Asked for hot sauce and they only had sriracha, but it was still an improvement. We contemplated getting a dessert to split as well, especially a lamington since we were in the land down under, but decided against it after digging into our food. Aroma's gets the job done when you need caffeine, but if I had a choice I'd go somewhere else.

I asked if they had anything with lettuce and tomato and they said "only in the summer". I then asked if I could have some ham with my salad and was told it would cost $2 extra for a single round slice of processed ham from the sandwich counter. A disagreement then ensued between 3 members of staff as to whether meat in a salad was included in the price, A small round slice of processed ham was then plopped in my container as a special offer. The salads are unrecognisable - everything is buried in a pool of mayonnaise so I had to ask what each one was. So the result was being $10 poorer and trying to wade through a swamp of mayonnaise. And of course I thought I would eat it in the park to find my take-away mayo swamp did not include a fork or a napkin. Went back to work to try to eat it, and after a few forkfulls of overpowering vinegar mayonnaise, have thrown the lot in the bin.

The pub and restaurant area had a very friendly and laid-back vibe, and the beer prices are very reasonable--but there is a limited selection on-tap (mostly Boag's). The wine prices in particular are very good, and they offer $10 pitchers of certain cocktails (like Long Islands if you're feeling dangerous). Quite possibly the best souvlakis I have ever eaten. The bread wrap (I'm not actually sure what…read morethis is called) are always toasted/cooked (also not sure what the correct term for this is but it's on a grill top) perfectly. The meat is always well topped and I'm sure some people would say its too much but it's better than not enough. The lamb is really delicious, succulent and juicy and has always been when I eat it. The chicken is the same, but I actually ask the man who is working there to shave off the crunchier looking chicken from their rotisserie because that's how I prefer the chicken souvlakis. Salad is fantastic and tastes fresh. The garlic yogurt/sauce is also perfect and exactly what I would expect. The amount depends on who does the salad/sauce/cheese but usually the lady who works there puts a decent amount on there but the older gentleman tends to hold back on it a little bit. Their "fish and chip shop" is a nice extra if you want to get some hot chips or something with your souvlaki but I've ever only gotten cheese and bacon potato cakes which I assume come frozen so its not really worth mentioning but it was nice anyway. The souvlakis were 9$ but an extra 50c for cheese.
