Poor Customer Service and Missing Item, passive aggressive manager. Very negative experience at Burger King location on Covington Avenue in Piqua, Ohio. I placed an order for three meals with three bottled waters and received only two meals -- no receipt was provided. When I returned to the store to resolve the issue, the manager was dismissive and combative, accusing me of being rude to the crew and challenging my tone. She questioned whether I'd ever worked in fast food (which I have) and continued to escalate the situation rather than simply correcting the order. I remained calm, but her behavior was unprofessional and condescending. Even after she pulled up the order, she refused to give me the missing item or a receipt. All I expected was for the order to be corrected, not to be talked down to or treated like I was at fault. This situation could have been handled respectfully and quickly. I hope this feedback helps improve future customer service at this location. read more

Once again the Piqua Burger King has let their customers down. We order two Croissan'wich meals. They told us they were out of coffee so we to substitute small diet Cokes. They refused and were rude. They wanted to upcharge for the drinks. I understand the supply chain issue, but if you can't keep an item in stock, provide a substitute without punishing the customers. I was hoping to give them another chance. After this fiasco I will continue to drive 10 miles to the next town to get my BK breakfasts. read more

Arrived for breakfast. Was told they were out of egg but we could order sandwiches without egg. Ok not a problem can you add a little extra hame then? Of course, they say. We get 2 combos. Exactly the same. Hash browns and coffees in each one. This is the ham and cheese breakfast melt. $18 we're told. that seems like a lot my wife says. "We'll ma'am we have to charge for the extra ham..... Wife says but you're out of egg... silence. Wife says hello? Your total is blah blah blah the order taker says. Ok whatever. We get to the pick up window. Take food coffees are in pop cups with straw lids and hands us straws too. Burger King, you can do better. read more

We are very regular to this location. Usually late dinner around 10pm. The night crew is awesome! They are quick to offer advice when ordering and happy to make any item fresh upon request. Highly recommended!! read more

Today, I went to get food for my husband and his coworker, whose job is so understaffed they have to work double shifts all this week. When I got to the drive-thru, the girl started off with, "Give me a minute." Then she told me to order. So I started giving my (relatively small) order. A number 1 with cheese and a medium Coke, two Impossible Whoppers, and one large fries. This is Not a large or complicated order, yet this girl told me to "Give me a minute" 4-5 times throughout the order. And then after I finally got my order out, I noticed she was charging me full price for the Impossible Whoppers, so I asked, "Are the Impossible Whoppers not 2 for $6 anymore like the sign says," and OMG! Her response? "GIVE ME A MINUTE! And if you want those at that price you Have To Ask For That Price!" Really, Becky? If I want my two sandwiches that are on the 2 for $6 menu, which is clearly marked by the sign at the top of the Drive-Thru Menu, I have to specifically say, "Please don't charge me more than the clearly advertised price?!" No. No no no. You do NOT give me this attitude. Not right now. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! When I got to the window, she didn't say a word to me, which was fine... BUT! Where was her mask?! Where Were Her Gloves?! WHY DID HER UNCOVERED SKIN COME INTO CONTACT WITH MY HAND?! My husband and I LOVE Impossible Whoppers. We come here all the time to order them when neither of us feel like cooking. I have spent more time waiting by the front entrance for my orders lately than I can remember... But getting this attitude and having this worker CLEARLY not following BK's COVID-19 protocols, have me rethinking ever visiting this location again, no matter how convenient it is to drive just ~2 miles to this location instead of ~8 to the Troy location. read more

Horrible service. I was there today at 5:15pm. They didn't have what I wanted and then got my order wrong. When I came back in to ask for the missing item the same girl that took my order and got it wrong rolled her eyes. The managers asked what I needed I told her and she said here you go. No sorry we got your order wrong or made you come in, and not only did she not correct her for getting my order wrong no correction on her poor attitude either. read more

About once every six months I like a whopper. Today was the day & what a terrible disappointment. I ordered my usual whopper with cheese, no pickle, no tomato. Repeated it twice. Due to COVID-19, I have been avoiding going inside, especially due to being pregnant and having respiratory issues. I wanted to use two coupons since there were 3 adults in the car, two of which are full-grown males that eat quite a lot. We asked to do two separate orders in order to use one coupon on each. This is not the first time I have done this. The first coupon was for a family meal deal. Upon the second order we were informed that we were not able to do this since it slows down their drive thru time. We argued, of course, as they told us we needed to come inside to place the order. Again, trying to avoid contact with others and other surfaces due to the virus. But I went in. I went in, very upset, and said that before I ordered I just wanted to make sure they understood that I found it rediculous that they would risk my health and safety for drive thru times. She argued that it was company policy that NO OTHER FOOD can be ordered with the Family Meal Deal. (What if we had more people????or wanted drinks?) Upset, I argued- I've personally seen many people order more food. She told me no they don't, this was three whoppers, three burgers and three fries. When she finally repeated what do I want to order I told her that I'd like to get the family meal deal. She told me that was rung up on the other register. I looked at her and told her she was the one who told me I had to come inside due to her drive thru times. Things kept escalating, yes, I raised my voice a bit but she did as well claiming she was remaining calm and should call the police on me. For what? For trying to pay for my food and for them putting my health at risk for their drive thru times? Neither of us were being kind to one another, to be honest. I agreed that I should not have raised my voice. I apologized for doing so and received no sort of apology for her behavior, only excuses. At one point she asked if she should get the handbook to show me that no other food can be ordered with the coupon. Seriously??? You're telling me that no one has ordered additional food? I am still furious- I was literally told to come inside because it will hurt their drive thru time then once inside given a different BS excuse. At every single other fast food place I have been to in my life, including this BK, if I have multiple orders or a lot of food I am simply asked to pull forward and they bring the food out to you. This prevents their drive thru times from getting messed up. Oh! And at one point I had to ask her to pull her face mask up over her nose. Again, yes, I raised my voice as she kept inturrupting me and giving me BS excuses, and I should not have done so, but that was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I did not want to go inside as I had no protective facial coverings for myself thinking I was just going through the drive-thru. Glad to know my personal safety and the safety of my family and unborn child is worth more than her drive-thru service time. On another note, a much calmer employee, not the Manger whom I had been dealing with, took my second order for me and was very calm and very polite. That transaction was quick and easy and pleasant despite me standing there crying. Props to her. read more
