when they open. I enjoy coming here and browsing with my girlfriend; whether if it's for gifts, home decor, or clothes for work. This location has so many items marked down and great deals. You can spend hours in here, looking at stuff. I found some cool sweat pants for my niece and some shirts for me, for a few bucks... Pumanti at the Sawgrass Mall Sunrise, FL location is beyond rude as a person, forget a manager. She has no clue what a response from mgmt should look like. Wanted clothes by the dressing room always get taken away while trying on other clothes. Even after telling the attendant, and organizer/employee close by, the clothes I picked out were still taken after shopping for them for over an hour. I asked how to accomplish trying on more clothes (no more than 6 at a time) and leaving behind others that I want without them being taken, not one employee could give me a solution, its an impossible task. Terrible customer service. And when I called still no solution but at least she apologized unlike Pumanti who could literally care less. read more

Do NOT come here! This store has prices no better than any other Burlington coat factory, but has lines to end time! This store is in an outlet mall, so you'd expect bargains. Not so! At least nothing more than at stand alone Burlington's, and stand alones have manageable lines. I have been in line for about an hour. This place has four registers open (out of a possible 14). The other set of cashiers at other end of store had two open with a similar line. When I did get up to the register, the only thing the cashier said to me was, "This is it?" I had four items. When I said yes, she continued by stating "I wouldn't have waited in that line for just this". I commented that she had a good point and maybe they should open an express lane/cashier. HUGE location with tons of merchandise and great prices. They have everything you can imagine and it would be hard not to find something you want to leave with. The biggest issue is the registers here. They are only on one side of the store, despite having two entrances (one at the mall entrance, the other to the outside). They do have one line that leads to all the register bays, which is nice, but it still took a long time to check out. We found a couple things for the baby so we ended up in the line. I should honestly have asked the husband to wait in line and I'd meet him, but we didn't think that far ahead. It took about 20 minutes to get through the line and it wasn't a peek time, nor close to a holiday. Overall: B- Could use more register bays open at both entrances, but has a ton of stuff to choose from throughout. read more

If you're a sneakerhead you already know that Burlington is sometime the hidden gem to all your treasure hunts. But if you live in south Florida and want to go snowboarding you should probably stop at this specific location as well. While other locations have everything but coats (dresses, jeans, sandals, special water) kinda like a Ross with different layout. This one actually has aisles of heavy winter coats for a fraction of the cost. The North Face, Columbia, Alpine Design, Spyder, and even found a few Roxy jackets. Serious waterproof insulated perfect jackets for a fraction of the price. Service was non existence. There was so many people that seemed like they dropped in straight from a flight or were headed to the airport with luggage. But there were no services workers outside of the entrance and registers. Still four stars for me because everything was mostly organized so I really didn't need any help. read more

You can get a bargain here but pack your patience. This store is huge. I was tired just from walking through the parking lot and fighting my way through the mall never mind exploring the miles and miles of racks here. I needed a coat and this was the first place that came to mind even though they have dropped the Coat from their name and are now just called Burlington. They had racks upon racks of coats and all were reasonably priced. One I liked was marked down to $60 from $200. I ended up getting two coats for less than what one retailed at. One annoying thing about this store is there aren't any mirrors anywhere. I finally ended up using the one in housewares where I found other customers who had the same idea. It turns out finding what I wanted was the easy part. Paying was a whole different story. I have not waited in a line that long since Disney World. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that there were 50 people ahead of me in line. I know because I had plenty of time to count them. After being constantly rammed by the woman's cart behind me I finally made it to the promise land and was able to check out. I asked my cashier if the store is always so crowded and she assured me that it is. I appreciate the bargain but it's going to be awhile before I find the strength to go through that again. read more

