He loves to play with others and people watch! Shoes have to be taken off and restrooms were located in the back! It was clean. I have been wanting to bring my kids here for awhile. We got invited to a birthday party so we finally checked it out. Bumblebee is clean and my daughter had a blast. I didn't realize that I needed socks to stand in the play area as well, so I made a mental note to bring socks next time. Note: socks can be purchased there. It is a little pricey in my opinion but definitely a great place to bring my kids on a really hot or really cold day. My daughter enjoyed being able to run back and forth between the different rooms. I brought my nephew here and met a girlfriend and we had a great time. Ordered tons of food and the kids played till they dropped. I brought my children out here on 12/28 and we had a great time. We were meeting up with my sister later in the day and came here to blow off some steam/ run around. We got here right when they opened (9) and away we went. This is located on Randall Road like 2 minutes off of The 90. It's got a big parking lot so you won't have an issue finding a spot. On weekends it is $12 for one child and $10 for a second kid. Not the cheapest but it's within reason. What I liked about this place was it was good size, clean and there is enough stuff for kids of all ages. My 8 year old had fun and so did my 6 year old. Sometimes these places are geared more towards really young kids, but this was cool. There was a very large play area, a cool jumping/bounce thing and free air hockey. I thought it was great that wasn't a separate charge. There is a cafe/ restaurant there. It's a little on the high end, but hey we only live once right? My kids both liked what the got and I liked the full coffee bar they had. Quality latte and I enjoyed it. We will be back. read more

Really excited to take my son here since we live fairly close, but man were we disappointed! Food: Ordered a grill cheese, bread was still white and cheese was not completely melted. Hot dog, mustard packets were all dried up on the inside, chips were very stale. Atmosphere: our son is 19 months old, probably would have been better if he was a year or two older. We were afraid of him hitting his head on the end of the slide since there is a gap. I would suggest they get more of the same type of push toy, lawnmower for example. Everything we used there we could do at a park pretty much. Admission fee wasn't too bad. But I would maybe change it to $9 or $10. read more

I love taking my daughter to new indoor play areas because of the enclosed space and plenty of toys or activities to roam and play! This place isn't so bad, only when you are near or in the neighborhood: 1.) not busy on a Sunday, about 10 kids for our duration. 2.) Wristbands with similar numbers unique for identification upon entry and wristbands were checked before exiting the gated area. 3.) Family cafe has espresso drinks and nonalcholic drinks. Their signature drinks are the bumblechinos; I wouldn't know because we didn't order any drink nor food items there. 4.) 2 play areas: one for the toddler and another room for the bigger kids for up to 7. My daughter loved the "bouncy mattress". It takes common sense that younger kids shouldn't be jumping when older kids are present or parents/caretakers to get the younger children not to jump asking the edges, rather more towards the middle. There might be a sign posted up to "play with caution" for the bouncy mattress, so that alone is enough to prevent liability towards the establishment. My daughter, however, did hurt herself going down a slide in the non-toddler room; employee was sympathetic to my daughter and gave her ice in a ziplock bag. It's just one of those things that may happen for playing. She cried a little, dusted herself off, & played again. One of these places to just try once and we had a party in St. Charles to attend. read more

I really like taking my kids here to play on a rainy day buuuuut everyone likes to take their kids here too and it can become crowded. The facility has play areas for little and big kids. It is very clean and organized. My only complaint is 2 times now I have witnessed parents in the restaurant portion of the building letting their kids run around without watching them. One incidence I had to help a friend track down a parent (who was sitting at a table on her cell phone) after her unattended 4yo hit my friend's son in the head because he was in line for a slide. read more

I've been here several times and even hosted my daughter's 3rd birthday party here. It's a great place. My only only complaint is the lack of things to do in the toddler room. There's lots of open space to run, which is great, but maybe a ball pit, more cars and more things to climb on would be great. The older room looks more fun, but she won't be going in there for another 2 years... Overall, I love the relaxed atmosphere and that I can see my kid wherever she is in the room. The lady in the picture who I believe is the manager has no manners! She kicked my 75 year old grandma who had no shoes but wasn't in the play area. She was sitting on the side and wasn't walking around. She waited 1.5 hours to approach us with a nasty loud attitude in front of my kids and family and everyone around. She is the worst manager and if she's the owner good luck! I will make sure friends and family are aware of your horrible treatment. Elderly and everyone deserve to be talked with respect and your lack of respect is disgusting. If you wanna me treated badly by this lady avoid this place! She even yelled at me when I asked for a refund and had a nasty attitude. She was always rude and never apologized for her talking out loud and not caring my grandma could barely walk. How dare you? just now So of course I'm a parent who follow given rules. Clearly says all adults and children need to wear socks in the play rooms. I've seem plenty of adults who still wear shoes in the area. I've notified the workers (2), their response, "Well, they're not suppose to wear shoes." And continued with their chit chats. So as an employee, you don't kindly walk up to these parents and nicely reminded them they need to take their shoes off and put some socks on? I question how these employees are trained when they took the position for this job. It's not about following rules. It's about minimizing the bacteria for these children and with a team to try to keep the play area cleaner. These employees are just here to collect a paycheck. read more

