It has been a farm every since, and the Chase-Flack cobblestone farmhouse (not open to the public) was a stop on the underground railroad. It's still an operating farm, and you can buy fresh produce at the market that is right on NY 18. My visit was in October, so the choices included fresh corn, Indian corn, pumpkins of all sizes, decorative gourds, hay, eggs, cut wood, decorative items and gift items. Give them a try!

This summer me and one of my cousins and our husbands came back to relive our memories, and the place was just how I remembered. Very friendly staff and service. There is a phone number on their website to call which gives up to date directions in terms of what is available and when and where which is super convenient. At the farm they have quart and pint containers, bags and trays for you to use as you go out and pick. Their fields are nice and easy to find. The fruit is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The trouble is the timing, anyone who has picked before knows there is a small window. Strawberries usually come near the end of June and then cherries, blueberries and raspberries quickly follow. Blink and you might miss it, as soon as the end of the school year approaches, use the phone number so that you don't! Coulters seems to have fair pricing for their fruit. Berries all are purchased by pint or quart, whereas cherries are purchased by pound. While they are delicious and worth every penny, be aware the cherries will add up quickly, they weigh more than you think! If you're looking for a fun day, rewarding when you bring home the spoils, check out Coulter farms. Remember to catch them at the end of June, and bring some sunscreen and water, it gets hot out there!

I even hit them with a few random questions and BOOM, they had the answers. We did go a little later into the season so we were not able to pick all of their apples varieties, but I still went home with a bunch! Also, we had the opportunity to pick fresh raspberries. I WAS IN HEAVEN. I could have just done that and been a happy camper. I also picked a small pumpkin from their patch. I learned that the pumpkin patch location changes every 1-2 years. Its a good thing that it was in its lat year because there are plans for that space next year. Keep your eyes peeled people because next year there will be a Cidery opening up. As well as a place to hold parties/weddings! I am totally pumped to try their tasty ciders with all of their homegrown fruit! Their keeping it in the family as the owners daughter and son-in-law are the ones that will be running this place. There was also a maze, but i did not take the time to walk through it. Overall I did not see as many children attractions that you tend to see at apple farms, but I loved the mother daughter team and their passion and commitment to locally grown fruit and cider! It's not a garden *store*, so they don't have tools, pots, fertilizer, or things of that nature. But if you need a plant, this is the place. This spring I bought chives, basil, marigolds, and petunias here, and the prices I paid were about half of what some local garden stores charge. At the checkout, you can buy locally grown fruits and veggies. During my last stop, they had onions, potatoes, radishes, tomatoes, and several kinds of apples. Maple syrup too. Service is friendly, they take credit/debit, and the prices are reasonable. Support a local business and check them out if you're in Greece.
