So I just got of the phone with this office, firstlythey tried charging me 100$ for a consult ( when I just got back from a Beverly Hills consult whom charged me nothing) then I'm told that the money will go into my surgery if I choose to get it from him. So #1 you get a consult to check on prices but you have to pay to get prices? I understand that it takes a little time from the doctor and that time if worth money but these procedures are also 1000's of dollars witch the surgeon gets most of and on top of it covid is going on right now. I understand the business tactic to get you In to pay to be seen then to stick with them. It was just vary distasteful and a huge turn off for me. I went to the center for earlobe repair. I met with Dr. Orloff. He is very nice and walked through the producer, it was a quick consultation, he was confident in being able to repair my earlobes. After 6 years of pain with my breast implants due to stage IV capsular contracture and breast implant illness, and 3 years of consultations with various doctors, I knew Dr. Swistun was my match. When I had a bad encounter with a dog biting my lip, I immediately contacted Burbank plastic surgery, they had just recently helped my friend who ironically was in the same situation (normally dogs love is haha) They were able to see me within 30 minutes and within the hour I was stitched up and on my way home, zero pain, extremely professional and they really took their time to make sure no scarring would be visible after everything healed. 6 days post op from removing implants and doing a lift also did Tummy Tuck at same time . I was up and walking on day 2 with help , day 3 I was up and walking around by myself . I was on pain meds until day 5, today at day 6 taking Advil only . Had pain pump removed day 3 , drains came out today day 6 along with bandages off . I've been searching all over the place to try out hydra facial and today was my first time trying it! The facility is very clean and really calming and relaxing atmosphere! They have a whole range of essential oils, makeup, and skin care. And right next door is the Drs. Office :) I was able to get a tour of their place, and they have a relaxing section of massage chairs/calming music that you can go to while waiting for your facial! Julie has been so helpful.. From the phone call to the actual facial! She didn't try to up sell me anything but just told me her recommendations! And I got a complimentary goats milk lotion for signing up as a premium member! Normally hydra facial cost $165, but with the member account you get it for $99/month! I learned about Dr. Orloff in January of this year (2018) through my aunt who actually grew up with Dr. Orloff's family. My reason for visiting him was due to a broken nose and some breathing problems. When I first contacted the office I was greeted by Rebecca, a very friendly staff member who was very understanding, helpful and made me feel comfortable without even meeting her. So, I was transferred to Ani the woman at the front desk who then dealt with all my scheduling from that point on. Ani is also very considerate and understanding and was always on top of calling to confirm appointments and always gave us reminder cards before we walked out of the office. Overall, the office staff is very kind and efficient. As a month went by, I scheduled my pre op and surgery date with Rebecca who then walked me through pre and post surgery paperwork; mind you this was my first surgery ever as well as my first time going under anesthetics. Rebecca again made my nerves go away and helped me feel at ease with the surgery. Then, February 22nd came around(my surgery date) and they scheduled me right at 8am that way I didn't have to fast all day. Like I said, they're very understanding, considerate and truly care about you and your well being. As I entered the room I was welcomed by the most endearing nurses and Dr. Blanca, the Anesthesiologist. As soon as I woke up from surgery I was welcomed by my family and the staff. Doctor Luke Swistun is by far one of the best doctors around and the best one I've ever had. A year ago next week my pinky finger was almost completely cut off and he somehow managed to put it back together (a 3-D puzzle as he called it) with very minimal scarring. During my entire healing process he was attentive, available to text or call anytime, and would always help ease my mind.
