It's messy so eat it with the fork and knife they gave you, which is my mistake. Everything just tastes better when you eat a hot dog without utensils. The paddie melt is also good as well. The rosemary garlic fries had good flavor and same with the onion rings. They happened to just bring us out the loaded onion rings so we were pleasantly surprised. Service is friendly. Very nice place. The portions were actually loaded because normally I wouldn't think I'd be full from the food but it was really filling. I give it a four out of five because it didn't blow me away. This was our first visit to 8 Oz Burger while passing through on our way back to Texas…read more We were seated right next to another group, practically back-to-back, even though there was plenty of open seating. Not sure why customers need to be seated that close together. Our waitress arrived about three minutes later and took our drink order. Drinks came out in about five minutes. She then said she'd "be right back," but it took another ten minutes before she returned to take our food order. We ordered nachos as an appetizer along with wings and burger and fries. The appetizer took about ten minutes, and when it arrived, the waitress apologized that the rest of our food wasn't ready yet. That comment didn't make much sense because appetizers aren't supposed to come out with the main course. It actually seemed like she had been holding the nachos until the entrées were almost ready because they weren't as hot as they should have been. Less than five minutes later, our burger and fries arrived. Nachos are a . Burger and fries cook that made my burger use the ends of an onion for my burger. That was not good. Must use the center of an onion and cut it to where they are nice big rings at least 2 or 3 rings of onion. Pickles the same. See the pictures. You'll see what I'm talking about. Wings and fries where awesomely crispy . The restaurant had three servers on the floor, but after our food was delivered, our waitress disappeared. It was close to 30 minutes before we saw her again. She apologized and said she had been busy with back-of-the-house duties. By then we were finished eating, so we asked for the check and a soda to go since I never received a refill. The food was the highlight. Except the nachos. Tasted like something I can do myself at home. The wings were excellent, and the burger and fries were very good. Unfortunately, the customer service and cleanliness took away from the experience. Our table felt sticky, the floor around us was dirty, and service was slow and inattentive throughout the meal. Food: 4/5 Customer Service: 1/5 Cleanliness: 1/5 Would I stop again? For the burger, fries, and wings, yes. Original fry sauce is the best, and the jalapeño sauce isn't too bad either. They also offer frozen custard, which is great as well. The service has always been nice every time I've gone. To add to all of this, they have the story of Freddy, the founder, all around the restaurant. On Mondays, active servicemen can get a discount (Military Mondays).
