I learned about this place from a colleague and was completely unprepared the first time I went. I went on a Saturday morning and the line was already about 20+ people long when I arrived. We waited for about two hours, but it was well worth it. The prices are unbelievable. Surprisingly there were no unbearable odors and the staff was pretty fast. I realized what took so long is customers not having an idea of what they wanted and those who also wanted to bargain. The first two times I went I spent about $100 total. Each time the meat lasted our family of three at least three months. We were literally spending a couple of hundred dollars a month at the chain supermarkets. My colleague also has a family of three and she goes every 6 to 7 months. To make your experience better there are a few things you should do. 1) Make sure you have a thick jacket because its very cold and you can be standing inside for some time waiting for others to put in their orders. 2) Have an idea of what meats you want and how much you want. 3) Go on a weekday if you don't want to have to wait in line for hours. If you're someone who likes to have your hand held and your a customer who needs to be coddled through the purchase process, do the rest of us a favor and stay at the local supermarket. This is a fast-paced environment and the staff doesn't have time to stroke your ego as they have so many people to take care of in a short amount of time. read more

I ordered a whole pig I had it cut in half and the head cut off and that took all of five minutes. While I was waiting for my pig I also got some beef ribs. When everything was done someone took my meat to my car and helped me put it in my car. I went here today and had excellent service from the whole crew except this one cashier who was a young man with a beard (I think he goes by Mark?). I quote what he said, "hurry up! This ain't no Walmart!" and proceeded to have a irritared facial expression towards us while we were looking at one piece of meat to add before we go. I understand that it was busy and it can get stressful. Im a nurse and my family are nurses who work at a hospital -- we understand what its like to work under pressure dealing with a lot of work and people. Trust me when I say working in a pandemic is HARD dealing with similar stressors (people and time) but I HAVE NEVER TALKED TO ANYONE WITH SUCH DISRESPECT LIKE THAT AT WORK. We waited an hour. We patiently waited our turn -- thus we were ensuring we didn't forget anything. My family and I felt very very disrespected which is the reason why I gave 2 star rather than a 5 star. My 2 cents? Just don't talk to other people like that. Its for mutual respect. This experience immensely influenced this review. The worst place to go to. Never come here. Specially for Eid holiday. No customer service rude behavior. The owner wife she acts like ur getting free service. I ask her few questions she sent one of her son to bully me. There is no equal service. They take money on the side and let u skip the line. caught him on his mistake he said he is the boss and he makes the rules. It's dirty. They r not clean. They don't have there meats organize. Unsanitary, meat looks good but while waiting in line I saw a worker by the saw in the front cutting the meat without any gloves on then putting them in boxes. Meat is constantly placed on the front scale that has blood from other cuts of meat without wiping or placing paper in between like proper butcher shops do. I actually tried to become social by asking the regulars who are also in-line about this place. So apparently on a Saturday be prepared to wait for about 2-3 hours (depending on the customers inside) I had to leave even though I drove 40 mins to get here. But today. I gave it a try and I was in 7:30a and out by 8am! Let me tell you, if you are a meat lover this is the place to go to! Everything here is fresh! You can have the frozen ones too if you like. I had a budget of just spending $100 but spent way more. As soon as they gave me the price on the fillet mignon and Rib-eye I had to double up! Terrible service!!! One guy pulls a driver to the side and asks for an item so he would not have to wait in line (at least 30 people on line). The individual gives him a story that he just got off a 24 hour shift. The driver helps the guy and takes his payment in front of everyone. I spoke to the owner and the owner says it was a buddy of his (the driver). In the conversation, they did not shake hands nor show any forms of endearment. They obviously were not friends and the driver was acting immorally. The owner did not care. As a disabled combat veteran, i find this to be extremely unfair. I could also wave around my law enforcement badge and ask for a favor; but, I know it would not be fair to everyone else. Even if he did work a 24 hour shift, how many of us have worked that plus more (some under combat situations in 130 degree se weather with 70lbs of body armor).
