My AC was not blowing cold . B&B said I needed a fan on my outside unit . Tech did move the fan but…read morehe said it was tight. I asked him to check the capacitor, which starts the fan . He said again, the fan was bad and did not check the capacitor. He said , he would order a fan and would take 2-3 days to arrive and Cost would be $390 plus , the $65 service call . I had another company come out and they said capacitor was bad and it's a $25 part !! And they charged me $50 to fix it ! B&B total cost was going to be $455 and I was going to have to purchase a Window A/C unit to get by since it was 90 degrees . I called B&B and asked for a refund for the $65 service call as they misdiagnosed (explained to secretary and she call tech). They said someone must have oiled to get the fan to work and would not refund ! No one oiled fan . The guy simply changed capacitor, I was standing there!! Be real careful with these folks and certainly get a second estimate.

Dean came that afternoon, looked the job over, gave me a fair price, began work the next week. He covered my floors, and stairs, cleaned up before he left. Noticed several other issues I had while he was here, one a light in basement, and the other water faucet leaking, he did not try to add things to run the bill up, which I appreciated. The basement was redone sue to a leak less than a year ago, so I was very thankful he saw, told me, and took care of issues that should have been done before. Our whole-home filter was clogged with mud and they eventually bypassed it to feed our lines with dirty water. I'm not a plumber, but I do believe a thorough flush would have prevented this. Was told the sediment may even damage our appliances by one of his people. Their employees also trampled mud throughout our utility room and left our carpet wet without even an apology. Also, after noticing some work had been done that was not completed prior, we realized their employees had entered our home without our knowledge and without knocking.
