Bacon Caesar Angus, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways...
This BK is new. It looks awesome from the outside, because it's in a beautiful building, and it's next door to Maccies, which had a facelift a couple of years ago so they look all spangly in their fast-foody, juxtaposed goodness.
We came here for lunch on a busy Saturday, and it was, in hindsight, prolly a mistake. There's no proper queueing space, so people were straggled right back to the door in a haphazard manner, disrupting people eating, and the staff were absolutely mental. Seriously. One girl had to leave her till to get a drink of Fanta because she was stressed. Her line manager was all shouty and going 'It's HIGH PRESSURE, you know, this job, HIGH PRESSURE, be quick with your drink, VERY QUICK', and it was all a bit surreal. The girl who took my order got it a bit wrong but it ended up in my favour cos I got a massive drink instead of a little one (I did point it out, so's I could pay the difference - I'm good me - but she said not to bother).
It was also pretty grubby - we sat upstairs and there was pop all over the table and window sill. And the man at the table next to us belched really loudly and didn't say 'pardon me', which I thought was rude, but maybe it's because he didn't feel like he was in a place that required manners, on account of it was grubby and messy? I don't know.
The food though - that was well tasty. Nomnomnom.
In short(ish), this BK needs to:
1) Get some better staff who can cope under HIGH PRESSURE
2) Sort out the queues
3) Get more cleaning people in
4) Put up 'please do not burp' signs
The end. read more
