The food ranged from very good ( fried chicken) too awful (cold hash browns) and everything else was somewhere in the middle. The chicken alone pretty much made it worthwhile. A thinly sliced brisket was also quite good. Evidently the main crowd comes before noon on Mother's Day and we had reservations at 1 PM. The room is nearly empty and unfortunately, the buffet was pretty worked over. We will probably come again because we like not having to wait in a long line to eat on that special day. The room was nothing fancy and the humidity was very high because you're eating near the pool. I recommend that you try it but keep your expectations realistic.

The two girls sprang in to action with their customer voices, Valley Girl style. They proceeded to build our sandwiches quickly and they soon were wrapped and rolled in Subway style. We added chips and drinks to our order and paid the tab. I was very impressed when the cashier gave us the 12 inch price for two 6 inch sandwiches. This generous act saved us $3.00. Thank you for that. Kudos for the fresh bread, crunchy veggies and tasty meats. We ate inside the store and I was impressed to see how many customers came in an out of the store while we were there. The girls were cleaning in between customers and that is always good to see. I am a Subway fan and this location up to the standards of the brand. It has a pretty strong local clientele but a lot of drivers and travelers will come in here. I came in after waking up one morning and one thing that sort of surprised me was was only one girl was in there Nobody else is working. So I was ready to wait for a little bit. Surprisingly the line that was there when I came in moved quickly she got it done fast. And I got everything that I wanted I went with a garlic roast beef. On White bread. I had the deluxe size. Toasted of course. Provolone cheese lettuce tomato black pepper and just kind of light on the garlic aioli the way I like it. I got the combo chips and drink. It's an older standalone Subway but it was nice and clean for the most part. And I definitely would come back to this one again if I end up running or staying the night at the road ranger.

It had been ~25 minutes since I placed my order at the kiosk (according to the time stamp on my receipt), and my two little ones (ages 3 and 5) were complaining loudly of their hunger. It was clear that the staff was backed up and working hard, but our wait time was ridiculous. As we stood there waiting for our order (two happy meals, one chicken sandwich, a small coffee, and two small waters), I watched one young man run at least seven orders outside to cars that were waiting. At least four of those orders included happy meals. After I inquired about my food, there was suddenly movement in my favor. I received the food and two cups for me to fill with water within 3-4 minutes after my inquiry. After filling the waters, I requested a drink carrier. I thought that was a simple request, but it took another few minutes for the young lady to find one for us. By the time we returned to the car, the arrival time on my GPS was a full hour later than when we arrived at McDonald's. The only good news is that the girls happily ate their meals in silence as I drove and attempted to recollect myself after an unintentionally long stop. The restaurant is beautifully designed, having clearly been updated recently. The staff is friendly enough. It is definitely not worth the long wait that we endured.
