Food was as good as you can expect from BK. Main lobby area is actually pretty nice and clean, employees were friendly, but the food took fooooorever to be made (and we were the only ones in there) and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The service was fine and the restaurant was fairly clean but the FLY infestation is crazy. About 20+ flies in the bathroom closest to the main entrance, and I ate my food like I was in prison, guarding it from flies left and right. Other than that the place is chill. read more

Consumer beware.. I'm assuming this is at all Burger King's, do NOT order jalapeño poppers anymore. They have become this tiny triangular bug, it's nowhere near the size it use to be. Sure to be obsolete soon if it stays at the miniature size it has become. I was shocked. If you're a trucker lookin to fool your stomach, by all means, but if you're looking to feed children pass for sure. Give me liberty or give me chicken fries...well actually I'd like both. Unfortunately BK does not have the former on the menu, so substitute with a Tender Crisp chicken sandwich and we'll be friends. So folks, look, this is Wendover. If you're passing through or leaving from a stay there and don't have time to go into one of the Casino's for some food, your choices are limited to a couple of fast food places including this one and the over priced gas stations. It's the nature of the beast. However, I can say anytime I've visited here I've had fast and overall friendly service, and BK food is generally decent for fast food. If I had any complaint it would be that it sometimes tastes like they need to change the oil in the deep fryers, but I'm basing that on only a couple of visits here and in fairness I can charge most fast food locations with that at times. But again, it's Wendover, you don't expect Haute Cuisine, you just want convenience and speed and this location wins in both respects. Inside this location is actually pretty clean, and surprisingly modern, it's been revamped since prior visits and has the flat screen TV's, and LCD menus we are coming to expect at our fast food locations. Visited April 2019 - the place was great. It was clean, has been fairly recently remodeled, and the food was fresh and fast. Staff were pleasant. Lots of parking. Only negative on my visit - no play area for kids. read more

I was going to write this review last night but decided to hold off until I was sure I avoided food poisoning. The place was clean for the most part and has been remodeled with nicer seating, flat screen menus and a flat screen TV with news. I ordered an A1 bacon burger combo and added ten nuggets for $1.50. They have a Coke freestyle machine as well. Food came out fast. The fries were great, the burger meat was pretty meh, and the nuggets were cold. My Powerade tasted a little off as well. There aren't a whole lot of options in Wendover. Especially if you want a quick stop in the middle of your drive. This one was okay and sadly probably one of your better available options. Burger was okay but we couldn't get past all the flies in the restaurant. There were so many that we were swatting flies away every few seconds while sitting at a table. We mentioned it to the staff and then they came out with spray and made the restaurant smell like insect repellent. Get a zapper!! Used the restroom and it was so dirty. No toilet paper or paper towels! Filthy. Food on the floor. When we mentioned it to staff, all of them just stood around almost laughing! Worst service. People had to ask to have tables wiped down. Driving through wendover getting breakfast this morning and I ordered a #3 meal (breakfast sandwich, tater tots, OJ) and two waters. I get my food and start to drive away and realize there is no OJ, so I go back. The lady says "oh, I replaced the oh with water." This was the plan for a quick breakfast on the road. Atmosphere - Went through the drive thru so not much to rate here. Food Drink - A large Joe, simple coffee, a little bitter. Breakfast - I am not a fan of their crossian'wich's. I ended up ordering the Egg-normous burrito. It was large, large enough where I only needed one. The burrito is filled with eggs and hash browns and they indicate two sauces a Queso and creamy spicy sauce. One of those sauces was off putting for me. There was no heat, which is fine, I accept that as my heat tolerance is much higher than most people. But something was very sweet which killed the taste for me. The woman who packaged my order was wearing a mask, but she wasn't wearing gloves while scooping my hash browns into the container. Based on the number of Hispanics working here, I was surprised at the low quality. I was served a fish sandwich that looked and tasted like it spent three hours under the warmer. They also do not accept e-gift cards. Was generally clean, I didn't go into the restroom though. No fry sauce either. Too bad there is NO zero rating for this place. My husband & were staying at local motel passing thru UT to CA. Late at night, stuck in a snow storm we had to get off I-80. We were also starving to death, so we went to local Burger King instead of inside the local casinos in NV which were a block away in Wendover, NV. After 10p at night we were there. We saw an ad on window, buy one get one free for some new sandwich. So we ordered one sandwich I would like & one sandwich my husband would like. However, counter sales people didn't seem to understand English at all. I also asked them to make a a chocolate strawberry milkshake. The cashier said they only had banana & chocolate so I said yes please. The bill should have been less than $10. Instead when we paid to leave it was over $25. kept asking for the manager & was told no one understood what we were saying. I was born & raised in this country & speak English fluently & some Spanish as well. Yet all cooks & cashiers ONLY spoke Spanish. The menu was in English so why did no one get our order correct? We got to hotel & found 4 sandwiches, not two, 4 bags of french fries we didn't order, a few other sandwiches we had no idea what they were & only received a chocolate milkshake, plus two large cola's. If you are going to work in a restaurant with an English menu, you need to learn to read what the menu says & understand what the customer ordered!! read more
