We felt confident as we walked through homes and he pointed out things we never would have noticed. He was also very patient with us when we had no idea what we were doing -- as first time homebuyers, this was very important to us. A lot of questions were asked and Evan never gave the impression that he was annoyed or sick of us (haha). Definitely would recommend if you're looking to buy or sell a home in the greater Hartford area!

Given current market conditions and uncertainty caused by the pandemic, we weren't sure what the home buying process would look like but thank goodness we had Evan on our side. We couldn't have asked for a better agent. He made the home buying process as smooth as possible with zero hiccups. Evan is very professional, knowledgeable, thorough and very responsive. He answered every single question we had, and then some. He is genuinely caring and always advocated with our best interest at heart. He has great connections with local home contractors, which have come in very handy, especially for first-time homebuyers like us. I highly recommend Evan and the Broder Group team to anyone looking to buy a house. I would definitely work with Evan again!

He did his due diligence and offered a price that was fair given the condition of the house. He listened and responded when I had concerns. Russ helped me by purchasing my mom's house in rough condition (with many contents), but he helped me even more by reminding me what it feels like to interact with someone who has integrity. If you want a down to earth, regular guy who knows his stuff, select Closing Management to take care of your closing needs. If you want a stuffy, fancy lawyer in a 3 piece suit then go elsewhere. I can't say enough good things about Closing Management. The fees were cheaper than several other offices we spoke with and our real estate agent highly recommended them because she had used them for her personal closings. Our bank jerked around our closing date with 3 days to spare and Closing Management was able to still have everything ready to go and things went smoothly.

Michele also handled our prior transaction 23 yrs ago. Both closings executed with skill and the utmost professionalism and it is a pleasure to act as a reference for this superb firm. Throughout the process they kept us informed of the status of the closing, any pending issues with our buyer and they even handled all negotiations with our vendors and especially our bankers and made sure all notes were paid off and covered through this transaction. We left CT and moved to CO and we did not even need to be at the closing. Closing Management took care of every issue and are really a delight to do business with. We highly recommend them to anyone doing real estate transactions in CT. If only they could handle the Governor and the Legislature with such expertise, we probably would not have left. But then again with a 1.7 billion hole, not even Closing Management can fix CT.

I've been recommending Julie Corrado as a realtor over the past 10+ years to clients, friends, and…read morefamily members planning on selling or buying a home. Julie has a team of experts and licensed contractors that she works with closely who has always been a go-to for improvements made within my house until I sold recently. I have attended several of Julie's home buying and selling preparation seminars where she discusses "getting your home ready for a sale" and has benefitted highly from these sessions. I slowly improved the home that would produce the greatest return on investments to a potential buyer. This past Fall, I decided to sell my home after 13 years, and Julie sent over her staging team to make affordable recommendations and yield the best results. The house was listed in the Winter and was sold in less than 3 days. Working with Julie was like a partnership and a comfortable process. She educated me every step of the process and allowed me to make the decisions that positioned me to sell the home for $50K over what the last home sold on my street a few months prior. My home sold for a record high compared to other houses on the same street. I never felt the need to compromise or felt forced into settling - the offers were multiple. The Corrado Team and Julie's especially have developed an art and science about the process of selling a home effectively. I have great pride and feel a sense of comfort sending any future home buyers or sellers to her. I never have to follow through because her process is consistent, and the experience is long-term.

I bought my first house with Marsha as my realtor and she took such excellent pride in helping me check every single box and make sure I was protected during the process. Her experience and her passion for helping first time home buyers shined and we bought a beautiful home with virtually no stress. Even when things came up it was so amazing to have someone who answered any and all questions and operated with the heart of a teacher, never making me feel stupid for not knowing an answer. Fast forward a few years later and I had a new real estate journey: renting my home. I called Marsha. She guided me and make sure I was protected with leases that covered evrything and found me the BEST tenants who have been in my apartment for 3 years and who we never want to leave. We love them. Fast forward a few years later, we ended up selling a second property (never sold a house before) and again, Marsha guided us with empathy, understanding, superb knowledge and protected us in every corner to make sure we got the best deal that wouldn't fall through. Fast forward a few years later, we renovated our first floor and needed advice on what would truly add value to our home. We called Marsha. She spent time helping us make upgrades that were worth it so we can continue attracting the best tenants. Fast forward to today: We are moving again and found a wonderful place. A few bumps in the road happened and Marsha has yet again gone above and beyond to make sure we are protected, informed and have all of our bases covered for the next move. I can't say enough good things about her. After so many years we have met her family and her daughter Farrah was even the officiant at my wedding. She literally married Steve and I in our PJS at home with our puppies licking her face. I could cry thinking about the blessing of knowing Marsha Penna. Side note: I remember one day I was just thanking her for all of her support and help and she told me she loves first time home buyers because nobody likes dealing with them, but to her she loves it not only to help them make this first huge step, but because she can be with them on their journey for the next house and the next house and the next house. Well, her strategy is working and it could not have benefited us more. If you are looking to buy, sell, rent or do anything with real estate, Marsha is your person. Her 20+ years of experience is of EPIC value in the craziest market any of us have ever seen. I take pride in working with people who are passionate about their work and cannot recommend her enough.
