I use to go drive thru but have recently changed to eat in and the experience is completely different. They can still get the orders wrong so I've taken to typing it out ahead of time. Everyone treats me nice though. I have to give it 4 stars now that I've moved inside. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This Burger King is terrible. Food is dry AND cold 90% of the time and they NEVER get your order right. Avoid this place if possible. You pay for something you WONT get. I ordered my son a chicken nugget kids meal and only got the fries and toy.. read more

For the second time in a month I have waited a ridiculously long time in the drive thru. Today it was a 19-minute wait for a Big Fish sandwich I order online. I asked the driver ahead of me how long he'd been waiting; he said "15 minutes." There was one car ahead of me and three behind me and I couldn't leave. I wondered if an employee had been dispatched to shoot a steer or catch fish. I decided to call the store. The person who answered apologized saying, "It's been a real crazy/busy day and I have to catch up on my paperwork." Paperwork?!? I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I won't be back. The only other fast food chain in town is Taco Bell. I'll drive the 15 miles to Kernville for a better burger that comes with good customer service. read more

Absolute trash!! I live here and I'm not normally surprised but tonight they were awful! Rude, the orders were both wrong and they smashed low carb whopper into a Cinnabon container and left things off and my other whopper that was no mayo had mayo all over it but looks like they tried to scrap it off!! Looks disgusting and I'm not eating it!!!!!!!! read more

i went bepre 9:30 to get dinner and both the inside and drive thru were "closed" with the drive thru blocked off, yet another car in there?

Came to visit our aunt and she wanted thethe whopper special, so we ordered the double Texas burger to share. I was impressed birth on the size and the taste. I would order again! The service was not as should be, especially for a small town. read more

Burger King - Texas Double Whopper - Burgers Near Me - Lake Isabella, California

They refused service to the local Fire Fighters during a fire in Bodfish. Disgusting behavior to turn away hungry men fighting to save our community. I'LL NEVER RETURN. read more

The restroom sticks the staff is rude they neglect doordash orders so now driver's won't get the orders if they do they wait excessively every time the buns can be molded or have flies the roof leaks probably has toxic mold and watch for hair read more

Smells like sewage when u go through the drive through and their food gave me the runs

The dining room is always dirty, the food is too salty , seems like a hangout place for homeless on occasion although the two later statements are probably out of their control. I love the manager woman there, she won't take crap from anyone ! read more

Worst service and food. Went to the Lake for Crappie fishing and Mind You there is NO MCDONALD'S in Lake Isabella. So Burger King it was. The food was ordered through the drive thru and was cold , SMASHED and came with HAIR in 2 of our 6 breakfast sandwiches. Coffee was cold and it was only 7 a.m. This place will also be Closed Soon. A Town that can't support a MCDONALD'S says a LOT. Bring your own Breakfast from BAKERSFIELD or Home. read more

When I visit family in Kern I stop off at this Burger King. I usually only stop off when I'm leaving or everything else is closed. Usually get me a whopper and fries for the road. I honestly haven't had a bad experience at this location. read more

Charge for three meals, only got one. WTH... I ordered one chicken meal, he charged me for two, he claimed he deleted that order, and then I received my order of one meal. I just checked my bank statement and two charges are on my statement. Way to go, NOT IMPRESSED WITH THIS BURGER KING..... read more

I stopped at BK #5533 today in Lake Isabella. Only fast food burger joint in town. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 2 double cheeseburger. Paid at the drive through and was off. Reached in the bag only to find 3 burgers not the 4 I had ordered. W T F !!! Grade school kids can count to 4. This is the reason why i rarely stop at BK read more

The food is basic. Service has never been a problem. Ambiance in a drive thru? Don't think so!

They work hard, but are obviously overworked. During the pandemic, they really did try when a lot of other businesses weren't.

