She was helpful and on top of everything. It was great to have open communication and lots of access for their questions and concerns. Every time they had questions, she was responsive and available. Her knowledge about the market and the selling process was valuable and informative. Given all of the steps of selling, Jin stayed so involved and had good relationships with other service providers as well, like cleaners and movers. She was present for the walk-through and settlement with my family, and she attended every meeting with the new home builders. That kind of presence and hands-on involvement was so important and something that can't be taken for granted, because other agents do not have that level of care. For any future inquiries, my family is happy to recommend her services.

While the home-buying process itself was smooth, our move-out experience was the complete opposite. As a family with young children, we were repeatedly questioned and made to feel uncomfortable over normal wear and tear......things like minor drywall nicks that are expected in any home with kids. These were already being addressed on our end with a contractor, as we had communicated. Despite agreeing to cover repairs and forfeit a $3,000 deposit, we were met with unnecessary comments and a level of aggression that felt unprofessional and unwarranted. It was especially disappointing given that we chose to work with her over many other options, expecting a level of trust and respect in return. We believe in accountability and were fully willing to take care of any legitimate damages....but respect and professionalism should go both ways. Based on this experience, we would not recommend doing business with Jin.

Honest Review of Our Experience at 131 Cypress Point Drive, Charles Town, WV…read moreDate of Move-In: February 1, 2025 Date of Move-Out: Mid September Status: Currently pursuing legal action Monthly Rent Paid: $2,550 (now listed at $3,075) Please Read Every Review Before Signing a Lease If you're considering renting from this company, I urge you to read every single review--especially those written by actual tenants. Most 5-star ratings come from property owners or contractors hired to perform repairs at minimal cost. Renters tell a very different story. My husband and I moved into 131 Cypress Point Drive on February 1, 2025. By the end of that first week, we were already ready to leave. What followed was a deeply distressing experience filled with dishonesty, neglect, and emotional strain. We are not exaggerating. We are currently in court seeking accountability for what this company put us through. What You Need to Know - Security Deposits: The most consistent complaint from renters is that they never receive their security deposit back. We are among them. - Dishonesty: We were repeatedly misled by staff, especially Laura and Tina. Promises were broken, and concerns were dismissed. - Walkthrough Advice: Before signing anything, inspect every drawer, closet, wall, and floor. Take detailed photos during your move-in walkthrough. Document everything. - Lease Review: Read every word of the lease. Ask questions. Don't assume anything will be handled fairly or transparently. Rent Increases Without Justification When we moved in, we were paying $2,550 per month. The family before us paid $1,900. The tenants before them paid $1,700. Now, the company is asking $3,075 for the same property. This pattern of steep, unjustified rent hikes is alarming--especially given the condition of the home and the lack of responsiveness to tenant concerns. The house simply does not warrant this price. It's not an upgrade--it's exploitation. Photo & Documented Evidence We've attached a PDF titled "ALL PICTURES OF INSIDE HOUSE Move In Day 02012025" that includes: - Basement flooding and mold due to a clogged sump pump--reported but ignored. - Kitchen damage including broken drawers, rotting cabinets, and an uncleaned oven. - Master bathroom mold and rot around the shower door and base. - Bedroom walls in poor condition, unpainted and visibly dirty. - Living room ceiling leaks and patchwork caused by unresolved plumbing issues. - Clogged gutters leading to water pouring into the garage. - Bugs on windowsills, dirty carpets, and makeshift tile repairs. - Utility bills and maintenance cancellations that show neglect and lack of accountability. These photos and notes were taken on move-in day and throughout our tenancy. They speak for themselves. Emotional Impact We've had doors slammed in our faces simply because of our association with this property and its representatives--especially Patrick Blood. The emotional toll has been immense. It feels like a blessing to be out of that environment, but the damage remains. Final Words of Caution Please be careful. We are not joking. We are trying to prevent others from going through what we did. If you're considering this property, do your homework. Protect yourself. And if you've experienced something similar, know that you're not alone. Let me know if you'd like a condensed version for Google Reviews or a social media post. I can also help you write a brief caption to accompany the PDF when you upload it.

Not only did they raise my rent over 400$ from my original rent; they took forever with repairs and eventually I felt unsafe living there due to how incredibly uncaring and literally offensive their office staff is. Poison Ivy literally blooming in the yard, a leaky kitchen sink that took 3 weeks to fix and caused damage for the property owner They made horrible comments when my Dad died, and about his blindness while he was alive. We were on a fixed income and with their hidden fees; I cannot and will not support their incompetence anymore I am in a place with no AC now, and like half a window, and I'm just so glad I'm no longer in an abusive relationship with this company. I adored my old place. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE WITH YOUR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT NEEDS.

Tenant of 3 Years - Forced Out Over Showings…read more I was a tenant at the 349 Halltown Road apartment complex, managed by DM Executive Properties and broker Donna Marrone, for three years. I paid rent on time, kept my unit in good condition, and cooperated with showings when the property went up for sale. Despite this, I received a lease non-renewal notice shortly after voicing concerns about being expected to facilitate apartment showings -- something not required under my lease. I was asked to allow buyers, agents, and inspectors into my home without supervision. When I raised these concerns, Donna Marrone responded by saying, "if these are condition[s] you are not comfortable with, you may want to rethink your living situation." I documented multiple showings where visitors entered without introducing themselves -- including one who tracked dirt into my unit after crawling through a muddy crawlspace. On another occasion, a visitor appeared to be recording video inside my apartment without my knowledge or consent. I made it clear I was uncomfortable, and in writing. Instead of addressing those concerns, I was dismissed and have received my non-renewal notice today. If you're considering renting from Donna Marrone or DM Executive Properties, understand that tenant privacy and boundaries may not be a priority. -- Jonathan Meyer
