I love this store and was a frequent customer. The security makes you feel like you are entering a correctional facility. They have retractable stanchions that must be physically retracted by security to allow you to pass through the entrance and into the shopping area. THE LAST TIME I WENT, A WOMAN EMPLOYEE (NOT SECURITY) RAN TO THE STANCHION BELT AND SECURED IT WITH HER FIST AND INSTRUCTED ME TO LOOK UP AT THE CAMERA! I just turned around and spent my money at Marshalls, a much more pleasant experience. Burlington, please do better. We go there to shop, is not the airport customs! read more

Positives: Good shoe selection with a mix of brands for reasonable to low prices, and a great purse selection for reasonable to low prices. I'm a Karl Lagerfeld Paris lover, and they have so many of his purses there. Women's clothing and underwear selections are decent. Negatives: Unfortunately, pretty much everything else. There have been times I've been in the store where I could barely walk through the aisles, since shoes and clothes had been kicked across the floor and left everywhere. Crazy customers happen, I get it, but the employees don't seem too bothered about it. In the figures/collectables/gifts section during the winter, so many empty boxes could be found from people stealing the items inside, which is super frustrating for customers as well as employees. When I handed a few empty boxes I found to a male employee, he just sighed. The employees are hit or miss. Some are very nice, but some seem like they'd rather be anywhere but there. One employee, the woman who works by the dressing rooms, is so lovely and sweet. She made my day the other afternoon with how nice she was to me. Majority of the employees I have encountered speak more Spanish then they do English, which does not affect or bother me since I do speak and understand some Spanish, but for people who struggle with it, customer-employee conversations may be difficult. Just a heads up! Overall, I think the experience here is always very dependent on the crowds, the employees on shift, and how organized the store is. read more

I barely made it in the door before a very rude security guard came toward me in an imposing manner to yell at me for coming in the out door. The in door was blocked by a family with two carts. He was extremely rude. I turned around and left. read more

Always messy, and too many screaming kids that make it feel like you're in a day care program. I find deals sometimes but it's miserably bad waiting in line when there's only 1 or 2 registers open. It makes going here feel like a hassle. read more

The selections seemed unusually sparse for a Burlington Coat Factory store. I found a coat that I could really fall in love with and it was in an area that gave the impression there would be a rack of them in various sizes. This was not the case. In fact, I scoured the store looking and then went to the internet and still no luck. I will be mourning this coat for some time. I was also shopping for jeans and plain t shirts. I didn't do well there either. My final purchase was a pair of black dress socks and a jar of smoked paprika. On the bright side... That's probably the least I've ever spent in a BCF. read more

I went to this store yesterday to get myself and son some new summer clothes. The store was a mess and the employees that work there are very rude. So I made a purchase and brought the clothes home to find out I had to return every single item. Each price tag was punched through the fabric of the clothing not thru the seam. Ridiculous! 12-18-17 I have shopped here since their opening. The prices have risen as everything else. The selections for Half Sized (Both men/women) have decreased tremendously. That was one of the biggest attractions to me . I "was" able to find pretty decent clothes at the size(s) I was looking for. Sadly, not anymore!. read more

Super rude manager at this location. It's 9:45pm, and she looks at me and says "we close at 10, people!!!" Super angrily, as if she had somewhere to be. Then I walked by here again, she was speaking to another employee, and he says "when do we leave for the night?" Once again she looks directly at me and says "it depends on these customers" rolling her eyes. You don't close until 10, stop. read more

Very neat clean store! My first time here and not my last. The shoe dept was sparse and it was hard to try on a pair if boots that were tied together with some type of anti theft device. Don't shop here. I bought my son sneakers on 2/21/19. He wore them and the velcro strap broke. I know there is a 30 day return policy. So I was sure to bring the sneakers back before the 30 days were over with the receipt. The cashier processed my return and said I would be getting store credit back. I asked her why and she did know just that the computer processed it like that. She asked another person and she assumed that I paid with a sore credit or a gift card which I did not and infact I paid with my debit card. She told me that the manager would say the same thing and I'd only get a gift card back. I still asked to talk to a manager the manager accused of me yelling at the staff which she took offense by and by the way, I did not yell at the staff I told her I was frustrated the situation and with what the computer said. She also insisted that the 30 day return policy was actually a 28 day return policy because it is one month or 4 weeks not 30 days and she told me that I would be getting store credit as well. I asked for the corporate number and that's when she became serious about my transaction and was able to give me the full refund that I deserved. I can honestly say that I will never shop at Burlington again because of the way that I was treated. read more
