I ordered a large New York style pizza with extra cheese,pepperoni, and bacon. The pizza was really good however it seems like the extra cheese was not added but it's all good it was still awesome. I also ordered an Italian sandwich which has provolone cheese,pepperoni, green pepeppers, ham,banana peppers, and onions. This sandwich was pretty good for $7. We choose to do a pickup orders and it was just coming out of the over when we showed up. The employees were very nice and and made sure to double check our order. We didn't go inside the restaurant but we did look inside and it appeared to be clean and kept up with. I'm totally happy with our visit and look forward to trying a different item.

Well - I bet those are good - and I did (for the record) request a notification from him when his mom makes the next batch so that I can make a purchase! That being said / I'm still wanting a good tamale. I decided to go to George's because they offer fantastic desserts made just like the ones my mom, grandmothers and aunts all make. I thought they may also have tamales! Well what do you know - they do offer both! I ordered and promptly disposed of the tamale spread (as it's called on the menu)! It was delicious - several meaty tamales covered in a homemade chili sauce with cheese and a generous helping of chopped onion (optional for others - but not for me). The tamale spread was awesome! I had ordered a piece of chocolate cake for my appetizer (not unusual for me). I finished that piece of cake after I finished the tamale spread. I washed all this down with some splashes of Louisiana Hot Sauce on the tamale spread and a large glass of ice water that was generously refilled by the fantastic server, Heather! While waiting for that order, they started us with a bucket of peanuts followed quickly with four yeast dinner rolls with butter and "honey" (not real honey by my taste) in a syrup jar. Bottom line; we ate way too much but except for the rolls and syrup it couldn't have been better. The sirloin was as a perfect medium rare, seasoned nicely and really went perfectly with the salad. Sadly, we had eaten most of the meal by the time I thought about pictures. Mea Culpa. Along with all the above, Allison took care of us well. Drove across the street, got food somewhere else, and could still see the original drive-thru hostage sitting there waiting for his order. Legend says he's still there. 6 p.m. Thursday night. Empty restaurant. Employees out back smoking. One customer being held indefinitely in drive-thru purgatory. These guys aren't gonna make it.
