There's something exciting & new in Locust...& it's the Home of the Whopper. (3.5 stars) Gave in to my hankering today - was a 20 minute wait (inside) for my beloved Whopper. Whopper was tasty & I was thrilled that they had my fave Coke Zero. Place has been slammed since it opened- no surprise there & my sympathies to the new branch of WhataBurger. The parking lot is a bit tougher to navigate with the full circle of cars circulating around the drive thru. Details: Nice new bathroom. Small seating area was clean-ish. (Tabletops not great, a little random floor trash around, otherwise fine). The staff seemed to be moving at a glacial pace & had developed that thousand yard stare- but how else to survive amidst a non-stop tsunami of customers since they'd opened?!! I'd say they're hanging in there & pacing themselves. Will be nice to revisit once things slow down over there a bit. read more

horrible. had to wait 30 minutes for a number 3 and a number 1. there were 4 other cars in total.

This is the worst BK location I've ever been to! It's had problems since the day it opened. Yesterday I grabbed breakfast and had a few issues with my order. The lady working the window got an attitude and huffed and puffed. I asked her what her name was and she said, "Jennifer". I asked if she was the manager and she said, "yes". I asked her who her manager was and she said, "I don't know". I said, "you're the manager and you don't know who your boss is?". She said, "yep". So fill out your surveys because there isn't a customer complain number, you have to do that online. That's why this manager acts the way she does, doesn't care about customer service and freely lies because she easily gets away with it. Hopefully her manager can be located and will make adjustments. read more

3/2/2025 1800 (6 PM). Pulled up to the drive thru. Voice says two words "I'm closed". I ask her to repeat that "I'm closed, nobody came in to work". I suggest turning off the signs so people know. "I don't know how". Just close this place PERMANENTLY. read more

I know what to expect from a Burger King, but I've never experienced how bad one can be. This one might be the worst ever. Got the whopper Jr's special earlier. No kidding, it had a ridiculous, comical amount of mayonnaise and some lettuce. It was almost inedible. Was there even a burger in there? Not that we tasted. It was one of those experiences where you wonder about the person that made it and how they got the job. Disgusting. Awful. Laughable. . Still can't believe how bad it actually was. Monday Nov 4th. Twice now I have tried to order 2 double Whoppers with no cheese and no onions. I am very allergic to onions so I always tell them, "Food allergy". After waiting in line for over 30 minutes I was given 2 Whoppers with onions and cheese. As a dialysis patient diarrhea can be very serious (which is what happens if I were to eat raw onions). Witnessed the drive-thru worker having a conversation with the car in front of me. They had a puppy. I myself like puppies however, you should not proceed to then hold the puppy and bring the puppy through the drive-thru window into the restaurant. I was willing to overlook this until they gave me the wrong order. I went inside to get my food were the same drive-thru worker had my order ready for me. Then with an attitude asks how much I paid. "Because if I paid less than what this meal is worth, I need to pay the difference." Which makes sense until you realize it's entirely the fault of the worker for getting the orders mixed up in the first place. I tell her how much I paid which was $0.20 cents more than my meal. Then snarkly she says "do you want me to refund the $0.20 ?" Like damn I just want the food that I ordered so no I declined getting back the 2 dimes that I could find on the ground on my way back to my car. Drive Thru service here has been abysmal since day one and The customer service has not gotten better. I'm not coming back to this location. So disappointed in this new restaurant. Went on a Saturday evening the drive through was backed up so much we went inside and it was just as bad. There were only 4 people working and the manager was doing drive thru and front cash. She was at her wits end but taking it all in stride. She was constantly apologizing to everyone for the wait. She WAS doing the best she could. As she finally handed us our order I asked why there were only 4 people working on a Saturday night with a new store she explained that the heads up will only allow her schedule 4 people. She has more that want to work, but she's not allowed to schedule more. We continued to watch her struggle to fill orders in a timely manner and watched the customers some were getting ticked off. It took about 30 minutes for us to get ours. I forgot to mention that one employee making the sandwiches was a new person who had to ask her a lot of questions which she tried to take her time with them and explain things along the way. We really felt for her and both me and my sister just wanted to go behind the counter and help her out. You could see she was a good employee and hid her frustration very well and it's a shame, she probably won't stay long due to this kind of work environment. Shame on burger king for making your crew on a new store so thin that not only the customers are paying for it and the employees are rethinking their job choice. This will unfortunately come back on your business when customers pass you by and your good employees leave. read more
