Does every Burlington close their fitting rooms two hours before closing ? left With nothing because I couldn't try on.

I came in to look for a pair of pj's. I asked the loss prevention officer at the front where they are located and she kindly pointed to the back of the store, to the right. I know that Fall is coming and that usually means pumpkin spice lattes and lots of pumpkin decor. What I didn't expect to find was Halloween pajama sets! They are cute and all but I didn't see myself wearing them. The checkout area had a couple of people in line and one customer was being waited on. There was only one cashier. Finally another one came but only as the line was growing. Yes, the store was on the messy side, but some of that is due to inconsiderate customers. I can't imagine how tiresome it would be to "pick up" after the customers and their kiddos just do whatever they want and leave things wherever. I feel bad for the workers and think they are doing the best they can given some of the clientele that shops there. I watched some of these shoppers here today in disgust. read more

Burilington is one of those stores where you can walk into a complete cluster. Clothes strewn all over the floor from folks not re-hanging items. Toys opened and played with from loser parents not caring what their child does. Workers stressed from massivly long lines of the people who perpetrated the the behaviors above. I personally question whether the clothing is first run or cleaned up used stuff. Yes it can be a challenging place to shop. However, days like yesterday occur. You walk in and Covid safety is available(the packs of masks had not been stolen yet). The store was clean and stocked. Staff was friendly and efficient. We went to buy toys for Angel Tree. My foxy wife & daughter love some Angel Tree kids. I suggested we go somewhere else for toys, but my wife insisted that before Thanksgiving Burlington would have great toys at low prices. I was skeptical but over the years I have realized my wife knows what she is doing. Plus a big box store is across the street on the outside chance we needed it. Our Angels are 2,4 & 5. The toy selection for that age group was fantastic!!.(and they where all unopened) your only suppose to spend $25 per Angel. Now we all know that husbands/fathers are not the greatest shoppers on the planet. We tend to walk in pick something within 7 to 9 minutes , pay and walk out, head to the snowball stand, ice cream pallor or coffee shop.(unless buying tools, jewelry, firearms or vehicles) There are exceptions to the above statement. Angel Tree is one of them. I am on point when the woman show and ask my opinion on the gifts(careful to always let them make the final decision), never in a hurry and to heck with the $25 dollar limit. All kids are getting 3 gifts or ginormous playsets with a trillion figurines and coolness. Well Burlington was a great choice for this as the gifts where up to date, inexpensive and sure to bring alot of joy to our Angels. Thanks Burlington!!!! read more

I came to meet a friend because she was looking for something to wear to an event and I don't particularly come to this store because of what I'm about to say, which in a way isn't the stores fault but then again, it is. The store is not well kept up, there are always clothes on the floor and staff doesn't speak, in the event I actually see someone working that isn't at a register. Children kept running around and tearing up stuff and even though it is the parents that need to discipline their children a manager should have been walking the floor and speaking to parents directly because making comments over the loud speaker did not work. Pricing was good and I ended up finding a blouse and some gluten free snacks. Also, the dressing room would be better if it was placed in the back to seal up that empty space on the back wall. It'd make it more appealing and better to space isles for clothing. read more

I have to vent... I literally just left the store. I was trying to buy this Wahl battery operated clippers among other things. But they wouldn't sell it to me because it was missing some parts. I asked if I could get a discount and they said "NO" we don't sell items with missing parts. HOWEVER! While I browsing isles I stumbled upon their clearance section that has all kinds of missing parts, broken or chipped of pieces. And they couldn't even give me a discount on some small $9.99 clippers. You'd think they would just want to sell it to get it out of the store. I honestly think she was profiling me because I was wearing a baseball cap. Making me look "suspicious!" Which is total crap considering I come here often. I hope that the health department gets wind of their mold issue in the back of the store. I don't see how employees or even customers can shop here without being able to breath. It's a very obvious issue. My suggestion... got to another Burlington. I'm sure you'll have a better experience then I did. read more

Long lines. The whole store smells. Rude employees. This one lady in the fitting room was yelling at me to not bring shoes and wallets in the fitting room with me. This is after another employee saw what I was holding and said I can go into the fitting room. It's not hard to use a normal tone when speaking to customers. At the checkout another employee didn't remove the security tag and the door did not beep when I left. So I had to take extra time to go back and have it removed when they could've done their job correctly in the first place. First and last time I visit this Burlington. read more

At Plano, TX Burlington I found a great shirt and tie at a great price. Alley helped me and made it a great shopping experience.

