We stopped here on a road trip because the little people needed to use the restroom and this was literally the first stop that came up after the need to pee was announced from the backseat. Headline: It was the worst possible option. Because the drive-through line was so long (backed up to the street entrance.), I decided to order inside after we finished in the restroom. The restaurant was full of people who were waiting on orders to be filled. After all of the people waiting with me cleared out, including the woman who ordered after me from the same kiosk, I used, I finally asked the staff where my order was. It had been ~25 minutes since I placed my order at the kiosk (according to the time stamp on my receipt), and my two little ones (ages 3 and 5) were complaining loudly of their hunger. It was clear that the staff was backed up and working hard, but our wait time was ridiculous. As we stood there waiting for our order (two happy meals, one chicken sandwich, a small coffee, and two small waters), I watched one young man run at least seven orders outside to cars that were waiting. At least four of those orders included happy meals. After I inquired about my food, there was suddenly movement in my favor. I received the food and two cups for me to fill with water within 3-4 minutes after my inquiry. After filling the waters, I requested a drink carrier. I thought that was a simple request, but it took another few minutes for the young lady to find one for us. By the time we returned to the car, the arrival time on my GPS was a full hour later than when we arrived at McDonald's. The only good news is that the girls happily ate their meals in silence as I drove and attempted to recollect myself after an unintentionally long stop. The restaurant is beautifully designed, having clearly been updated recently. The staff is friendly enough. It is definitely not worth the long wait that we endured. This restaurant had really nice decor inside. It looked newly remodeled. Unfortunately, it was very dirty. The tables and floors were not cleaned. The restaurant was pretty empty, so not sure why it was a mess. The food and service was good though. A decent stop while traveling. read more

I got a triple cheeseburger and it only came with 1 plate same for a Big Mac and a double never coming

4 mins at drive up with no acknowledgement of my presence I went to to open unlocked dining room only to be told it was closed and before I could leave it was said again, and then I was yelled at a third time before I could leave. Being rude is not a viable business model in my opinion, but maybe it works for them. I would avoid this location at all costs. Other restaurants might appreciate your business. Btw Burger King a few miles away was open and happy to have my business. read more

I do not recommend stopping at this McDonald's. When my family comes through here traveling to St. Louis we have stopped here a few times, the last two times we have had a 30 minute plus wait. Management needs to get a grip or even be present in this location. We were among many vehicles that were pulled in spots sitting there waiting. This is not a reflection of what McDonald's should be like.. not to mention the snack wrap that I received was so rubbery I couldn't even eat it. we also did not even get all of our food, that would've required waiting another seven minutes for the fries to get Done... Service was OK; food took about 4-5 minutes to come out. We got carry out, and food quality was poor. My wife's burger itself was ok, but loaded wIth onions and other toppings were haphazardly strewn about the sandwich and container. With a little rearranging it was acceptable. I got chicken tenders that were anything BUT tender. They were small, overcooked, and rubbery. We were already in the road and not willing to take the time to go back. Again, I do not expect much from McDonald's in terms of customer service, but this McDonald's has the worse customer service. I waited patiently at the cashier counter (along with several other customers) and was not waited on at all. And the staff noticed people waiting in line. And I observed that people who ordered at the kiosk did not receive there drink cups and had difficulty in flagging someone down for requested condiments. It was not very busy at the drive-in window. Of course I left without placing an order. I do not know if this practice was intentional so customers would have to order at the kiosk and pay with a credit card in order to not have to staff the register. I pay with cash and do not plan to use the kiosk and then go to the cashier to pay with cash. read more

I usually don't review McDonald's. They're all pretty average. You know you're going to get a quick meal, it's always going to taste the same and you generally know what you're getting.The only reason that I ever review one is if it is extraordinarily good or incredibly bad. This McDonald's falls into the incredibly bad. I went in and ordered. Although I ordered it to eat in the restaurant, I got it in a bag with no tray. What I asked for a tray, the girl went to the stack, grab one came back slid it across the counter and turned away. Usually, the managers at McDonald's are pretty good. I looked to see if there was a manager watching. The manager was playing a game on her phone while the phone was sitting on the stack of trays. That is incredibly unsanitary. You can see from my sandwich that was just thrown together. That's what you get when management doesn't care. However, that's really pretty minuscule. Up to this point it was simply a bad McDonald's. When I get ready to go, I went to the restroom. Huge mistake! Filthy and you should check out my pictures. The restaurant is fairly modern and very conveniently close to the interstate. This morning - from the Pinckneyville, IL McDonalds, I had purchased a caramel iced coffee with what was supposed to be light cream - and ended up tasting like cream with a splash of coffee (honestly there was no coffee taste). I only noticed this after driving away. The Nashville, IL McDonalds was more than happy to replace my iced coffee for no charge- even though I'd be willing to bet they are not under the same ownership. While foods is good, but could improve on paying attention to details of food orders. We came in this morning 5 minutes before lobby would be opened, the drive through was already opened. But at 7 am came, the door for lobby wasn't opened, by 7:11 am, we went around to drive through window to find out why, we were told , there's not enough people coming in, and they are about to open as soon more people coming in. I love McDonald's, it's one of my favorite fast food places but it really depends on which one you go to, the one in my town is awful, their not friendly at all and they never and I mean for the last 10 years have gotten my order right, so I go to different ones... I craved the quarter pound hamburger when I was pregnant 42 years ago and it is still my favorite of all hamburgers, and please notice, I said hamburger, NOT cheeseburger.... Went for breakfast and it wasn't that great. My wife's sandwich was cold and the girl who took my order couldn't seem to understand what I wanted when I ordered apple slices. It was late at night and there was some miscommunication on my behalf and I was given a hot coffee when in my mind I wanted a shake. This McDonalds is the worse I have ever been to. Service is especially bad, they hardly ever get our order correct. The other day I went through to get some smoothies and it took close to 15 mins sitting at the window. Really?! Doesn't it just come out of a machine?! The poor guy behind me was probably wondering what the heck was going on. I only come back to Nashville a couple of times a year to visit the folks, and we almost always have an issue. It is my understanding that many locals are annoyed by the terrible service and constant mistakes. It is almost always very crowded since it is the only game in town for miles around, and that doesn't help the wait time. Go a couple of miles into town (Nashville) to hit Subway, Dairy Queen or take a few extra minutes and sit down to a good lunch at Girolamo's or China Inn. Heck, China Inn has a lunch buffet that would take less time than dealing with this crazy place. NO THANKS....... read more
