OMG.... I have to be honest! I used the BK app for pick-up & no "line" when arrived to get my order. Food quality was great 5* BUT lack of friendly welcoming service was unacceptable & a 0*! I ordered the "Wrap Trio" with lettuce/pickles/onions but only got "pickles" on 1 & tomato on 2 & no onion on any as ordered! UGH Granted "she" seemed to be the only employee available so she did prep/service window. read more

Today is 2/28/23 and this bk is still closing the lobby, they say it's due to staff shortages so you can order through the drive thru. Unfortunately the guys who drive big trucks for work like me can't fit in the drive thru nor walk thru the drive through to order. Before I wrote this review I tried to be understanding but it's 2023 this has been a problem for truck drivers for awhile. When there could be a better alternative than closing the lobby. McDonald's would never do that, instead they would only have you order from a kiosk in the lobby. So I guess the answer to this problem would be invest in better technology so we can all eat when you're short staffed. read more

This place is trash! Orders are always wrong at the drive thru, even years before the pandemic. They close at 5 pm now because they can't hold their staff for regular hours (And don't give me any pathetic COVID excuses). Dining area is closed off and on. Their always running out of something every other visit. Blaine deserves a lot better from a franchise like this. Time for something better like Wendy's, McDonald's, ect. If you have driven up to Vancouver, you know that border customs back into the US can be a bit of a pain. Specifically, the border crossing wait time. I visited Vancouver last weekend and spent a hour waiting to cross the border at Pacific Highway which was as pleasant as the DMV. By the time you get through, you will probably feel hungry or perhaps need to take a tinkle. Fortunately, this BK is conveniently located at the first US exit in Blaine. Nothing special about this BK. Typical store, though the interior is nicer than ones I visited many years ago. This was my first BK visit in about 8 years. Just picked up an iced vanilla coffee here for the drive back to Seattle. Service was as expected. This location has its fair share of Canadian customers. FYI for Canadians, is that this location does not honor meal promotions across the border. If you need to grab a bite or looking for a short rest stop after crossing the border, this BK is a good spot to go due to its location. read more

This location is very convenient to get to, right by the boarder and has spots to accomodate RV's and big rigs. The parking lot is tight however so if you are a large vehicle pay attention. The parking lot is designed to flow one way it looks like, turn left as soon as you pull in (follow the drive thru sign). I pulled up to the drive thru and my order was taken right away by a very pleasant voice (sorry I am bad with names) then instructed to go to the second window. When I got to the window the girl pleasantly greeted me again and repeated my total. I got my drink and food and was off in less than 5 minutes. My food was accurate and tasted fresh. I appreciate what seemed to be genuine smiles and not forced or scripted pleasantries. read more

I think the food was par with any other fast food place but there's three reasons for my four star rating: they have sweet tea here (for those who know, that's not the same as iced tea), the place is clean, it's rarely busy so you never have to wait. If you're looking for a quick meal before you head to Canada, I'd pick those place over any other place close to the border. read more

We went through the Burger King drive through on our way back to Canada. I thought I would try the chilli dog. That thing was nasty! The hotdog was burned, and the chilli was a second thought. DON'T GET THE HOT DOG! The second complaint is that they could only accept cash or VISA. No debit. Maybe this is something to do with their own banking system, but considering they are on the direct route to the truck crossing at the Canada-US border, that seems to be rather backward. The fries were good, but considering it was take out - we were given no ketchup or even offered ketchup, and thus what could have been tasty fries were dry. read more

Went by Burger King in Blaine WA tonight. Thought I would try the new hot dog. Ordered the hot dog with onions on the side. Guess what. They can't do onions on the side. Can you believe that? As another reviewer advised, check your order after you receive it! I love their service and the food is usually hot, but a couple of times I didn't get what I ordered, such as coffee-- they needed to make a fresh pot and told me to pull up and wait for them to bring it out to me, but they never came out. After 10 mins I had to go in to ask about it and she apologized, as she forgot. I was on a 30 min. lunch break, but had to inhale the food and skip the coffee as it would've been too hot to gulp down. I live right down the street so we visit it pretty regularly, and although the food is on par with what you would expect from the brand- I have never once gone there and gotten the correct order. I arrived approx 8 pm the floor in front of the soda machine was pretty well covered with bits of paper from straws etc and the area in general hadn't seen a cleaning in a while. I asked who the manager was and this young fellow stepped up and I couldn't believe that him and every other employee required clean clothes, this is disgusting, but I had noticed it with the day staff also. I have been going to this Burger King for the last couple months about twice a week or so. The staff are very friendly and the customer service is never lacking. But the food is consistently disappointing I don't expect much from cheap fast food, with that though; I do expect HOT food. The Burger Buns are never toasted, and with mustard and ketchup on them it is like trying to mow down a wet diaper.(This doesn't happen at Bellingham Burger King or any other I have been to anywhere) The Burgers really are not enjoyable at all on a cold soggy bun. I called the Blaine store and suggested they toast the buns and the manager said they do, but the toaster is so old it burns the buns or doesn't cook them at all, the manager said the owner is too cheap to buy them a new one. Burger King's Corporate office stopped the microwaving of their burgers for some reason. Which in turn , has Burger King serving cold food. Which is not only a health hazard, but brings the quality of food down. (That issue is on Corporate) Overall I enjoy my visits at this store, but ah, if any other fast food burger joint was to come into town I'd go here a lot less. Nasty place! Multiple staff members friends hanging out in the dinning room area. Disgusting flies on the ketchup dispenser. Fries were hard and tasted awful. Staff was pleasant and did good job. Can I give zero stars? My order in the drive thru was taken at 6:24, only one car in front of me. I didn't leave BK until 6:53. Yeah, sat in line for that long. When I finally got to the window, no "sorry about the wait," all she said was my total. My food was already sitting there waiting. Which one would think, great I can just go. But really all that meant was cold food. The fries were luke warm at best. And then I didn't even get my whole order. I had to circle around the parking lot and go inside to get the rest of my food. Two of my orders of fries were put in the bag upside down. This place goes even further down hill every single day. We have never had good service here and only once in a blue moon, do they actually get the order right. The only reason they stay in business is due to absolute lack of competition and idiots like me that continue to go there cause there's no other fast food available in Blaine. My grand daughter and I went thru the drive thru to grab a quick bite to eat before her dance recital st the school. Whenever the server handed me my drink, it ended up spilling all over me, my door, steering wheel and center console. I was speechless needless to say. The young man just looked at me and I know he gave a smirk then said," would you like some napkins?" I replied yes, I don't want to sit in this. He handed me about 5!!! Napkins!!! I asked for another drink with a drink holder. Not once did he apologize, nothing!!! I pulled forward to the garbage can and wiped up as much as I could with the few napkins he gave me and some I had in the car. I had to return home to change my clothes and jacket because it also went on my down coat. The evening started out bad, food was cold by the time I changed, but ended nicely after watching my grand daughters dance recital.
