I bought an item online, took my money INSTANTLY!. Received notification that the item is ready for pickup INSTANTLY! Picked up item, brought it home and decided I was not satisfied so I decided to return the item within 1 hour of bringing it home. Sorry sir, you have to WAIT 48 hours to do a return, our system does not allow AN INSTANT return. I went back in the store, 48 hours later, processed the return and told it will take up to 5 business days to receive the refund, so NOT INSTANT? Clearly this business is not on the samw level as their competitors where you can buy, return and get refunded instantly! Last time I do business with an outdated system!! read more

I am a small business owner and recently went to Bureau en Gros to buy a printer. At checkout, the agent recommended a Flexiti card, explaining that there was no annual charge and that I would have up to 12 months without interest, with only minimum payments required. What was not clearly disclosed to me were the full terms and conditions. Yes, I signed the application, but like many customers, I trusted the representative's explanation and did not have the time to read all the fine print. Later, when I raised my concerns, Zakia (a manager at Flexiti) told me that since I signed, I was bound to the terms. My advice: do not rely solely on what the sales agent or representative tells you--always read every document carefully before signing. This review is strictly for their printing/photocopying/laminating service since I've shopped here before and I would qualify the service to generally be good/fine. During my recent visit, I show up to get a piece of paper which is the standard size 8.5" x 11" (certificate I got from taking a course) laminated during my lunch (which is roughly 1 hour). The area that is responsible for laminating, photocopies, and printing has 2 people available (and not doing anything but talking). I wait behind the counter until one of them sees me and politely asks me what I'm looking for or whether he can help me. I mention to him that I wanted to get something laminated. He asks me how many items and I mention 1. He then says that it will be ready either later that day or sometime tomorrow. Seriously?!?!? I ask whether they can do it now while I wait (remember, there is no one waiting in line besides me and when I was waiting behind the counter to be served, the 2 staff members were chatting and not making copies or printing anything). I was informed that it wasn't possible. He asked me if I still wanted to get it done and I mentioned that I would think about it and left. I'm only getting ONE item laminated and both staff members which were in that area were not busy and they tell me that it will be ready either later today or sometime tomorrow?!?!?. I was expecting to wait for it during my lunch. I can understand if it was busy or I had a huge job but I was only asking for ONE item to be laminated and they couldn't do this for me while I waited. read more

For office supplies downtown this is usually going to be the best bet. It's in the main hall of Gare Central, accessible from Bonaventure Metro by following signs to the central station. It's huge and clean and well-stocked. I tried going to several of my favourite small office supply shops in my area when looking for differently coloured cue cards recently and struck out, so I popped in here when downtown and they had what I needed, in two sized no less. There were tons of people here, I think lots of offices around must rely on this shop, but the team on the registered moved like clockwork and moved through big lines before I could get stressed. Yeah, this place is useless..they might as well just be a pick up counter for ordering on the Staples website. I was going to actually buy an iPad and stood and waited around by myself for 20 minutes, when I asked the cashier for help, again..she said well there's only 2 of us someone will be starting at 12pm so...what the hell type of stupid service is that? How about this, when you're open for business at a Train Station, in a major Canadian City, have more workers, who can do good at their job!? Does that make any sense at all?!? I order a chair on august 5th, they said it would be delivered between august 6 and 19th. It is the 24th, have received nothing. I wrote a email to customer service, no response. Finally got to reach them on the phone. It has been sitting somewhere for 20 days, they can't do anything about it, they will write to me about it in 3 to 5 days... I wanted to cancel the order but it is impossible. The billed me on august 5th... I will never buy again from them, they have no control on there subs. read more

I'm not surprised they don't have many stars. I ordered same day photos and they didn't even bother to call me and say their photo centre was closed. When I got there the tall guy was nice and the manager did try everything he could but claimed he couldn't compensate me and started kicking the printer and throwing a child like temper tantrum. It was odd. Then the short goofy looking guy came out and started being racist "you people" lol ok Don Cherry. Finally I got my compensation which I asked for for around 1 hour. They claimed it couldn't be done, clearly it could. They said they're closing down soon which is good because they suck, but if not, do NOT let them get away with not compensating you. Very very bad online service. I ordered a printer a few months ago showed to be "on sale" on the french version of the site. The day after I placed my order I revisited the site (the english version) and the product I ordered was listed as "Refurbished". So check well before you order anything from them as french an english sites don't have the same info always. I ordered a Tablet 3 days ago to be shipped to a physical location of the enterprise and I was told to receive it today (picking it up at the site) between 9h and 17h. At 15h I receive an e-mail saying that it will take 7 to 14 days more as the stocks they had runned off. So WTF they had to tell me that before as I already bought accesories for that tablet. Now I have to wait 14 more days, almost until the day Transformer Prime will be avaible to buy. Don't deal with they online, do it if you pass by one of their stores. I am not paying much attention to people's integrity, just take it for granted. Well no more - went to buy a Galaxy J3 and sales man sneaked a Norton antivirus in the "package". I asked about removing it and he went on like "this is selling like this, it's a package". Well back home I clicked that receipt has a separate record with the antivirus. So that's a package, right? I can understand a sale guy wants to make a percentage but lying to customers won't make it right. Went back and the techical services supervisor sent me walking - why dint you look at the moment of paying?? Yeah, I should have done it but fact is your guy lied to my face. I checked twice, went back to my office, returned and they said the same thing. Terrible service. Incompetent, slow and tendency to lie compulsively to clients. I ordered business cards online. When I went to pick-up, they weren't aligned properly. Employees insisted it was my mistake. Went home, brought back the proof (perfectly aligned). Then they came up with other silly lies. Total, had to go four times in person before they got the job done. Ridiculous. Will never go back. read more
