I have had some digestive issues recently and they started to clear up immediately with the acupuncture. They're really good here about making the entire experience a great one. The rooms are communal, but you are separated by privacy walls and the beds are heated; they also give you blankets and they keep the lights at a perfect ambience to give your body the healing rest that it needs. It's easy to get a solid hour nap in while the needles do their magic. I love that they have sliding scale, making acupuncture accessible to those who may not be able to afford it otherwise. I highly recommend VCA for anyone who has never had acupuncture or TCM as well as those who have previously had it and are looking for an acupuncturist.

Lindsay really listens to what you say and looks at you as a whole person. She addresses not only the pain but any additional health problems I may be having. Everyone at VT Community Acupuncture is kind and compassionate. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Robert is a surprisingly kind and intelligent practitioner who took care to gather my history and explain to me the treatments he'd be using. This was my first time using acupuncture along with herbal medicines. Personally I found the treatments amazingly effective for pain management, digestive issues and anxiety related to surgical issues. Robert spends half his time working on research studies on the effectiveness of acupuncture for pain management and sports injuries with the integrative team at the University of Vermont. He recently headed a statewide study to measure the efficacy of acupuncture compared to opioid drugs and anti-inflammatory drugs and presented the results are a great lecture at the University of Vermont's Davis Education Center. His goal is to facilitate greater understanding and implementation (including insurance reimbursement) for non-opioid related pain relieve. He is knowledgeable, empathic and curious. Having worked with him for a year now, recommend him highly for anything issue related to pain management and anxiety.
