Robert is a surprisingly kind and intelligent practitioner who took care to gather my history and explain to me the treatments he'd be using. Personally I found the treatments amazingly effective for pain management, digestive issues and anxiety related to surgical issues. Robert spends half his time working on research studies on the effectiveness of acupuncture for pain management and sports injuries with the integrative team at the University of Vermont. He recently headed a statewide study to measure the efficacy of acupuncture compared to opioid drugs and anti-inflammatory drugs and presented the results are a great lecture at the University of Vermont's Davis Education Center. His goal is to facilitate greater understanding and implementation (including insurance reimbursement) for non-opioid related pain relieve. He is knowledgeable, empathic and curious. Having worked with him for a year now, recommend him highly for anything issue related to pain management and anxiety.
