This morning, I witnessed one of the known scalpers giving the manager Needoh items. Shortly afterward, when I asked about the toys, I was told they were completely sold out. After I left the store empty-handed, I called the store and was informed that more had been put out shortly after I had left. When I returned, the manager asked me what kind of car I was driving, which I didn't feel was relevant to my shopping experience. She then stood and watched me while I was checking out, making me feel uncomfortable and singled out. It's disappointing to feel like regular customers are treated differently while scalpers appear to receive preferential treatment. As a parent simply trying to purchase these toys for my children, I expect to be treated with the same respect as any other customer.

People are lined down the aisle way waiting to check out in the only open check out lane. There are boxes all over the place, racks are completely messy, honestly looks like the end of Black Friday in here. Employees are just wondering around looking like they're tidying up when they should be opening more check out lanes. I don't know if they don't pay people enough to get workers, but this is ridiculous.

The new refrigerated sections are bright, well lit, and make it easy to find what you're looking for. The entire store feels clean and well stocked. The biggest strength here is the staff. Team members are consistently friendly and helpful, especially in the self-checkout area. The meat department is well stocked, and the expanded seafood section is a noticeable upgrade with a much better selection than before. Prices are competitive, and there are always plenty of sale items throughout the store. The only things keeping this from five stars are the produce department, where leafy greens can sometimes look a bit wilted, and a checkout system that can occasionally be annoying. Overall, a clean, well-run store that has benefited greatly from the remodel.

We used be able to get 2 pounds of sausage from the restaurant in Orlando. They won't do it anymore. So, we are here visiting family and knew Meijer's sells it. They one upped themselves. The sausage comes with sage. We bought our biscuits and gravy ingredients only to see Gino's East Pizza. I love Chicago Style Pizza so we added that to the cart. As a joke we also bought Connie's Pizza as that is the name of one of our family members. Looking forward to breakfast and lunch. I hope TSA leaves my luggage alone and allows me to take my little prizes back home with me.

I'm from North AL and we have to drive 90 minutes north or south to shop at Macy's. MIL and I were always looking for clothing for the grands and found really nice looking outfits at Macy's. She and I both love Bath and Body Works and always made time to pop in there and purchase some favorites. There's nearby restaurants and we always took the grand girls to get their sugar fix at a store in that shares a parking lot with the mall [I don't recall the store name]. The food court could use some work, not many selections and pretty small. Nice little indoor walking track with signs equipped to show me the way I believe it's 1.5 miles. They rebuilt both in the 1980s, as I recall, and it's bright and welcoming, but it's strange that there are no military personnel checking i.d. cards as you enter. Prices are generally good on merchandise but on cameras and electronics, they're often higher than retailers outside the base and it's the same way with the AAFES/NEX catalog. Tax or no tax, sometimes it's difficult to find a deal. Household items, furniture, and appliances are across in the garden center, as is the alcohol. It's good that they added the food court when they re-built the place. The old dark, greasy fast food place wasn't pleasant at all. The commissary used to be incredibly cheap, but with the surcharge, it's fairly expensive, but they have a good deli and the meats are good, also. Add to that the foreign foods section and you'll have reasons to go, but for daily shopping, it's probably cheaper off-base. I'm sure it's about the same wherever you go. Patrick AFB in Cocoa Beach, FL was similar and the NEX in Orlando was a bit higher, but they closed the training facility there so the Navy Exchange was very much a standalone location.
