They gave out free massage and acupuncture and met every visitor with both kindness and attentiveness. While working on the development committee for a local non-profit I came up with the idea to involve them in an event and they volunteered their time and services again with compassion and generosity making the event a success. What is most outstanding about this group is the fact that they sincerely care for others, are passionate about what they do, and are truly committed to making the world better by bringing wellness to the people of our community. I hope they are around for years to come because they are a wonderful addition to our city.

As someone who has been in recovery from disabling and life-altering illnesses the last three years, the team at TWC has been CRITICAL to my care. They are weathered practitioners who deeply consider the life of each patient. Corey, the most humble person on the planet, has been a tremendous fortune in my life and has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND her duties to ensure that my recovery is optimal. This place deserves all the praises and more. They are also deeply committed to protecting the dignity of all beings, and actively doing their anti-racist innerwork to ensure that folks from all races and walks of life feel safe in their care.

I have had some digestive issues recently and they started to clear up immediately with the acupuncture. They're really good here about making the entire experience a great one. The rooms are communal, but you are separated by privacy walls and the beds are heated; they also give you blankets and they keep the lights at a perfect ambience to give your body the healing rest that it needs. It's easy to get a solid hour nap in while the needles do their magic. I love that they have sliding scale, making acupuncture accessible to those who may not be able to afford it otherwise. I highly recommend VCA for anyone who has never had acupuncture or TCM as well as those who have previously had it and are looking for an acupuncturist.

Robert is a surprisingly kind and intelligent practitioner who took care to gather my history and explain to me the treatments he'd be using. This was my first time using acupuncture along with herbal medicines. Personally I found the treatments amazingly effective for pain management, digestive issues and anxiety related to surgical issues. Robert spends half his time working on research studies on the effectiveness of acupuncture for pain management and sports injuries with the integrative team at the University of Vermont. He recently headed a statewide study to measure the efficacy of acupuncture compared to opioid drugs and anti-inflammatory drugs and presented the results are a great lecture at the University of Vermont's Davis Education Center. His goal is to facilitate greater understanding and implementation (including insurance reimbursement) for non-opioid related pain relieve. He is knowledgeable, empathic and curious. Having worked with him for a year now, recommend him highly for anything issue related to pain management and anxiety.