I order 5 orders of the 2 for 6 dubel crosonwitchs add bacon 10 sandwiches 20 sausage patties add bacon to all of them easy not here I received 5 sandwiches not a single one with 2 sausage patties employees are all to high to count to 2 and don't take there jobs seriously I repetitively asked that the was 10 sandwiches with 20 pieces of sausage total as this is the second time in a row if you have to eat here don't expect to get what you order read more

I love this burger king it's absolutely the best! Delicious food good service! I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely the best Burger King I have ever been to by far. The manager is very good here too looks like he runs a tight ship here! read more

Absolute joke. No whoppers, "for the 2nd time" no salt on fries, then I had to ask for salt, like its an expensive garnish or something. Avoid if you can. Its also not so fast food, 15 min wait. read more

to say this is the worst fast food restaurant on Earth is too kind. i only gave it one star because it wouldn't let me write a review otherwise....It's sad that this is the only place you can get a hamburger for under $10 within 40 miles. For not just days or weeks, but for MONTHS, if you ask for a milk shake or ice cream cone, they tell you their machine is down. Twice we asked for coffee and they said they couldn't do that either.. So yesterday I was there to get an egg-normous breakfast butrrito., I was third car in line.I waited over 10 minutes just to get to nthe order intercom, where I waited another 2 minutes before an employee finally asked for my order. Then I was told they were out of tortillas and couldn't do it..... If you are in Lake Isabella and desperate enopugh for a burger to go to this dump, you might want to pack a lunch to eat while you're waiting in the drive-through line. And don't get a Whopper. They're so sloppy with dressing that the bun is saturated and it looks and tastes like something they pulled out of the dumpster. The cheap burgers are more bare bones and more edible. Not saying really good..... Did I mention rude employees? read more

The reason that I am leaving a good review is because of how they are handling things during the pandemic. They are all masked and they have no contact with the customers. They use trays to give you your food and a bucket to take your money. At least there is that, so they are doing pretty okay as far as that goes. Thank you for trying to keep things safe during the pandemic. read more

Awful service and false advertising. Big signs with special items but never have them, sorry sold out every time. Ordered tacos, waited 22minutes at 4:30 when place was empty, have a 1/2 lunch break!!! asked for my taco sauce, they don't carry taco sauce??. Last time our family visits this location. read more

Yeah this place sucks I constantly have to get my food re done and the fact that they NEVER COOK THE BACON is gross it's already pre cooked says the manager how hard is it took cook eggs and bacon the right way? Apparently very hard cuz they never get it right read more

This is literally the best Burger King I've ever been to. I hated the food before but this is the only one that's been consistently good. Sometimes the wait is long but idc they're really trying and hustling in there. I never liked Burger King before but since it's the only place to get a dollar burger I decided to try it again and was so glad I did. Still won't go to another location or think "hey maybe I want some Burger King in Bakersfield today" (always gonna pick McDonald's lol but the burgers suck there too so), but whenever I want good hot cheap fast food in lake Isabella I'll go to these guys first. Establishment is super clean as well. read more

In less than a month or so, we went from 'fresh made/made to order' to 'must have been sitting out all day'. The last couple of visits, the bread was dry as hell, lettuce limp or nearly rotten, onions with no flavor, sour pickles, and over-ripe tomatoes. Meat tasted as if it was sitting under the warmer for hours and was dry. Fries were clearly 'recycled' from earlier in the day, we're not fresh, and looked like they attempted to retry them to warm them back up for the order. We we're asked to help them 'cheat' the clock by backing up and then pulling back forward so their drive thru timer would reset. The chicken nuggets weren't freshly made either, but at least tasted as if they weren't repurposed for nearly as long as everything for the burgers were. Asked for no veggies except lettuce and they decided to only put about 5 or 6 shreds of lettuce on the sandwich for excluding the other veggie's. Visited the Lake Isabella store before, a couple months back, and it was NOTHING like this...EXCELLENT food and service! Don't know what's happened but the only thing good about the last two visits was the friendliness of the staff....but it stops there! Understaffed or no, the food shouldn't be so dang awful! Lately, this food wasn't fit to hand a homeless person! If I served someone food like that, I wouldn't be in business. They should be ashamed of serving food like that when people are spending their hard earned money. Maybe we went when it was the closing shift, instead of earlier in the day like before. We were eating dinner, though. Clearly the closing shift takes no care in quality and serves food that's not properly stored and rotated. Also, the site says they're open until 11pm, another says 9pm, but the sign on the door says 6pm, including the drive-thru....? Maybe that's the reason for the dried out, soggy, or nearly rotten lunch leftovers at dinner time??? Not cool, and won't be going back, and do NOT desire anyone contacting me wanting to comp us or anything...just take this experience and improve your restaurant for other/future customers! read more