I did find a couple of clearance items under $10 worth standing in a 10 min line to buy. Just remember, the clientele here can be frustrating because of the lack of understanding of the store process. At the cashier line, an efficient screen shows the next shopper which register to checkout. Many of these shoppers aren't even aware of this because the TV screen is darken when no cashier number is shown. Yes, very frustrating at times. Holy crap, this is the biggest Burlington I think I have ever seen! We arrived early before a Panthers hockey game and since the mall was across the street from the arena, decided to kill some time browsing. I only had about 10 minutes to check out this store but it is so massive, I didn't even make it all the way to the back! This is your standard-issue Burlington, so think off-brands, a few diamonds in the rough, affordable prices, and shelves / racks that look like a hurricane just blew through. Yes, it's just as messy as its smaller counterparts, but the inventory is outrageous! I have never seen so much stuff. The store is massive and sprawling, and if you're a dig-through-the-racks-rummaging type of bargain hunter, this will be like the holy grail. Ok, this is a 3 1/2 star review, bur I rounded up. The clothing and shoe area get a 2 star, but the accessories and homeware get a 5. They sell the pretties, trendiest fashion jewelry so cheap!! And their decor is pretty cool. I can't even deal with their clothes. This store is at the Sawgrass Mall and it is busy! Some areas are messier than others, but this was the only store I visited that afternoon that had people on the floor putting things to rights. I actually like this Burlington. It has amazing purses and a large, organized section for every department. I tend to find more name brand things here than any other Burlington. Yes it's always packed with tourists, but I have personally seen a $3-$4 dollar less for items I would find a TJ Max or Adidas store or Marshall's. Definitely worth coming to check out what all the fuss is about. 1. They have their own parking garage and entrance. So if you want to come in and out without all the hassle of "Sawgrass" you have a way. 2. There's a cash register in the back corner. Everyone for some reason bunches up in the front ones, not knowing that there are registers near the back that gets you in and out. 3. You cannot take their carts out of the store. Recently my family visited Burlington Coat Factory 12801 West Sunrise Blvd, Sunrise Florida. We travel within the U.S. year round and it was time to update our winter wardrobe, so we stopped by Burlington. The store was neat, clean and organized. While shopping, there were a few friendly associates who assisted us and the check out line was pretty fast. But I'm writing this review because I was most impressed with associate Valeria Ruiz, I believe she is asset protection. She was kind and very professional, she really stood out. I don't like to come here much because of all the tourists w/ their large suitcases. I had to bide time, so I browsed through and noticed the line wrapped around at checkout! I figured that by the time I was ready to pay, it would die down. I found some super cute summer dresses and jumpsuits, headed to the fitting rooms but was told they're still CLOSED!! So, I then went looking for a mirror and found three ladies undressing in the back of the store. "Pardon me--I saw nothing!" I was so embarrassed. I put all the clothes back and went to browse the shoes. All of a sudden, this male associate comes over and asks, "Are these yours?" He pointed to a bunch of shoes and clothes that people had thrown all over the place. "C'mon, you're kidding, right!" Nope, he was serious because then I went to sit down to try a pair and he followed me and told me I couldn't sit there. "Well, where am I supposed to sit to try these on?" "Sorry ma'am, those chairs aren't for the customers to sit in." I wonder if he scolded the ladies in the back too? Anyway, I soon left. I wasn't mad--I only realized that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. So I went to do something I like more than shopping--I went to eat!! Came here on our mission to find some holiday gifts. Forgot how big this store was, so we were a little worried that we were going to get stuck looking through mountains of items before we found what we wanted to purchase. Everything was extremely organized and we managed to find everything that we needed and were looking for. Everything was labeled and easy to find for us, so shopping was a lot smoother than our past visits here. The staff was nice and you would see them picking up and cleaning. During the situation that we are in Burlington is making sure all staff and customers are wearing their masks at all times. They even provided stations with hand sanitizers for customers to use. Definitely doing all they can to keep their staff and customers safe and make our shopping easier. read more

