Drive thru line

It's so hard to believe that these corporate restaurants allow their employees to do whatever they want when it comes to service. They shut down the dining room door their own convenience. This ruins the ability for delivery drivers to get there orders efficiently and move on to the next spot. Something truly needs to happen to these fast food restaurants that are allowed to just do what they want for their own satisfaction because if it's raining and you want to go thru the drive through for pickup they demand that you come inside. It's ridiculous and corporate needs to rein these hooligans in .

Wrinkled bun of Impossible Whopper from sitting too long before serving.

My order was placed at 1:18 At 1:30 I asked about my order (after 3 customers ordered after I got their orders. I'm giving two stars because the cashier helped me place the order. Otherwise, I would only give one star! You can tell by the wrinkled paper and bun, that my order had been sitting forgotten behind the counter. It sat long enough to get cold. Perhaps I ought to give another star for the dining room being clean.

Never go here. Servers are rude and unfriendly. Refused to let me use the restroom unless I ordered something. Never go there again.

The worst aspect is the ventilation which needs much work. We came out smelling so greasy and smokey. We seated ourselves and waited a minute for our waitress to assist us. She kept saying she was new, that it was like her second day or something and didn't quite know the menu. She also didn't know how to make a drink, with that being the case why are you allowed to make any cocktails. If you have a limited cocktail menu but an extensive bar selection you would think their cocktail specials were on point. Nooooo. The BF tried a margarita special and it was awful. I tried a special crafted cocktail that was cool that our waitress asked the guy bartending to specially make because she had no clue about what I was talking about. I hate going to a spot where I make drinks better than the bartenders on hand and that's your job. The BF ordered the the garlic burger and I ordered the Korean wings which NEVER came out because our waitress forgot to order them. So I shared food with the BF. The burger was extremely underwhelming, not seasoned at all. How do you specialize in burgers and mess that up. The best item we ate was the fries and the comedy show was good. I love dinner and entertainment. We are burger enthusiast and if this what your restaurant specializes in I expect to be wowed. We saw all the social media hype surrounding this place and were so excited to try them. To find out it was ALL just hype is a real let down. No we will not be returning, the burgers and service speak for themselves.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the food bc I had dinner plans, but I did stay for a couple drinks. They have a great selection of spirits and cocktail specials. My friend got a tequila sunrise, so I followed suit. The pour was quite generous, I must say, and I'm def not complaining. The drink was smooth, with the perfect amount of tequila and sweetness. The bartenders working were both friendly and sociable. The vibe was relaxed and is a great alternative when things get too crazy at the dam. While I only got drinks, I'll for sure be back. The smells alone (all good of course) will have you lingering back!

He said, "Yeah, they're good, but I'll tell you who has the best burger in St. Louis. No, the best burger in Missouri! Jovick Brothers! Sometimes I eat them three times a week!" In a town now inundated with great smash burgers, that was a bold claim, especially coming from a competitor, but having scarfed a double last week on their front patio, I'm inclined to put Jovick at the top of my list, too. It checks all the smash-boxes. Crispy edges. Great burger meat. Perfect texture. Not dense. Good fat - ideal amount of grease (if you don't like that word, don't come). I never believed in the smash burger fairy, but someone with supernatural culinary skill comes in the night to season that grill. And the balance of condiments is perfect. But enough of my yappin'. Go eat a Jovick's.

