We talked customizations, we talked cheeses, we talked fry options, we talked toppings... You name it, we talked it! I decided on the "breakfast all day" burger (as I'm a sucker for a fried egg on basically ANYTHING) and the parmesan fries! Omg, DELISH! I loved my burger and the fries were impressive, not greasy, and surprisingly light! While enjoying my massive lunch, Magdiel mentioned that I also had to chose a custard flavor! When I lived in NYC, it was all about Shake Shack. When I moved to LA, it was all about In-n-Out. When I was last in Jax, it was about M Shack and a couple of other places but now, it appears as though a new burger contender has moved to town - the Florida-based franchise: Burgerfi. The menu looks similar to those I've seen elsewhere - signature burgers, do-it-yourself burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, and custard. So, I wondered if there would be anything that would distinguish this place from other great burger joints. As I took a closer look at the menu, I was struck by the fact that none of the signature beef burgers came with a single patty, except the breakfast burger. And, the "build-your-own" certainly isn't a good value if you get one patty. So, I got the Burgerfi burger ($5.97) with the sauce on the side because I'm not a fan of thousand island-type sauces. I also got a regular fry ($3.27) and a small sundae ($3.97). The custard options were sundaes, shakes, malts, concretes, and floats, similar to Shake Shack. But, there was no "dish" of custard. The burger, fries, and sundae totaled about $14, which was kinda pricey for a meal sans a drink. But the food was good. The burger patties were thin but well-cooked to a medium well and the small piece of lettuce and tomato slice were fresh. The fries were salted perfectly and they were soft but had a slight bite. Surprisingly, I found the Burgerfi sauce to be really tasty and I ended up putting it on the burger and dipping the fries in it! And of course, you can't go wrong with frozen custard. So, the verdict is that Burgerfi makes a good burger but it's not as good as Shake Shack and it's much more expensive than In-n-Out for essentially the same thing. With that said, the customer service was outstanding and the special sauce was excellent so I'll definitely be back. read more

I remember my first visit and there so many choices I got nervous but the cashier was so nice and helpful I didn't even feel bad for holding up the line a bit!! Okay so you walk up and order and pay, they give you a buzzer and you sit and wait until your food is ready or go get your drink. They have those fancy pop machines where it's touch screen and you press the drink and then you gives you top secret flavors that you probably didn't know existed ‍. When I tell you they not skimpy on the food they is not skimpy on the food. I always get the Burger Fi cheese burger guess whaaaat it comes as a double!! We chose the VegiFy and Beyond Burger entrees and one side of Cry & Fry (3 massive onion rings along with French fries). We hydrated with water and a Coke. I love the option to substitute your burger bun with lettuce (additional.50). However, this option almost forces you to use knife and fork with your burger. The "burgers" were ok and definitely filling. The fry combo was enough to split. Our party of two left feeling satisfied. As far as timeliness, after standing in line to order and then placing our order, we received items within 15 minutes. BurgerFI is a serve yourself condiments and beverages style joint . Burger Fi is an upscale burger restaurant which just opened a few days ago at the Markets of St. John's Town Center. They serve hormone-free, antibiotic-free burgers, as well as hot dogs, fries, onion rings (they're huge!), milkshakes, house-made frozen custard, dessert items, and craft beers and wine. They also have VegeFi burger which is a crisp quinoa burger. My son and I stopped by for lunch after church service. The place was busy. My son ordered the BurgerFi Double Cheeseburger with Hickory Bacon and paired it with regular fries. I ordered the 1/2 + 1/2 burger on their secret menu. It's a natural Angus burger topped with American cheese and a crisp quinoa burger topped with white cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and BurgerFi sauce. Their regular fries were enough for two people. Their burgers may be stacked high, but it's still a little small for me. I'm still a fan though! Friendly staff and fast service. The place was packed, but our food came out quickly. I came here a few times before I started yelping and I really like their burgers. Not all burgers taste the same, but their burgers are really juicy and never dry. Love the restaurant both inside and out. It's great how they leave bowls of water outside for people who bring their pets. Their choices of sides is awesome and it's plenty! Onion rings are to die for and fries are hot and crunchy. I got the double burger with no cheese with BurgerFi sauce. Really tasty and again, the party is juicy and hot. This has never happened in my life ever. The meat on these burgers are that good. My wife and I agreed that eating a burger here is a better experience than eating steaks in some steakhouses. The family sized fries was large enough for a family of 5. The onion rings are huge, crispy and full of flavor. I highly recommend them. The onion rings were still crispy a few hours later while being enjoyed as leftovers. They have the coke dispenser that allows the kids to have all different types of coke products which is always fun for them. A few employees were constantly cleaning and everyone was very friendly. I live near this location but always go to Riverside which I love. Their food and customer service are always great. I decided to try this location and quickly understood why I go to the other location. 1. It's so grungy and dirty. The floor was sticky and nasty. 2. We stood in line and was never greeted. The person in front of us placed his order and that was pretty much it. No one even attempted to help us. As we walked out I noticed the staff looking at us with a look as if they didn't understand why we were leaving. I even took a pic of them looking at us. I won't post it here and only send it to corporate. I will never go back here. I'll continue to support the riverside location weekly as they treat their customers like they are truly valued. I was in need of a fresh Bad for me burger so I knew that burgerfi would deliver. I haven't ever been to this location but was impressed with the cleanliness of it. Everything looks very nice and orderly. You can actually bring your dog here outside in the patio area which is covered. Nice touch. I have the CEO burger which was a double patty with bacon jelly and a aioli sauce with some other things thrown on there. I added tomato and sautéed onions. Hands-down amazing. Now I am very glad that I got to napkin before I left. I got it togo . It definitely was a messy burger. Just because it has the wrapping on the outside doesn't mean that sauce won't drip to the paper. They don't have a very busy menu which I like. Means everything is very thought out. New location for burgers at St. Johns Town Center. Overall good burger and excellent french fries. They also have Coca Cola freestyle machines. But both machines were empty on a lot of different types of soda. Parking can be a challenge. Lots of stores in the area and other restaurants can make it a bit of a challenge to find a parking space. Cute outside area where they do have water bowls for pets. I really like their fries. But first time they messed up the order. Ordered the salt and vinegar but they prepared something else. Quickly corrected. But these fries could have used a bit more vinegar. I decided to give BurgerFi a shot because I had a local flavor deal. I didn't have incredibly high expectations since I hadn't found a great burger place in Jacksonville. The atmosphere almost reminded me of a chipotle. It is a little industrial but comfortable enough. The restaurant was pretty clean and the space was utilized well. The menu had limited options and you can also create your own. I chose to create my own. I chose a double with the BurgerFi sauce, grilled onions, lettuce, pickle and white cheddar. It was amazing!! The burger was juicy and flavorful without being greasy. We also shared the cry and fry. It is a mix of fries and onion rings. We got our fries with the parmesan and herb topping. They were fantastic. It wasn't some nasty sauce it was real Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs. It tasted great. The onion rings are out of this world and I loved them!! They were some of the best I have had. They also have beer, wine, soda, lemonade and custard. I was so full we didn't finish our shared fries so we didn't try the custard. Definitely try BurgerFi. It's great!!! The only reason I am knocking off one star is I do feel they are overpriced and the employees weren't very welcoming and two were having a public fight and couldn't put it aside to help. read more