Huge store, biggest Burlington I have ever seen. Hit or miss, as with any discount store. If you go early, lines are non existent, which is wonderful. They sanitize each register after checkout. Clear, plastic gaurd and table in front of each register for social distancing, as well as tape on the floor for spacing. When looking in the clearance section (clothing, home goods), check for damages. I have seen various items with sale tags that have small to significant damages (ranging from dirt stains to small holes, to significant tears, missing or broken parts). I do not recommend purchasing clothing here. I have visited a few more times to gauge consistency. The store does not seem to have a high regard for cleanliness or customer service. Too often, customers are ignored on the sales floor. The cashiers are usually friendly, however. I personally like to look for home care items that are priced less than major retailers, such as those felt pads that go under furniture and double sided shower curtain hooks. Limited furniture and home goods items, possibly due to shipment issues with the pandemic? Regardless, shopping here takes time to search and scan for damages. Burlington Coat Factory does carries a lot of coats! Wool, Leather, Down Jacket, Trench Coat, Ski Jacket, Full length, Short... a lot of them are designer brands too. Style wise they do looks a little dated... but if you are looking for some classic style, you will find quite a selections. Aside from coat, there are accessories, shoes and clothes..the shoes department is always a mess.. so be patient if you want to look for a bargain or something worth buying. read more

Seems like staff isn't interested in helping customers - they are hard to find, and then when you finally find someone and ask a question they barely open their mouth to answer apparently not caring if you can or can not find what you asked for. Sizes are mixed, so when you finally start thinking you found something it turns out, it's wrong size. Enormous line at the registers while only 3 were open, and it was moving so slow. About 15-16 people were in front of me, and as much behind me, so I decided to move out of the line, leave the cart and go out. I really couldn't afford loosing time after standing for 10 minutes without moving. This was the first time I came to Burlington in Sawgrass, and seems like it will be the last. I usually have much more understanding and patience when it comes to big outlet type of stores, but I really got negative impression from the moment I stepped in the store, till the moment I went out of it. read more

Sawgrass mall is pretty slow right now on a beautiful day and 12 in the afternoon. So it would be understandable that they had seven registers open out of 25. What is not understandable and acceptable is the massive line in this store due to 2 Associate's talking to each other and ignoring the guest which lengthened the wait and transaction. And what made it worse, it appeared to be the complex supervisor chatting along with them and never once acknowledged that I was standing there waiting to pay for my items that had already waited 6 minutes in line for... If you are local go to one near your house, if you are a tourist and you came here be aware that TJ Maxx line moves much faster. read more

I grew up with Burlington Coat Factory stores, but never went in them much. I recently started browsing the Burlington at Sawgrass Mills. First off, this store is HUGE and can be a bit overwhelming, much like the mall that it is located in. The store offers lots of brand name labels for inexpensive prices. I'm a huge fan of Marshalls, but I think you can pick up better bargains at Burlington. I was finishing up some holiday shopping and stumbled upon 50% off Christmas items. I was able to get a nice Yankee Candle gift set for $10 with the discount. In the past, I have also done well in the pet department, the store offers many nicely discounted items for our furry friends. I am impressed by the purse and accessory section, it's very large. If you need luggage, this is an awesome spot to pick up something good as they have a ton of choices to meet your travel needs. I recommend checking Burlington out, but go in with an agenda as the store is SO large! The last two times I checked out, the interactions with the cashiers were very pleasant. read more

This Burlington location is favorite in the South Florida area because of its clean layout and impressive variety. I found plenty of cute items here which prove this place isn't only meant for coat shopping. I ended up scoring a pair of Badgley Mischka wedges for only $22.00 and they were on the higher end of the luxury totem pole. The jeans section could use a little help but they have plenty of cool dresses and blouses that make up for it. Other locations are usually messy but I found everything here very neat and organized despite the amount of people in the store shopping. This is one of the largest malls in South Florida so it attracts thousands of shoppers daily which keeps the inventory revolving at a higher speed than other locations. read more

So for baby items, parents, his is a definite go to place! There was an item we saw for $399 at buy baby buy that was $169 there...um can you say huge difference? Same for playpen--much better quality and much cheaper! Name brand kids clothes if you like from Jordan, to Nike, to Polo just for a few. They had baby Jordan booties and the variety is great. On the downside, I would say the clothing to me is not usually as up to date as other places like Marshall's etc. In addition, they need carts that roll properly, I had two carts that were noisy.