The phrase eating good in the neighborhood gets thrown around fairly often in conversations about…read morecertain chain restaurants, and your mom's hobbies (lol jk). Rarely is it more appropriate than when it's used to discuss my meal yesterday at Jovick Brothers Burgers. I was in the area to meet up with my running group. It ended up being a lovely evening to dine out on the patio out front. It was a little bit later in the evening, on a weeknight, but I don't recall seeing anyone else dining in, inside or outside, though there was a steady stream of people in and out to pick up delivery orders. I shudder to think what it might cost to have a disgraced former dentist bring you a burger, fries and what have you in his Prius, but it might be worth it, if you have the means. It would save you the hassle of trying to find this place. (My apologies if you live in the area. Perhaps needless to say, I am from West County.) The girl who works the counter gives off the vibe of not being there to work, like maybe she just lives there, which I personally found charming. Your mileage may vary. She seemed to dread having to reveal that there's a surcharge for paying with credit, like maybe it's led to physical confrontations in the past. I didn't bother to inquire about whether I would have been allowed to place a cash payment in her waistband, since I didn't have any on me. (Remind me to hit an ATM.) You're given the option of building your own burger, like at a Fuddruckers (but the guy in the back still puts it together), or you can select from a small handful of specialty burgers that seem like they may have been created by someone under the influence, including a burger with mayonnaise and peanut butter on it at the same time. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that's just a typo. They obviously created these menus themselves using circa 1996 desktop publishing software, and maybe they made a mistake. If you're most people, you don't need to look any further than the Southsider, which is more or less their version of the Arch D-Lux at Hi-Pointe. (In general, this place is a knockoff Hi-Pointe, but in a remote location and without the marketing savvy.) It comes with bacon and cheese, LTOP and mayo. The onions are grilled. I didn't bother to do the math, because I didn't have my calculator handy (I was warned about this in 5th grade), but I don't think there was much, if any cost savings from ordering a bacon cheeseburger a la carte. The Southsider might still be worth it though for the grilled onions. As was the case with the Blue Ribbon Burger at 5 Star in Clayton, which I also had recently, I was surprised at how much they made this burger. They're much more flavorful than anything you could make at home (unless you actually know how to cook), like a french onion dip made from a packet of soup mix, i.e. the best thing you can eat. The beef was also surprisingly well-seasoned, almost to a fault. I'm too much of a savage to know if they used anything other than just salt. Maybe it's the maillard(sp?) effect, from how well-done it is. They cook the absolute crap out of both the burger and the fries. Usually, I prefer my beef a little bit pink in the center (I'll spare you a metaphor that occurred to me), but that might not be possible with the smash-burger preparation. One of the benefits is that they're surprisingly crisp and flavorful at the edges, almost like bacon. I'm not sure what the thought was behind making the fries so well-done. Was the idea to make it seem like they're not cooked from frozen and possibly sourced from Ore-Ida? At any rate, to their credit, they come out nice and hot, and quickly. If you're part of a large group, they bring orders out as they're completed, rather than letting them sit around for a while and bringing them all out at once. You're sitting on rusted out lawn furniture, across the street from a boarded up SRO, so there's no concern about diving in right away. You might not even have to wear a shirt.

I tried it, I liked it and I just keep ordering it when I go. Every time I go I order, The Ultimate Cheeseburger Combo. I order the regular size, regular fries and a Zero Coke. It's two patties grilled and seasoned with Swiss and American Cheeses. The only condiments are; mustard, ketchup and mayo. There's no onions or pickles. The patties with cheese are served on a, toasted buttery bakery bun. No matter which Jack I order it from, it always hits the spot. I just recently moved to a condo near this Jack, so one late night I gave them a try. I was really impressed with the customer service. The associate working the drive-thru was pleasant and polite. I was pleased to hear the words, please and thank-you. In this current day, we don't hear them enough. My food was hot and fresh. I got an extra treat, a few Seasoned Curly Fries were mixed in with my regular fries. Next time a visit a Jack, I may change things up and order me some Curly Fries. If you're a Ronald's or Wendy's or even the King's fan, I suggest you give Jack a try.

So by the time we got our food it was cold and just almost inedible. Logic would dictate that if food is sitting there and customers are in your lobby (we are the only ones here) it likely belongs to them. But apparently there is NO logic here. So when I went up and the woman says "oh, it's been here" and I asked why they didn't say anything there were no apologies just attitude and excuses and then mumbling something that I'm sure was unintelligent. Hire better people who have logic and intelligence, that is the recommendation for this JITB management team. If this person is in management then there's no hope here.
