Great little Norman Rockwell-Esque burger joint a mile off the interstate. Obviously a local favorite. A squad from the local football team, a couple of cowboys and a pair of old fishermen with their bass boat parked outside dropped by while we were there. Menu was of course burger centric. They did thin patty burgers vs thick patties which is my preference. You could double up on the meat and add bacon, cheese and all the fixings. Burgers were fresh and cooked to order. My buddies ordered chili on their burgers and they came out smothered on a plate. Fork and knife required to eat those beauties. Great fried okra and fried Onion rings were also made to order. They are insanely overpriced!! We stopped in on a road trip. Ordered 2 burgers, 1 order of fries, 1 order of onion rings, and 2 drinks. The staff is always pleasant and ready to serve you. The burgers are amazing they remind me of the same burgers I ate there whenever I was a kid even though they've had to go thru some changes due to the catastrophic flood in late spring 2019. Hotel but now they're back and the food is just as great as before with a bigger dining area. The burgers are perfectly grilled along with the buns the shakes are creamy and hit the spot every time and the onion rings are to die for. It's a MUST EAT when you Cruise down Highway 100 or Highway 64. Headed cells on the Muskogee Turnpike to I-40 or if you're rolling across country on I-40 if it's Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 7 PM you must stop and give your taste buds a trip to the past and if you've never had a burger this great then hold on! The most wonderful people serving fresh burgers in a variety of ways, hot plates beef, chicken & fish and really good fries (chili cheese fries recommended but if you're alone, order a half order!). The fact that you have two fingers and a phone doesn't make you a restaurant critic.

First of all, this place is waaay overpriced!! A small, single-patty burger, a shake, and fries are 14 - $15!! On top of that, the service isn't great; a friend of mine tried to order a grilled chicken sandwich but got chicken strips instead:/ And on top of that the guy taking orders wasn't very nice but was quite forgetful. When you do get your burger, it is really quite unimpressive- small and not very filling, with too many onions and very little meat and cheese. Overall it just isn't worth it- go to McDonalds or any other burger chain instead. read more

Just a few minutes north of I-40, this unassuming place serves a great deluxe bacon burger and awesome chili cheese curly Q fries. We stopped at the Burger Barn at about 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. They were swamped, which we took as a good sign, but service and food were a bit slow. It is a local hamburger joint - nothing more, nothing less. The onion rings and shakes are homemade. read more
