Target February 2, 2026…read more 3 stars This Target opened in October 2023 and features a very different layout compared to most other locations. Unfortunately, the design doesn't work very well. Right when you enter, Target Optical is immediately to the left, which feels like an odd placement for something that prominent. After that comes School & Office supplies, followed by Toys as the second department on the left -- a strange flow that feels unintuitive. Electronics is pushed all the way to the back left corner, which is not where most shoppers would expect it. For a newer and larger store, the Toy department is surprisingly small. The collectible section near Electronics (NECA, McFarlane, etc.) was especially disappointing, with very limited selection compared to most Targets. One of the biggest issues is how cramped the aisles are. There's barely enough room for two carts to pass comfortably, which makes shopping feel tight and awkward throughout the store. The exterior design is also unusual. It almost looks like two separate Targets merged into one building, with entrances far on the left and right instead of a more central layout. It's visually confusing and doesn't feel cohesive. There are a few nice touches. The cart return areas have large, well-lit "Thank You" arch signs, which are easy to spot and helpful. However, checkout capacity feels lacking -- despite having many self-checkout kiosks, there are only a handful of traditional registers for a store of this size. Bathroom placement is also inconvenient. They're located along the front wall near the right entrance, next to Customer Service and Starbucks, which feels cramped and awkward. The Starbucks has no seating and seems squeezed into the space rather than intentionally designed. Overall, it's interesting to see Target experimenting with a new store concept, but the execution misses the mark. Cramped aisles, small departments, and an awkward layout make this one of my least favorite Target locations. Value same as any other Target. One cookie looks like the other nothing unique from one store value to the next

She had the biggest smile and was very polite even though it was the end of the store hours. She deserves a medal and a bonus because of her customer service. Not everyone in retail has good and long lasting customer service but she did. Props to her, keep it up girl.

There was one cashier and then a second came along and called us to their register. My single item was scanned and I inserted my card to pay. This should've been so simple. The pin pad failed and stalled with no error. The cashier tried to figure it out but couldn't so I said I would just pay cash. The cashier switched the system to cash and again it stalled and wouldn't let me pay. Cashier called the supervisor over to help and meanwhile all 5 people behind me were being helped in a timely manner and they were all getting out the door before me. Supervisor couldn't fix the system and instead of sending me to a working cashier he kept me at the register while he tried to figure it out. I think what upset me most was that good customer service skills would send the customer to a working register to be helped timely. That didn't happen and I seriously only had one item to purchase. I ended up leaving without purchasing anything after the 5th person that was behind me was almost done with their purchase and I was still hanging out with the crew trying to fix the register for my one item.

What I didn't enjoy about their service, when checking out, was being pressured about applying for their credit card. When I said no thank you, she just kept going on about it. Beware of their dishes, the glaze on a lot of the white ones causes gray scratches when used with silverware. I was on the hunt for one EXACT candle, and they had it. I couldn't believe I found it. I also got some fantastic marble pieces and a few other candles. With some of these prices, you'll make out like a bandit. The girl at the cash register was the most darling thing I've ever met at closing time on a Saturday night. I appreciated her courtesy and friendly banter more than 99% of people who would have acted like we were bringing the plague with us. This is the ultimate place for gifts and stocking stuffers- I never leave empty-handed!!
