I tried the classic burger and the pork sandwich and I was disappointed in both. The patties on both sandwiches were pretty bland with no flavor at all. It seems Burger Lounge relies on the toppings to make the sandwich flavorful but we all know a good burger is well seasoned and the toppings complement the sandwich, making it even better. We visited Burger Lounge in Santa Monica on 06/08/2025 at about 2:30PM. This was my first time at this location. We had an overall enjoyable experience. I had the Crispy Queso Hatch Chili Burger, which was awesome. It was so enjoyable. I also shared a side of onion rings with someone. The food was fantastic and the service was fast. They did keep forgetting to bring us things, after they asked. For example, upon delivering the food, they asked if we needed anything else (ex: missing fork for the person who got a salad) and then she forgot to bring it. It wasn't even busy. But, as for me, I enjoyed by burger and rings along with the Hibuscus Lemonade. I do wish the onion rings were priced just a little bit more reasonable (or fries for that matter) and it was encourage me to always get a side. read more

Wow. I just finished my lunch and had to come on here to brag about how amazing it was. I'm a vegetarian and always looking for a good veggie burger. I don't do Impossible or Beyond Meat because I don't like meat flavors and genuinely enjoy a creative veggie patty. I was Yelping around to find a good local veggie burger and landed on this. They also have a meat substitute if that's your jam. Honestly, I'm not sure what they DON'T have. Their menu is pretty loaded. I ordered the Ancient Grain burger with vegan cheese, no 1000 island and added mustard. I added jalapeños, too, and they didn't skimp. WOW. What a delish burger. So we called around to the locations that were near and asked if they could accommodate a party of 20 with kids included. This was of one out of two places that didn't have a long wait time. They told us they would be able to put some tables together and we could all sit together. The other option at the other restaurant was to place a few tables close together, they didn't have room to place us all together. We ended up showing up within 3 minutes and the tables were ready for us. There wasn't anyone seated inside so that was great. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. It was a bit hectic with the kids but the staff were really patient. Food came out in a reasonable time and prices were a little bit more than what some of the parents wanted to pay. The Hache cheese queso burger (grass fed beef -that is better quality/ is much appreciated) is the best burger ever with the fresh avocado!! Thanks to the grill chef's making them. ! I had it as a double (with some arugula) and I made it into two meals. With a large fry. Healthier here too cause they use rice oil for the french fries (no canola or soy oil is another reason I go here). This burger place is the best healthy burger chain in CA or in the United States. I love this place and come here every week. They have had the lamb burger on special for July and August and it's amazing, my favorite. When I order protein style with no bun they know how to give plenty Q lettuce unlike most other protein style burgers I've ordered elsewhere. The Daily Greens Salad is really good and healthy, it's probably my favorite thing I've had here. I love coming here to eat after going to the AMC movie theater across the street. I just came out of the Beyoncé Renaissance tour movie, which didn't drag on like the Taylor Swift Eras tour movie. Now I really want to see Taylor Swift again in concert, since Beyoncé's tour is over. I didn't really appreciate the massive amount of work that is involved in going to one of the mega concerts (I've seen both TS and Beyoncé; the most recent tours) until I saw Beyoncé's tour movie.
