I don't often rent garden tools, but the next time I do I will definitely come back to Bunce. Their customer service is great and they have a staff that actually knows their equipment, so if you tell them what you are trying to get done they can make good recommendations. The equipment they had was in good order, I rented a tiller and it worked great. It's a much easier rental process than going through Home Depot, as they are better staffed and will help you load and unload the equipment. I recommend Bunce if you need to rent equipment for yard work or landscaping. read more

I've only rented from Bunce a couple of times. The guys are helpful, friendly & knowledgeable. Just DON'T try to reserve anything online. They apparently ignore all online requests. This bit me the first time I rented something from them... and silly me - I forgot this - and it just bit me again. If you want service, you gotta call them. Bunce... can we pretend to be a quarter of the way into the 21st century?!? read more

Went local to support the community - unfortunately, I would steer anyone away from this small business and I don't take those words lightly because I'd like to see our community grow rather than the big box stores. But that goes both ways. Unprofessional, incompetence, and lack of sincerity is top of mind. I rented a piece of equipment and the team was unable to spot a serious flaw in safety during loading which resulted in an equipment transport failure and damage to my vehicle. If you care about doing things right - take the time to understand your equipment and educate your team on safe loading procedures. Are you can see the material lift safety catch failed during horizontal transport. Value lessened learned for myself and hopefully Bunce Rental. Take care of your equipment, people and study lessons learned. Ratchet strap placement would have prevented the extension expanding during transport. Don't let rely on safety mechanism - these are lessons learned an experienced team would retain, not the customer. Sad to see them loading this and inspecting it prior to my mile transport. Fortunately spotted it prior to turning and thankfully wasn't on the freeway. Hope a lesson was learned today - hope the best for this small business but come on man. read more

Drove 20 miles to get wood chipper and 20 miles back , wouldn't chip a 2 in branch without binding up . Blades dull got a sorry and we have new blades want to reschedule, wasted my morning and gas to do 6 branches. Maybe they should test it before it goes out .not just it runs but chips. So 80 miles of driving for we're sorry read more

Great service and very helpful on check out of two-man auger for our fence posts. Equipment worked well

BEWARE. Have a truck or bring your own trailer to haul rentals. Nice folks.... But poorly written trailer rental policy means even with a vehicle that exceeds load capacity AND towing capacity of the required "1/2 ton pickup", in my case a Subaru Ascent Limited with 6k gvwr, 4600 curb weight, and a 5k towing capacity, (puts me just shy of a 3/4 ton pickup) they refused to rent a trailer with the trencher. Gonna take my business elsewhere until this policy improves. read more

Easy to work with! Prices are workable and the people are knowledgeable and friendly!

Convenient local equipment rental shop, these guys can also fill your propane tanks. I've used Bunce Rentals for several home improvement projects over the years. The rates are reasonable and the staff is knowledgeable and efficient. It's certainly the closest place for me to rent a bobcat or other heavy equipment. I also stop by this shop every time I run out of propane for my BBQ: service is pretty quick and its cheaper than doing the tank exchange at a big box store. Last time I stopped by for a fill up, I was in and out in about 10 minutes and the fills cost about $14 per 5 gallon tank (filled with about 4.4 gallons of fuel). read more

So I've rented from these guys a few times because there the closest rental place to me.I will not go here again 1st off the equipment is all outdated and they have backyard mechanics that work on them. The equipment I rented did not operate correctly and was broken multiple times I rented from them the 1st time they gave me another piece of equipment the second time I did not want to deal with them no more due to having bad equipment before after already going back home once and taking the day off to take care of a plumbing issue I had with a snake.I believe they should refund you if the equipment is malfunctioning they did not.I will not go here again and highly recommended anyone to go elsewhere..try sunbelt as they swap there equipment out frequently or Aabergs read more

SO I lost my keys in some shrubs and needed a metal detector as it was the second to last resort before trying to coordinate a locksmith and my mailman. Anyway, the process was so easy. Find the nearest location on their website, reserve online, wait for confirmation and go pick up. I returned the bad boy the following day. At the end of the day it worked! I told them what I was using the metal detector for and they picked out the best one for me, demonstrated how to use it and everything! Nice fellows. There's plenty of other equipment that they rent out too but it was all beyond my level of expertise. read more

I wouldn't ever rent from here again. They went out of their way to bash a local competitor when I told them who I typically use. When I called them on it, the guy back peddles and denied his words. Not only was the employee unprofessional but the service was extremely slow, the guy saw me at the counter proceeded to continue his conversation with another coworker about their weekend plans and then took a phone call, all while I was waiting. They charged me two full day on a rental that should have been a day. I would save your time and aggravation and just avoid this place. Home Depot is a bit more expensive but has much better customer service. Aabergs is a short drive have comparable rates and truly cares about their customers. Just keep driving past this place. I am a busy general contractor and will never return. read more

Bunce Rentals was very helpful when aaberg rentals screwed up my order. I need a track loader and cultivator with dingy for the following day and the manager ray helped me get all the equipment I needed for my one day of rental. I stopped by to pay with my credit card and Ray also gave me a military discount. Thank you Bunce Rentals for supporting the troops. I had an issue with the track loader because of dirt clogging the radiator and couldn't access it to clean out the dirt so they sent a mechanic out the following day and let me keep all the equipment an extra day. I would recommend Bunce Rentals to everyone I know. Thank you for helping me keep my schedule and get my project done. read more
