The burger i had was quite simple: cheddar,bacon,lettuce, tomato, pickles but the patty really set it off. I also had a root beer float to go and i thought it was quite interesting how they gave a whole few scoops in a container and then a medium or large cup full of root beer! It was perfect. I could add the amount needed and made my own. Have recommended to a few from the DFW passing through Antlers, Oklahoma. Hope to be back soon, myself! read more

Driving from OKLA to LA on Sunday so couldn't stop at Mt. Pleasant Burgers since they are closed Sunday's. Burger Barn offers good old-fashioned burger with bun grilled and lots of add on options: mushrooms, jalapeño, etc. the Bronco Burger has 2 onion rings on the burger. Fried were frozen, not hand cut. Blue Bell was not available despite signs on every wall inside and outside. Some would call this false advertising but I think the Burger Barn mindset is that "the Blue Bell (summer 2015) recall will be over soon and we'll have Blue Bell again, so why take down all these signs." Doors are low. Felt like I was a giant - I'm only 5'3". Restroom was trailer-sized. But as I said, burgers were good. read more

All I can say is GREAT burger...this is one of those out of the way places that unless you are in the area (Antler, OK) your not going to find it. To say this is hole in the wall is understatement its more like the hole but what good burger. I ordered the Bronco, all meat patty with American cheese, bacon, jalapenos, sauteed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, pickle & onion topped with mustard & ketchup. This burger was good perfectly nice little char on outside but all the juice and yummieness on inside it was a 5 napkin burger. The first bite and all the yummieness runs down your hands and across the creases of your mouth. Your afraid to put it down cause you know you won't be able to pick it all up together again. I had order of onion rings for side..they were ok but your coming for the burger. And once that is done top it off with some good ole Blue Bell ice cream..its right next door..Bonus! read more

Food was very good, had a good burger and curly fries. My mother in law had a garden salad that she said was delicious and she is very very picky along with fried okra that was very tasty, crunchy and not oily. I would go back again and make room for Ice Cream next time. read more

Currently on a cross country road trip from CA and got a bit hungry so decided to pop into the first place we could find. Glad we did. Burgers are fresh, juicy and flavorful. let me start with this: i will definitely stop in again when i am in the area and maybe have a better look at the menu. i was tight for time and wanted to pick up something quick for later. i am sure the burgers here taste ab-fab when they're hot and brand new and dripping all over because the place just absolutely reeks of burgery-deliciousness! but that's not the only measuring stick i use... first: i was told their best burger was coincidentally the most expensive! (always the correct answer! LOLolol) second: coke products! third: large sack o' fries! pretty much any burger is going to taste good hot off the grill. the test of character comes tomorrow morning. hopefully - but not always - after a night in the fridge and that is where Burger Barn comes up just a little short. there is nothing structurally or technically wrong with the sammich: good quality beef w/ congealed juices not fat and bun is firm & moist not soaky & gross. but for out-of-this-fridge dining pleasure i like to have some produce on top, mixed greens and tomato slices and pickle slabs and red onion and pepperoncini (or bananas) otherwise its just meatloaf. i understand that may not be how they do things in Antlers but this is my review. read more

We stopped in on our way to Broken Bow for lunch. The burgers are delicious ! The staff was very attentive to us and we appreciate it !

It has been a long time tradition to get an amazing burger from the burger barn on our way back from broken bow. On a recent visit my wife and I ordered two onion burgers and a coke. The food was great as always but when I went to get a refill they were pretty awkward and asked if we were sharing a drink. I told them yes and they informed me that they have a policy against that and refused a refill. We will still go back on our next visit but it was a little off-putting. Just make sure when you go here to order drinks for everyone in your family. read more

Next time I think I'll try one of their burgers. My dad ordered for me thinking he would bring it over and we would eat there. I showed up and asked to change our orders from to go orders so we could eat there I was met with some attitude, but oh well. Everyone has a bad day and I was probably just that pain in the butt customer everyone hates to deal with. The chicken fried steak my dad ordered me was incredibly salty, so it's a good thing they have free refills. Other than that I thought the place was pretty good. Next time I'll try the fried mushrooms and a burger. read more

My husband and I stopped in on our way to Tyler Tx. We had a cheeseburger and hamburger and they were delicious to say the least, and French fries (frozen) were plentiful. We loved the crusty edge on the buns and the flavorful tasting meat.. It's a very small older building and the young man who took your order and also delivered your food was very polite. You definitely will leave smelling like a burger joint, but you can eat outside if weather is good. read more

Well I really can't go more than a 3 or 3.5. It really is a hole in the wall and looks like the inside of an old mobile home. We had burgers and okra. Burgers were pretty good The okra outside was crispy but you may as well have been eating raw okra....which you were. Nice people and good service so it may have just been a bad day read more

We were driving from Ft Smith to Dallas and were very hungry. Very small place but don't let the looks fool you. Just an absolutely superb hamburger! Double meat with two kinds of cheese, bacon and mild jalapeños. Excellent! I would definitely stop here again. read more

Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday at 1pm and a worker came out to greet us (a group of 12) to let us know we should go elsewhere. They did not want our business, they did not want us to wait for a table (although we told him we were perfectly willing to be split up and wait). When we asked what the wait time was, he promptly told us the people around here like to linger and visit and we could not come inside or wait or be put on a list. We were disappointed in the "small town LACK of hospitality". We went down the road to Cripple Creek and although we were seated immediately, we waited an hour and 15 min for our food....i think we'll drive on thru Antlers next time :( read more

Hello everyone, hope you enjoyed your food at the Burger Barn. Our experience there was not a pleasant one. First, the reason why it wasn't was because we did not ever get in the place to try their food!, Yes, our group was 12 friendly, professional weekend motorcycle rides from the DFW area. We pulled up and started to go in when we were greeted outside in the parking lot by an employee of the Burger Barn advising us that they were full. He stated that we needed to go elsewhere to eat!. . . Really, they turned us down, not wanting to serve us. So with that said I cannot give this place a rating, good or bad, but I can say it that they were NOT small town friendly. read more

They have a burger called the Big Buck Burger that is out of this world (2 beef patties, swiss and american cheese, bacon, jalapenos, mushrooms, with all the veggies) Mmmm.
