My first morning in Fountain Hills visiting from Phoenix I decided on a Burger King breakfast. I had the Croissandwich with the works(sausage, egg, ham, bacon, cheddar). It was tasty and ready fast with yummy hash browns and a Capri Sun apple juice. Service by Manager Guadalupe was excellent. It's a nice, newer building that was clean with above average seating. This location is top notch! The first time there, I ordered jalapeño poppers through the drive they and the cheese had cooked out of them. I called and they replaced them at my next visit. The woman who is at the front counter is so nice! I think she may be the owner of this location. The other workers are also great. Looks like it may be a family working together. If you like to use the BK app avoid this location. This location seems to have a lot of issues with the Burger King app. Can't use promotional TMobile Tuesday deal when the app was just recently working. Minor issue in the scheme of life but i use the app a lot so i have to go out of my way if i want anything using the app, which is a hassle but better then getting played. This is the only location that seems to consistently have issues with their app. The store manager said the company decides when it works which seems kind of suspect. I just left the Burger King in Fountain Hills, Arizona. While in the restaurant, I witness them touching the trashcan, while making food. There were many other health code violation, that I observed tonight. I'm planning on reaching out to the local health department on tomorrow. I realize their employees were uneducated and didn't have common sense. They displayed horrible computer and communication skills as it pretain to them doing their job. I went thru the drive thru this am ( Jan1 )about 7:30am and ordered a croissant. While pulling around to the pay at the window, I remembered they used to have 2 for $5. I asked if the deal was still valid. The young woman said yes. I told her that is what I wanted. She changed my order and asked me to pull around to the door which I did as is normal. I paid for my order and did not get a receipt, which is wrong but standard practice at that location. I pulled around and waited. When she brought my order out I asked her why she did not offer me the 2 for $5. which is only .11 more. She said she normally does but I "sounded like" my mind was made up...What??????? Sounded like my mind was made up.? I asked her if she thought that was good customer service. Her response was "is that the way you want to start the new year off? If you want my managers number you can talk to her" How rude! I declined the phone number and sent in a complaint to corporate and here. In this day of Covid, many restaurants are hurting for business. There are plenty of places in Fountain HIlls to eat. This Burger King will not be one of them. I was out getting essentials at Safeway located by the Burger King- I was hungry so I stopped there for a quick burger. Normally, I would go through the drive through but it's was packed! So, I decided to go in- masks were required. However, I noticed that almost All the employees were either not wearing a mask or gloves, and if they did have a mask it was on incorrectly. On the forehead, under the chin, around their neck! I was floored!! Another gentleman came in- we both looked at each other like What the Heck!! I walked out and so did he. This might be the only place in the United States that serving food without mask on！Unblievable! and discarding! How dare they!!

We went to the store in Fountain Hills Arizona where on their phone number they say they are open until 10 for the drive thru. We got to the store at 7pm only to sit in line for about 30 minutes with about 8 other cars behind us. The menu board was lit up and there were 2-3 employees inside the store. They had the back door open where they were able to see the drive thru and nobody ever took our order or came out to let us know that they weren't open. Their phone number states their hours clearly as does the hours sign on the front door but apparently they decided on their own to close early and didn't even have the decency to come out and tell all of their customers lined up waiting that they had closed. We had to knock on the window of the drive thru where the employees were just sitting around inside talking and waved their hand over their throat that they closed. How extremely unprofessional for this location to act. They should have at least shut off the lights or put a sign up at the drive thru so their customers didn't waste a half hour out of their day by sitting there without ever being told that they were closed. This business practice is unacceptable and pathetic! read more

Ate inside for the first time in a long while. Usually, it's To Go. Ordered the Whopper combo, no upsizing. The cashier was friendly, paid him and he noticed I had a coin, which looked like a quarter, but was from United Arab Republic. He asked if I had another coin, I didn't so I was going to take my change back and give him a dollar. But he said 'Don't worry about it and took the coins. In response the girl made a rude retort and an exchange of words were made. The girl then called my mother an explitive word. I went in to complain, and was told the manager was to busy to speak to me. When she finally came out she defended her employee by saying she was just 16 and only made minimum wage. I understand this, I work in customer service as well. However, that doesn't give someone the right to treat a customer that way. I threatened to call corporate (which I did) and was told to leave and was not welcome back. For some reason this is not the case and the burger king in fountain hills is only consistent for SUCKING and SCREWING UP YOUR ORDER and never bringing it to you when they tell you to wait outside. I have had the misfortune to eat at this one over the past few years and it sucks even more now that they did this big fancy remodel than before. Here is a tip: Dont waste a bunch of money on some expensive remodel and then expect to stay in business giving people crappy COLD and OLD fries that they have to wait 15 minutes for. I'm not a fan of fast food chains but the Big Breakfast here at Burger King or whatever the meal that comes with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and pancakes is called is amazing! Better than Denny's even and cheaper. I can eat breakfast here everyday for the rest of my life. I'm a vegetarian so I ask them to replace the saugage with an extra hashbrowns. Mcdonalds always refuses to replace the saugage for something else so Burger King beats them automaticay. I will never go to Mickey D's for breakfast if there is a Burger King around. read more

The building is very new and the staff is friendly. I go there at least 3 times a week because they are on my way home from work. The food has been consistent so far and the drunk machine is a awesome custom mixing coke machine that let's you customize every drink. The wait times can be long at times so a faster drive thru would be nice but, I'd say overall it's one of the top burger kings I've visited for fast food. read more

I don't get all the bad reviews. We have been there 4 times over the last two months, and every time it was a very good experience. Even with a long drive up line for two of those visits, the service was very fast. Our food orders were right and hot every time, especially the fries. We were both blown away the first time we went there, because let's face it, any fast food joint these days is not normally a great experience. All 4 experiences were identical. All thru the the drive -thru where a very pleasant voice greeted us and took our order over a very clear speaker system. The person at the window was also very friendly. I swear the burgers looked bigger, like they used to be back in the early days of BK. The burgers were wrapped and built like they were in a tv commercial. We were both shocked! So far we are 4 for 4 and we are going this evening for visit number 5. I told a friend about how great our experiences were. He looked up the yelp reviews and told me they were only 3 stars, but he went anyway because of our recommendation. He told us that he had the same great experience that we had! Apparently with all of the BK's closing down all over the place, this franchisee decided to get back to the basics of what made them great years ago. They must have put their people thru a retraining program, because our 4 experiences were awesome no matter which employee we interacted with. Keep it up, and keep it open! read more
