You know, as long as I've lived here I've never gone to Burger King here, but I love their chicken sandwich so last night I was craving it. I went through the drive-through I get home and it is the worst chicken sandwich I have ever had from Burger King. the bread was stale. The chicken was so hard. You could barely eat it. The lettuce was wilted all the hell I asked for tomatoes to be added, and the skin on the tomatoes were so tough. I could barely bite through it. The french fries were so so which really Burger King's french fries have never been the perfect pic but I will not be going back. I don't know why it's so difficult for people to have a good restaurant or a good fast food place that we can just drive through. We need something fast as far as the service goes. The young man that helped me in the drive-through was very nice. seemed a little slow like he might've been high, but who knows maybe it was just him I can't speak of the ambience because I did not go inside. read more

Horrible service. Went through the drive thru and was told that "they're behind and can't take orders through the drive thru, but you can come inside and order...". This is the poorest management I've ever seen at a Burger King. There was NOONE in the drive through. How is it any more efficient if I park, come inside, and then order??? This place is always a disappointment. Being out in Melissa, there's not a ton of choices. This BK continuously has issues. Serving these to my kid today was ridiculous. They don't answer the phone. I'm not going back in traffic to get more inedible food. What a waste of $10, my time, my kids time, all the way around. Fries were half hot and half old mixed together. The 8 pc chicken fry was the only thing that were good and correct. I had to ask for the sauce that we ordered too, they only gave one of the 2 marinaras that we requested. Don't go here for ice cream ever either, it's always down like the neighboring restaurants on this row. One's down, they're all down. one of the most kindest gentleman that took my order at the window at the Burger King Melissa and he told me instead of ordering a drink and chicken fries together to order it as a meal and it would OK well he added it up as a drink and just a chicken fries and I let the lady know the Mexican lady that was very smart. I had to sit at the window with her for 10 minutes about some fries and she did not wanna give them to me as if I was trying to take them told her I would pay for them and she still there fussing and I just let her know it's not a big deal if he made a mistake and if I owe anything, I'll pay the difference when in reality like I told her at the end, you guys owe me some money because it was cheaper for me to get the meal then to get it even after she handed me the fries she's still is not the way you do business because I'll definitely go to the one on 380 from here. read more

Came here for the 2 for $4 croissants Ordered my two sandwiches and an orange juice. Price was $8.00 even per the voice on the speaker Wrong. $4+2.38 plus tax doesn't equal 8. So I went to the window and asked what he got for my order. It was right but the total was wrong. So I tell him the $4 plus orange juice doesn't equal 8. Where to begin. First let me say the first BK I went to was on Davis St. in Oak Cliff, Texas in 1959. I was 10 years old. When BK first opened here in Melissa, Texas it was a fiasco. It took 20 to 30 minutes to get your food. The order was wrong and cold. So, we stopped going. We noticed today that this BK was under new ownership so my wife and I said will let's try it again. That decision was the worst one for today. We ordered 2 simple meals, both were a Whopper Jr. with cheese, one with a large fry, the other with the medium fry. We were charged a la carte pricing. (WHY?) So, to bring this together we were charged $18.14 for 2 Whopper Jr's. with cheese, 2 medium drinks, 1 large fry and 1 medium fry. When my wife went up to ask why we were charged al carte, your entire staff came rushing to the counter as if try to intimidate her. She got no satisfaction. I went to the counter to get some salt and ketchup for the fries which had no salt on them. The condiments were not available to the customer. I was told to leave. Don't worry after we ate, we did leave never to come back again. New owner, Not looking good for you. read more

