Soooo yes whoever the new manager is got this place together. I went the other day to get breakfast, and the customer service was amazed very polite. I had to ask the lady in the drive-through was she knew because I've been here before and the customer service was horrible and they were rude. she told me they're under new management and everything is being ran different now. Let's just say I will be one back. read more

This restaurant just opened back up and I had a very pleasant experience. The staff is much more friendly than before and I got my food fast and hot. The inside was very clean as well. read more

very friendly team. fast service hot food was served fast for a nice price. Can't wait for the inside to open back up

Just slow. I understand that they are in a part of town with a lot of industrial places and lunch rush can get very hectic but to wait 30 mins for a hamburger is crazy. Just slow that's all. Positive I'd say is they still give out the crowns and food was warmish. read more

The service here is horrible. If you don't mind waiting 20 minutes just for one burger, then go right ahead I stopped in here two weeks ago on a Sunday. Ordered a whopper with cheese with no onions and waited 20 minutes for it maybe more. Then, when I said something to the young man at the counter, he got upset with me. Didn't even offer anything like a free drink or a free fry. At least something for the inconvenience of waiting 20+ minutes. read more

Great general manager, clean store, friendly people. Really nice visit and good experience.

I'm not sure what it is about every single Burger King but this one is not exception to the long waits. This East Chicago location in particular had me waiting the longest I ever have; maybe 40 minutes in the drive thru. I have had to wait 20-30 minutes other times as well even if there are only 1-3 cars. The food is sub par always but still has that BK taste I sometimes crave. They are not very professional or friendly here service wise; it's more of just a transaction with someone who doesn't have good social skills or manners. read more

This is the Worst Burger King ever. They don't even like to take your order. I am going to look up the owner of the property and call them personally to tell them what's is going on there. So if you work at this Burger King you need to get it together or your going to need a new job by the end of the week. read more

Worst place EVER!! Ghetto ASL, 20 minute wait to take the order, 45 mins to wait for food after paying, then walk into the place to get my refund, didn't even get acknowledged. No sense of common courtesy nor manners. The workers are wey rude, even the manager, asked him for name and number of the General .anger and all I got was a name, Tereka. Also, by the time ya get the food, it is COLD!!! It is a very badly managed restaurant...sadly, it is the closest Burger King near us. I will go to another city to get my whoppers from now on. This is a ghetto, disgusting place read more

Burger King is my favorite fast food restaurant. I love love love their spicy chicken sandwiches, onion rings with zesty sauce & also the strawberry milkshake. Milk shake is always thick & with the whip cream it makes it very creamy. Food is always fresh & they get the order right the first time. read more

Definitely the worst fast food experience I've ever had. There were only 4 cars in front of me & I spent over an hour in line, and another half an hour waiting on my order that was cold & with over half of my items missing. The employees were super rude & didn't even have the decency to apologize for the long wait. I won't ever be back again. If you can avoid this place, do so at all costs! read more

they are so rude here we waiting for more than 20 min and we missing food and when we told employee something she started screaming at us.

When you're the only customer there you would think they can get your order right. Ordered the new honey BBQ strips only they forgot the honey BBQ, they put only a couple splatters and sent me on my way. When you are in the drive through check everything! Thoroughly!!! read more

Burger King - New honey BBQ chicken strips...probably would've been good if they actually had honey BBQ on them! - Fast Food Near Me - East Chicago, Indiana

Slow is a understatement, 18 minute wait is not fast food. What a crap hole. Food was ok but not worth it.

First time I went here I walked in and I was like ooookkkkaaayyyyy. This is the only Burger King I've been to that was different from the rest. The space inside was enough breathing room, and it was clean..no stickly tables in sight. I haven't been back since I stopped eating beef (Health reasons). But the kitchen is clean and everything is done in time and you don't wait long for food. read more

Burger King - a view of the outside of the restaurant - Fast Food Near Me - East Chicago, Indiana

Most people that work at fast food places do not take their job seriously and most of the time dont care if they get fired. Unless you plan on moving up and becoming a manager. Management should take that into consideration when hiring. So I blame myself for not checking the bag before I leave not the workers ,and I blame myself for loving chicken sandwiches and whoppers. I will never cheat on you again Mcdonalds. read more

Fast food is supposed to be fast. Bottom line. That doesn't seem to be the case for this Burger King. I went here the other day for a quick, tasty meal, but was greatly disappointed. There was no line when I first walked in so immediately I gave the lady my order. She understood everything I said, but took a while when sorting out my change (clearly a rookie). As I waited for my meal, I realized that I had already drank a full cup of Sprite. At this point I was beginning to become irritated largely because I was on the verge of filling myself up with carbonated beverages rather than the meal they promised to serve me. When my meal finally was ready she asked if I wanted ketchup. I told her yes and was given two scrawny packages of ketchup, enough for about a fry and a half. She might as well have told me that they were out of stock. The next thing I noticed was that my meal was completely wrong. I ordered three BK Stackers, but was instead served 3 regular burgers. The meat on the burgers was so small though I felt as if I was consuming just bread and ketchup. As far as restaurant cleanliness and sanitary goes, this Burger King is very clean and well kept. But because of the awful service, mistaken orders, and terrible food quality, I give this Burger King two stars. I think this Burger King needs a new slogan; "BK, have it our way" read more

This is truly disappointing, I don't like giving a place in my home town a bad review but it has been long overdue. This BK is pitiful! My wife and I drive to the Hammond BK to eat breakfast occasionally, that place is a world apart from the one in E.C. We VERY occasionally go to this one but when we do, the order is incorrect! About 95% of the time and it's been that way for years! We're not talking about a packed place either, I'm talking about two or three diners, including the drive thru. The restaurant was renovated about a year ago, it looks way better than it did before, but the surroundings doesn't make up for the TERRIBLE service. We've never been to a more consistently bad restaurant than this BK. The only reason we go there is because we keep thinking that it will be better the next time and we want to patronize in our own community. In my opinion, for a place to be bad for this long, it's an upper management issue, someone just doesn't care enough to actually go there to make sure the local management is trained properly and the results show in the employees. It gives me NO pleasure to leave this review. read more

Customer service, GARBAGE...food..COLD. I was pulled up for an order of cookies..that was a suggestive sell, but they weren't ready, so why suggest them. The girl in the drive thru kept cutting me off before I finished my order..JUST terrible, but what could you expect.. THIS IS EAST CHICAGO. read more
