I elected to contact BumbleJunk after reading a good review of their services and the fact that they have an "eco-friendly" philosophy concerning the disposal of junk. We used them to help us with removing junk and old furniture and appliances from my deceased Father's home in downtown Baltimore. The response and service provided was exceptional in every way and I do not exaggerate. Starting with a prompt return of my initial call for information, they arrived on time with a highly professional and positive attitude. We walked through the house to calculate what needed to be done and a reasonable quotation was promptly provided. Then the crew went to work. I've never experienced better and more friendly service by such a large crew. They moved quickly and worked exceptionally hard throughout the entire day without a single complaint or remark. Keep in mind this was a narrow, three story home filled with things accumulated over 50 years. They always inquired about specific items when they weren't sure about what we wanted to do with them. They removed every item with care and disassembled anything that would not fit through doors or passageways. They solved knotty removal problems with ease and with a cheerful disposition. Most importantly, as the job evolved during the day, they reassessed their labor needs to meet our deadline of clearing the home by the end of the day. More crew members and bigger trucks arrived to pick up slack. To a person, everyone was courteous and enthusiastic about what they did and how they did it. It's really difficult to find this level of service today and, combined with a most reasonable cost, I cannot offer a better recommendation for their services. This is a VERY professional company. In need of some demo/hauling services I went to the world wide web to find some reputable companies. I solicited estimates from about 6 companies that seemed to offer these services. Only three actually responded. Of the three, Bumblejunk was the only to follow up FAST, THOROUGHLY,and PROFESSIONALLY. They scheduled a site visit almost immediately and gave an accurate estimate on the spot. I could tell that they were going to do the job well as they are a company that is clearly customer service oriented. The guys that show up to do the work are extremely courteous and trustworthy. They worked at our house for 3 days and I kept noticing them doing very considerate things like moving items in our yard so they wouldn't get damaged, keeping the workspace clean and organized, and working as a team (yes this is something that stands out when doing demo and hauling.) When it was all done, they did the job for exactly what they said it was going to cost in the time they said it would take. That's pretty much everything you could ask for in a company like this. Contacted them by phone on Monday...they scheduled and arrived on-time for a Tuesday estimate for junk removal from a residential home...we agreed to the cost and scheduled a Thursday removal. They arrived on-time, did a great job of hauling away everything included in their estimate, and charged us exactly the amount we agreed to pay. Telephone customer service was excellent, and the guys that did the actual hauling were courteous, friendly, and respectful of our home. Payment was quick and easy. I could not be happier with BumbleJunk if I tried. They were lightening fast getting a dumpster to me when I needed to clean out a basement on very short notice. Extremely professional and friendly. The dumpster itself was even clean and nice looking. (trust me, I've had some ugly dumpsters to fill!) They worked with me on a time frame to keep the dumpster so I had the time to fill it I needed.