I love the Burger King chain, but this place is a disaster. We waited in the drive thru Sunday night for 45 minutes. We arrived to the window finally and all the staff was having a party inside, laughing and joking around. NONE of the employees were wearing masks!!! Once we paid, we found that they didn't give us our full order. We had to go into the lobby and then wait for them to make the last missing burger. No apology for the wait or the error in orders. Once we started eating, we found that both of our whoppers were cold. Fries were warm. I guess they let our cooked food sit for the 30 minute wait between ordering and getting to the window. I have not been to BK in several years because the food quality seemed to have deteriorated. I decided, after seeing some of theiir new items advertised, I would give them another try despite that CREEPY king character on the commercial. We were also hesitant because of the Yelp reviews and ratings, saying they could not seem to get orders right. I ordered the double 1/4 pounder king combo and my wife got the new chicken sandwich combo. We did not order any variations on our sandwiches. We got our order and for some reason decided to give me a double whopper instead of the 1/4 pounder king combo. I took it back up to the counter and due to customers placing orders I had to wait to tell them what happened. They said they would replace it, no apologizing for the mistake, after waiting several minutes I finally got my burger. They called me to the counter instead of bringing it to the table. Once again, no apology. I got the burger back just in time to eat it with my then cold fries. When we left after eating there were no customers and the employees were standing behind the counter talking and did not speak to us as we left. Also, most of the tables in the dining room were dirty. We had to wipe off our table when we got there. I also did not like the fact that condiments, napkins, etc. were not out and we had to go back to the counter and wait to get napkins. I will say, once we got the right food it was really good. I debated on the number of stars but due to the other issues, I had to go with 2 stars. If everything else had been just OK I would have given the rare 5 stars. We will probably try again but given the other choices nearby, we will not keep going if there is no improvement. read more

Terrable service constantly. Order on line but when I stopped while passing through pulling trailer they were closed. I knocked on door as I could not get through the drive through. This I'm not the first time this has happened. I started going to braums next door for the past year. BK use to say cafeteria was closed for covid now they say low staff. I noticed they were allowing folks in open more often while I was eating next door at braums so I decided to order ahead because they are so slow inside and now they say not enough employees to open the inside eating area. I'm completely done with BK. Won't come back. Treated me like crap for asking to get my food through the door rather than walking through the drive through. No wonder the parking lot is so empty. How has this place stayed open and covered costs of operations? I can't see it surviving. While I are in my truck I watched braums serve 5 times more customers. Not sure who runs this location but I have not been impressed on a single visit. No more opportunities from me. read more

They are rude and very upset when we started ordering on the app (which they never offer as an option) and the food is cold. Reviews are spot on! If I could give none I would. Only thing fresh we received were drinks. Chicken sandwiches were old! Easily (45-60 minutes old). Childs 6 piece old and stale, onion rings rock hard. Went back for refund and I see why that place is horrible! This place is atrocious. The food is Burger King Standard stuff. It is horribly run. They literally do not have enough staff to handle even the most minimal of customers. The person(s) taking the order does not listen, talks over you and often asks you to hold on. The order is only totally right about half the time. They are definitely not making my day awesome. (they say welcome to burger king, how can I make your day awesome. My criticisms are for visits over the course of time since they have opened shop. As a small town business, I hate to even write a bad review, but maybe they will see and improve. Today, my husband and I were there and it literally took us over 30 minutes in line before we got to the pickup window. Not exactly fast food. Often they even open a second line and then don't set it up to receive orders. They more often than not simply don't answer that second line (ask me how I know). It is merely ignored until that person either drives away or goes around the building and goes through the first line. read more

I can definitely see why this restaurant hasn't gotten very good reviews. The service is slow, and the food was undercooked and tasted bad. After waiting 25 minutes with only 3 cars in front of me at the drive thru, I got to the window and waited another 8 minutes before anyone came to the window to serve me. I wasn't sure anyone was even inside working as I didn't see a single person for that entire time. When I did finally start seeing people, they all acted very confused over who was supposed to work the window. When the girl eventually came to help me, she had to ask what my order was and brought me whatever I told her - she didn't check to see if there was even an order for that. I could have given her a totally different order (fortunate for them I'm an honest person). She kept apologizing for the wait, but from the other reviews, this is a recurring issue.