This store was horrible. Bathrooms smelled of sewage issues really bad! The shelves were all about half empty. They sure have changed since the last time I was there. And by the way, the barely carry coats or even light jackets at all. Extremely disappointing. This particular store is in need of a new Manager! read more

Came to look for school uniforms and the place was a mess. Ther are lots of deals to be had as long as your down to dig. This is not a bad thing and lots of selection for everyone and shoes accesories. Just bring patience and im sure you will find a good deal can be had. read more

I feel like Burlington is very underrated. This was my first visit, and I was pretty impressed. While the store may look like it carries outdated stuff, they actually carry a variety of items that are up to date. The clothes can be hit or miss on style, but the shoes here looked pretty nice, I saw some Steve Madden heels and Michael Kors sandals here for a pretty decent price. They carry everything from baby products to luggage. I think I'll come back for the luggage because they were pretty cute. I've been to the BCF in Dallas (just a little south of 635 at Web Chapel) a few times and have found some great deals. It is also well lit, merchandised, and relatively clean for a discount type store. I assumed that the Richardson BCF would be the same. WRONG. It was horrible. Bad lighting. Dirty and poorly merchandised (call me a snob, i guess, but It's nice to have sizes indicated on your racks!) A staff that would rather talk to each other and/or text than even look at you. Which to be fair I can understand based on the people shopping with me. Screaming kids running amok x10. I have kids myself. So I get that they are bored by shopping. Will mess around a bit. But this was wheels off, running, screaming, pulling clothes off racks, using racks for weapons, while their parents ignored them looking for clothes. read more

The store number is 351. I tried to return a kettle after 6 days from using it it was not working as when u pour hlthe hot water the steam burns your hand so i tried to return it with the receipt but they refused to take it as they mentioned it was used and they cannot resell it again. I mentioned that i am not satisfied with it and i have the receipt they insisted on not returning it. I told Kindyl at the checkout that I want to talk to the manager she mentioned he is in a conference call and can not come to meet me and when i told her i want his name to report this online she said his name is Jason and said that she dont know hos last name I am very disappointed and i am not satisfied. I truly hope that corporate management reads this review. The quality of their restrooms is PISS-POOR. Literally! There's piss everywhere! I felt like I needed to wipe my feet before I left the restroom but there were no mats. I've seen better restrooms at gas stations along the I-45. read more

The store has been like a dozen other things before it was BCF so I can understand why it looks so run down. But I don't understand how you can call yourself a coat factory when you don't have any coats. Might as well rename this location "The void factory" the only thing they had were suit sport coats. Loved the store compared to the one in Plano up north. The new store manager seem to have improved things and they have nice friendly staff. Things are neatly arranged and I don't have to walk a lot to get to the various areas within the store. Lines weren't long either and overall great experience. read more

This store was minimal in merchandise in every area of clothing. Don't waste your time if you are looking for just about anything specific. If by chance you do spend some time rummaging, thinking you may find a good deal, PLEASE BE SURE TO GO TO THE RESTROOM BEFORE YOU VISIT THIS LOCATION. The ladies room was absolutely deplorable. I'll bet the employees take a break and use the facilities at the nearest fast food chain. Do you have a job posting for a building maintenance/janitor that has not been filled for an unusually long time? Maybe someone should be contact the city health department. I was purchasing a home and staying with friends so during this time I was purchasing items for my home and thought, layaway would be a good idea. This way I don't have to clutter my friends home....to the point I went to BCF on Plano rd in Richardson and never using layaway before I asked the customer service clerk how it works. The rep proceeds to inform me that I am required to put a $5.00 non refundable fee down plus 20%. I had to gain the items from layaway within 60days or all is lost. No problem, seems reasonable.This is all I was informed of, no sign to read and no verbal information about the return policy. I put my items in layaway on 8/29, paid my $5.00 fee put down my 20%. I then retrieved my items on 9/22. I decided I did not want/need one of the purchased items and decided to return it on 9/27. I am at the return/customer service counter with items not worn/used tags still attached in the box accompanied by a receipt only to be told that all layaways are granted store credit/BCF gift cards only. I am livid at the idea of not being able to have my money refunded to me after I paid a $5.00 dollar layaway fee and paid 100% for my items only to be told my refund would only come in the form of a store credit. Here is what gets me, BCF has a refund policy. Bring the item back with in 30 days, not worn, not used, with tags still attached and a valid receipt you can get YOUR money back. Then they have the balls to have a layaway policy that requires you to pay a non-refundable fee and you still pay 100% for the items and yet you can not get your money back. Do not waste your time or money in BCF at any location. Shopping at places where you as a consumer cannot get YOUR money back is not a place to shop. read more
