Wojtek and Greg did an outstanding job on my floors. My realtor recommended them ,as they had done…read moremany jobs for her before. I had 3 estimates and they were even the best price! I lived in my home for years and did not know I had hardwood floors beneath the carpeting. I had some stains under the carpet, that they said they would try to clean, but no guarantee. Well, the stains came out perfectly and you would not know they were there. I had G&W take out all the carpeting (quite a job- have them do this for you - well worth the relatively small amount for the time and effort!) and then they cleaned, sanded, refinished and sealed the floors to look as good as new! I found a "surprise" spot under the carpets that was not done with hardwood, so they cut and fitted in some new hardwood to match my original hardwood and when they were done, you could not tell it was not repaired at all. They did take a couple days longer than they estimated, but with the difficulty of the carpet removal, the extra surprise repair and the great job, it was definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend them!

I went with Marian for the floors because he was a lot more economical that what my general…read morecontractor was quoting and he came highly regarded from my realtor. Marian is super friendly and was very accommodating to my schedule especially given the delays with Covid. When it came to installing hardwood in the bedrooms and sanding and staining the floors, I'm really pleased with how they turned out. Marian provided two basic stain samples, but if you wanted something different expect to go and do the mixing yourself and tell him exactly what you want. However, part of my job also included replacing my baseboards which did not turn out quite as great. I think there might have been confusion in my expectations and my walls aren't completely straight, but I wasn't prepared for the number of imperfections. However, know that if you get your baseboards done ask questions and expect there to be extra work after installation. Overall, I would recommend if you are just doing flooring and Marian is super easy to work with and cares about your satisfaction. He made it right when I expressed frustrations. Just be sure to ask a lot of questions if you are a novice at getting your floors done.

In spite of running into some major unforeseen issues, they were still able to complete the major renovation of our entire house without a major delay.