While I understand they were probably busier than usual (National Cheeseburger Day), there was 1) zero communication between the staff and patrons to let us know what the hold up was and 2) since we ordered on the app where it forces you to pay ahead, we couldn't just decide to go elsewhere. It should never take 40 mins to get 2 burgers and an order of fries. Never. It was our first time using the app to order ahead. We arrived a few mins before our pick-up time and ended up waiting another 40 mins before our order was ready. The staff seemed overwhelmed. They didn't any updates on the lengthy delay and didn't offer anything (at least a drink while we wait ‍), so we were basically stuck there, amongst the crowd and in our masks since we had to pay ahead. I certainly would've left and picked up food elsewhere had I not been tied to the transaction before I walked in the door. A favorite burger spot in Jax. First of all you can't go wrong with anything on the menu but if you are vegan or vegetarian their beyond burgers is the bomb.com my husband and I do a fast every January and we only eat a strict vegan diet it's nice to have a option at a burger restaurant that caters to everyone. My kids also love the burgers and recently they added chicken tenders so that's a bonus right there. Try their urban fries, they are so delicious but I will say try and eat there when it opens sometimes taking the fries to go they tend to get to soggy. I wish they would make them more crisp. Also the truffle fries are my favorite I just love truffle anything! We come here at least once a month and Tuesday's kids get a free meal with adult purchase so that's always nice because eating out with kids can add up we all know. read more

New burger restaurant at TownCenter that is packing good crowds. I am not sure I can properly evaluate it because the crowds were so large when we went. However we did try: Breakfast All Day (topped with a fried egg) Build Your Own Burger Fries with Parmesan and salt Onion rings (the size of an onion) Red Velvet milkshake Black and White milkshake Getting a table was a free-for-all with me gaining a new respect for how fearless soccer moms can be when they want something. This took away a bit from the experience, as an older couple kept stalking our table when we were only half done with our food. Ouch, they were food creepsters, at one point I thought they were going to pilfer an onion ring. Food was really good and contented cherubic faces filled our table.
