So so burger. Fries are not very good either. Didn't really check the score before I went, if I know probably would try something else. Ordered salad, no dressing. Environment is nice , service is nice. But food is okay.

The fries are so good - we had them with cheese sauce and it was just perfect. The black angus burger was great and tasty. I wouldn't recommend you the chicken burger because it's minced chicken meat and not a normal breast.

Nice burgers if I coming to Amsterdam again I will definitely eat here again. Thank you for a good meal!

I LOVED this beer. It's a light IPA but so delicious.

Enjoyed an almost American burger here. Europeans like to use something called "burger sauce" and I'm not really sure what it is but it's not something we use so that's what made it "almost" American. There is some huge burger movement going on in Europe now where burgers are booming and a lot of street vendors are making them but this place was the one we tried and we were pretty happy. I got an American burger of course which was cheese, meat, lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion and of course the burger sauce. the restaurant was cozy, full bar and plenty of tables to accommodate. The staff was really welcoming and helpful. Location was good, right off the main drag. I have no complaints.

What an awesome little stop for a burger on our trip through Amsterdam. The burgers at our table we're good all the way around and everybody was very pleased with our food. The tables even have taps at some of them where you can get your own beer. What's on tap? Why it is Heineken of course. Don't worry, there are other choices as well. Stop in 4 a meal and a beer. You won't regret it.

Burgers good (hard to get that wrong) but service needs some work. Sides completely forgotten by serving staff, leaving us ready to leave while still waiting for food. Menu isn't complicated so it should be harder to mess that up.

Stopped by here for dinner last night with my girlfriend. Menu seemed good and burgers looked tasty. Girlfriend and I were seated rather quickly but then no waiter/waitress came to us for at least 15 minutes, at which point they didn't have English drink menus or milkshakes. We ordered two burgers and onion rings but onion rings never came so we just cancelled the order. Additionally, we were never served beverages, and the waitress didn't seem interested in taking our orders. She was completely rushed. Legitimately my least favorite dining experience potentially ever.

I had higher expirations. The burger wasn't that good and there was a little sauce with the fries. The service was also not very good. The menu was not very clear so I didn't know what to order. And the cashier didn't help me choosing a burger. So let's try another place.

    Down town dog!

As we wondered the streets of Amsterdam we noticed a lot of interesting baked hot dogs in the store windows. They looked like slices of pizza waiting to be consumed. Of course my picky husband didn't want to try a soggy hot dog that has been sitting out for 5 hours. He needed a freshly prepared hot dog. So, Burgerfabriek was recommended. We were on a hunt for a unique hot dog and this place delivered. We ordered the down town dog. The combination of mango chutney, colander, and mint pesto worked. I was skeptical but when I took my first bite I was in heaven. Even though we only came for a hot dog we couldn't pass up the chance to try a burger. We had the foie gras burger. The burger was very juicy and greasy but we chalked it up to the the wagyu beef in the burger. The foie gras melted in my mouth. We have had many versions of this burger in the States but this one was one of our top three favs. I can see why someone would come here especially after a late night of indulging.

Delicious trio of angus, wagyu and blonde, very friendly staff. Price level is good, you get a side to the burger.

Alright food, however the manager regularly rushes his customers and systematically overcharges. Would not recommend.

Busy lunch hours seemed to be dropping off around 13:30, about when I was there. It's possible there's an upstairs, but it was roped off on my visit. I decided to go with a unique combination, an unconventional choice, with the "Silence of the Lambs" burger, a patty made out of lamb, topped with goats cheese and sautéed onion. There was just one guy manning the register, and one lady cooking in the back. The first bite was divine, but towards the end I found it to mellow out to a rather neutral impression. I'd like to have tried a beef burger, and was contemplating the Dragon, but when in Ams. Worth a try, if convenient to do so.

I ordered the cheesy freak, my daughter ordered the silly cheesesteak and my other daughter and hubby got the classic plus we ordered a side of roasted potatoes. Our burgers were cooked PERFECTLY to medium rare! The three cheeses were so nicely melted and complemented each other beautifully. The burger was juicy but somehow not greasy! We realized this just be the difference between American beef and grass fed Dutch beef! And the potatoes were to die for! I do not typically like roasted potatoes, but these were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked so they were slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The service was spot on! When we walked in, there were not enough seats, but the staff took our order, and assured us that there would be seats by the time our food was ready. As soon as other patrons finished their meal, the staff called us in from outside to come and take our seats. Minutes later, our meal was delivered! They were so friendly and accommodating to us and made conversation. The vibe is very inviting and cozy. It is amazing that they were able to rotate all of the patrons in and out in an appropriate amount of time. I loved the music too! I am so glad we came here! It was a perfect end to our visit to Amsterdam!

I believe the level burgerdom at Ter Marsch is good quality - yet mediocre in taste. The bun is stale. At least mine was. I'm not sure if it was intended to be in that condition. The burger is thick and juicy, but lacking in the fresh beefiness that I wanted. What sets it apart is the aioli sauce - really top notch. The lettuce fell out. Shredded lettuce would have been better. The problem was the hockey puck burger sat high in the middle of the bun. When you bite into it, you get a mouthful of bun, and the hockey puck gushes out the side. If you bite into the hockey puck the rest of the ingredients gush out the side and down your hand, and you're left with disintegrated stale bun pieces. Sweet potato fries were ok, and the truffle sauce sent it over the top. But honestly, it's middle of the road in Southern California Burger Land.
