In fact a neighbor across from the patio was literally painting his white picket fence! So, it's a unique setup for a mpls brewery taproom from the start. I walked in and was assaulted by a sickeningly sweet smell. Not sure if that's them brewing up their beet beer (beet beer--WHY?!) We both ordered the Saison. It had decent belgian notes but it was half-flat and a little sweet for my taste. It's nice they have a patio but it's beset by constant traffic from 44th St on one side and a parking lot with porta pottys on the other. Not exactly getting any fresh air. Moreover, the seating at picnic tables and high tops with cheap un-cushioned bar stools felt pretty half assed but that went along with the overall theme. They allow outside food and had a food truck operating when we went there which was a plus. Ultimately neither one of us were thrilled with our first tap so we bailed. Can't speak on the entire tap line but unlikely we will come back unless our friends ask us to. So almost nearly there in every respect but not quite. 3.75/5 rounding up to 4.

We grabbed a few drinks as well, and really enjoyed the piña colada flavor! A group of regular beers and an always interesting rotation of new beers, varieties, and flavors. The brewery is tucked into an industrial park and on the edge of an active rail road. Lots of free parking, food trucks, and a huge indoor and outdoor space to enjoy friends activities and tasty beer all year around. There are fire pits for fall, winter games for winter and many activities including night disc golf. And many people bring their dogs.
