However, it became apparent throughout the appointment that she lacked the experience and skills necessary to deliver the service I had booked. To begin with, I noticed that the hair at the base of my head was not properly washed, although I chose not to say anything at the time. The bigger issue came during the styling. A--- spent a considerable amount of time curling and pinning my hair, but when she finally released the curls, my hair had absolutely no shape or style. It looked nothing like a professionally finished hairstyle. By this point, I was already running late for my family photo session, and the situation became extremely stressful. A--- eventually had to ask Adriana for assistance. Thankfully, Adriana stepped in and essentially had to redo my entire hairstyle. I was very grateful for her help and professionalism, especially considering that she was already attending to another client. Unfortunately, that client was then left waiting approximately 20 minutes while Adriana tried to salvage my appointment. While I appreciate Adriana's willingness to help, I find the entire situation completely unacceptable. As someone who works in the beauty industry myself, I understand that everyone has to learn and gain experience. However, there is a level of skill and competency that should be expected when a stylist is independently servicing paying clients. Customers book professional services with the expectation that the stylist is qualified to deliver the desired results within a reasonable amount of time. I had scheduled this appointment specifically so I could look my best for our family photographs. Instead, what should have been an enjoyable experience turned into an incredibly stressful one, and I ended up arriving late to my photography session. I don't wish to be unkind toward A---, as she was genuinely lovely. However, I do believe management needs to be aware of this situation and ensure that stylists are adequately trained and capable of performing the services they are assigned before working independently with clients. Given the circumstances, I would appreciate a refund for the service or, alternatively, a complimentary blowout and styling appointment with an experienced stylist. I hope you understand my frustration and will take my concerns seriously. I would appreciate hearing back from you regarding an appropriate resolution. Thank you for your attention.

After waiting for TWO MORE WEEKS, I am told that someone else booked my date and thus they could not proceed with my contract. WHAT?! You couldn't have told me that TWO weeks ago after claiming to have received my info?? By this point, it was already October. I was so upset - what a waste of my time! It had already been practically two months since I first contacted her. I decided to reach out again & ask if she had any recommendations for a similar style artist to her, and hoped she would give me suggestions out of good faith after completely wasting my time. It's been almost 3 weeks and no response. In those 3 weeks, I spoke to 5 different artists who responded IMMEDIATELY, and have moved forward with booking & paying, providing my vision, booking bridesmaids, and having all of my questions answered in hours by the artist I booked - a true sign of professionalism.