Well...they're better than McDonalds.. The people that work there are nice.. Never really have had any issues there.. The ketchup dispenser pisses me off sometimes.. Eww read more

The absolute WORST experience in a drive threw. My husband and I went threw the Burger King drive threw, we have been here before and a few weeks ago they were understaffed so much that the new ChKing wasn't even available because they couldn't take the time, this time we waited in the drive threw for TWENTY MINUTES now we had only 2 people infront of us when we pulled in, 20 min later, one car at the order box and they had not ordered yet. By then we were already running late and so upset that we just drove out. We will never be going there ever again. Wrong orders, late meals, late to take your, awful. read more

Just like the other reviews say, this place is horrible! The store manager Aniya is extremely rude and should be fired! My boyfriend and I went through the drive-thru and ordered $23 worth of food. A few burgers, fries, and a meal. We asked for 1 ranch sauce and 1 bbq sauce. The gal working says she will have to charge for the bbq sauce. Lol what? She says any additional sauces cost extra. I ask, "So I can only have sauce with one set of fries but not the other?" She says the fries do not come with sauce. I just spent 23 dollars at Burger King and you won't give me 1 bbq sauce? WOW. So I tell them Forget it, cancel my order. I ask for a receipt showing proof of the cancelled transaction and they say they can't print me one because they dont have a printer. Then how did you print my original receipt?? After asking for the store manager, wretched Aniya comes to the window to YELL AT US that they dont have a printer and "it is on it's way up from Bakersfield right now". I ask her, "Would you leave without a receipt?" And she just yells, "There's nothing I can do, it's not my fault!" At this point I ask for the corporate number and she points to it somewhere in the window that I could not see. I ask her again, "What is that number?" And SHE YELLS IT AT ME, lol. All she could do was show me the screen of the cancelled transaction (which I took a photo of after having to get out of the vehicle). It's very unsafe to have a customer exit their vehicle in a drive-thru by the way. I told her this was all over 1 bbq sauce packet and as I was driving away she literally came through the window and yelled at us as we were leaving! BK could catch the action on their security footage of the drive thru window Feb 4th, 2020 at approximately 530pm. Her attitude was beyond nasty and I am appalled anyone would let her work there as a manager, she needs to be terminated for rude behavior to customers. This is THE WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD AT A FAST FOOD ESTABLISHMENT! DO. NOT. COME. HERE.!!! read more

My brother and I were headed up to my parents' place, and wanted something from here. We decided the drive-thru would be faster than going. Oops. Burger King isn't even NEAR what it used to be!!! Ever since they had to pay their employees more per hour not only did the service go to SHIT but the food did too!! The past few times I've been there and that means everyone of those times the crap I was served you wouldn't even eat in JAIL!! They use their oil for frying foods for weeks at a time before changing to fresh oil. Try looking at your crispy chicken sandwiches next time and you'll see how dark they are. They're supposed to be golden brown (not dark brown!) like they have been the last few times I've been there. I don't remember the last time I had something completely FRESH there!! The cheese on your cheeseburgers used to be melted. Not any more! Another tactic they use to save money. Saves time and energy not to use the microwave. I mean, who wants a plastic cheeseburger anyway?!! Have it your way, MY ASS!!! If I had it my way I'd go back there and make my own burger!! Or better yet not go there at all!! Bring McDonalds back!! Burger King sucks!! read more
