Love braums bag o burgers!!! Love Brahms ice cream. It is unbelievable that they serve ice cream cones, Sundays, different types of desserts, and they don't try and rip you off. I can take everybody for ice cream cones and even get a sundae with it and be less than $13. I've tried different types of their food items and they are really good, I love their fries. It's really cool this place doubles as a small grocery store also. You can get stuff here if you're on the road. You can get snacks like a high end convenient store. Just an all-around really neat place. They don't have them everywhere. They keep them within a certain distance of their manufacturing facility because everything is made fresh and they will only go so far. I just think they need to make another manufacturing facility further south in Texas so that they can reach further and I can get a Brahms in my hometown. read more

We use this location weekly to buy milk for our kids. We went in today/Valentine's Day to get some ice cream for the fam. We walked in about two minutes before 5:00. After walking up to the ice cream freezer/display we were ignored for about 90 seconds. This seems like an eternity when no one is in front of you and no one is in line. We then watched what appeared to be the manager talking to someone by the door. He never acknowledged us either. I assume he was the manager/shift leader. He was wearing headphones and jeans. Then he high-fived 3-4 employees that came walking in for the 5 PM shift. Then we watch them all go stand in the back for another minute. Then my wife noticed none of them wash their hands and they all just start walking around ready to serve food. My wife, whose family has been in the restaurant business for 40 years, was disgusted. After they did not have her chocolate almond ice cream, we decided to go across the parking lot to Jeremiah's. It's really too bad. We try to support this little restaurant but service here is always lacking. Sometimes we get some great kids at the counter doing the right thing. Unfortunately management doesn't seem to be on top of their game here. These employees should walk straight to the sink and wash their hands before coming online to work. read more

I began my first job at a Braum's 30+years ago and my kids started their first jobs at Braum's there as well. The food was so good and the Braum's sauce was better than ever back then. Not sure what they did to the braums sauce, but it is no longer ketchup, mustard and pickle juice like it used to be. It tastes like Caínes sauce with black pepper in it.....not good in my opinion. I am writing more because this is the 2nd time my husband and i have went there and their mixes were way less than mediocre. They made the wrong flavor first. When they remade it, it was about an inch from the top of the cup with no candies in the mix, just on top of the frozen yogurt that it should have been mixed in. The restaurant was not clean at all, and out of the 11 employees i saw, there was one young lady with braces trying to do her best to fix the mess ups, clean the lobby, bus the tables etc....... And she was still trying to see what she could do to help me when i was trying to get them to remake the mix they messed up. Never got it correct, but i appreciate her caring to help read more

I dropped in to Braun's on 121 in Melissa late night. Ordered the junior burger combo- burger, fries and a small shake. Price was right but the food, not so much. Crinkle cut fries were old and tough. Burger was a mess the way it was built- all the garnish on one side. I had to rebuild it. It wasn't particularly hot either. The shake was good. read more

The food is average. It is fast food so you get what you expect. The ice cream is always good. Service is meh, real hit or miss. The issue is that this store is always dirty. It is sad to see how quickly it has declined. The bathrooms are filthy. The tables always have grease and food remnants. The floor is a slip-n-slide. The A2 milk is very good and it's nice to pop in a place and get the basics if you need. The ice cream selection is nice! And they always have deals on buying two. Two out of three burgers were wrong, the attendant in drive through sounded annoyed just to be there & the pick up window was very dirty. Also, why are you having people drive forward to wait for fries when there is not another soul in the drive thru. Just go a few more exists to the one in McKinney, they never disappoint. Good food and shakes at a great price. Normally there are no cleanliness issues. However this location seems to have a problem controlling the flies in the dining area. They don't seem to keep up with cleaning the tables after customers leave. The food is consistently good and service is good most of the time.