2.5 stars really. BPC has a lot of things going for it. Huge parking lot. Spacious play areas--one for toddlers, one for bigger kids. Nice cafe with snacks and drinks for sale. We went for a birthday party and my son had a blast. He loved the climbing structure and slides and considering it was a Saturday, the place didn't seem crowded at all. We didn't venture into the toddler area--but peeking in, it looked pretty spacious as well. The food they served from in house was pretty good too--pizza, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders. And the gal assigned to the party seemed pretty friendly and helpful. The party rooms are small. I don't know if they have bigger sizes, but fitting 10 kids, plus parents and grandparents in the room we were assigned to was not a fun experience. There was no room to get up and move around, especially to get the food/drinks at the food table. So if you're planning a party there, ask to see your assigned room first. The bouncy mattress in the bigger kids room has to go, or at least make it safer. It really should be in a more open area or replace it with a bouncy house that's enclosed. I saw one girl bounce and fall off and good thing it was on the "safer" side or else she could have bounced into the wall. I did not see one staff member in the play room at all during the 1-2 hours we were there. No one was enforcing the socks-only rule either. I've been to birthday parties and open play at other indoor play areas and BPC is ok, but if does have a lot of potential to being great. PS there is a liquor store next door--kinda funny if you need something to help you unwind after a few hours of kids screaming/crying. read more

We have frequented pretty much every indoor play park in the area. We went to Bumblebee on a rainy holiday, so we knew it was going to be crowded. This was our first time here and it definitely has its positives- the space itself is large, the two separate rooms each have a lot of space, the actual play towers are pretty great. With that being said, there are definitely areas for improvement. There is only one IPad being used for people to sign a waver. The lady in front of us forgot her glasses so we had to wait about 5 minutes for a worker to read everything to her and help her. By the time it was our turn, there were 5 other families waiting behind us. Our two biggest issues though were safety. We were not comfortable with the bounce pad. My husband caught one child, not ours, who was about to accidentally fall off and I caught my 3 year old daughter. The pad tells you not to jump around the edges, but a large majority of kids on it can not read and don't know that. I know another person commented on this and a response was that workers check it it, but we never saw any worker in this area. The other, and biggest issue for us, was security. When we walked in we were given 3 wristbands (however we were 2 kids and 3 adults). They wrote the last 4 digits of or phone number on the wristbands like they do at other play parks. At other play parks, there is someone who stands by the entrance/exit to the parks and checks bands to make sure your child is leaving with you. No one checked our bands either going in or going out. Seeing how many people there were today, this is really concerning. What is the point in giving us bands with numbers if you are not going to actually use them? Most of these issues can be resolved. We will definitely give it another try in the future hoping that these problems are fixed. read more

We brought our 2 year old triplets here last weekend and they had a blast! We love that there is such a big area for them to play in and such a variety of things for them to do! We also love that it's so close to home! Our biggest thing is the cost. Bringing 3 kids in each time will cost up to $30! The punch pass is not convenient if we have to decide if we're just coming on weekends or weekdays. We'd love to see (and would definitely buy) a family unlimited pass of some sort. We've been to a similar place up in Rockford almost monthly because of their pass. I bet you'd get lots of families to buy one too! Great source of early income for a new business! This place is great for kids. They also take a lot of precautions when it comes to the safety of kids. Great food, great options for drinks and snacks. The play areas are excellent. They have a toddler area and big kid area. We stuck to the tot area. But the equipment I saw in the big kid room looked excellent. If seating in places like this is not big deal to you its wonderful. For myself I need comfortable seating. I have to have it. I have bad hips and back. Places like this. Is where I go to get a break and sit. While watching my child play. I know they just recently opened so they are still improving their facility. Ive heard lots of wonderful things about their willingness to listen to the opinions and suggestions of their customers. what I would like to see is more seating in the kids areas. 6 seats is not enough on a busy Saturday. Love that this place opened up close by! There's two different rooms, one for kids probably 4-5 and under and one for older kids. Our son went to both rooms and loved the whole place. It's very clean and with all the nasty things that kids transmit these days, it gives you peace of mind when you feel like the place is well maintained. They have a little cafe area, the prices seem a little high though. They have party rooms which seem like a cute idea for birthday parties. It's 8$ for one kid above 1 year in age. This place has the potential to be great. Love the location, price and most of the play options. The issue's I had were: 1) It was SO busy everywhere and zero staff members in any of the play areas reinforcing the rules that many families/children were completely disregarding. My niece was flung off the bouncy by aggressive older kids and my son was knocked over and around multiple times. From what I could tell those kid's parents were no where in sight (probably in the party rooms) 2) The bouncy seems like major injury/lawsuit waiting to happen. It has no netting to protect kids from flying or falling off. There were some mats added to one of the walls, but that does not seems sufficient. They're just on the cusp of 5, so they loved things at both areas. I was pleased to see the staff spot cleaning, and that the place was not a complete zoo. I had asked if I could bring treats for a dessert table for my daughters party that I booked, not to eat just so kids can pack as a treat bag at the end of the party - what party these days doesn't have a desert table? The lady at the front was very rude when I asked her. She said my guests can order from the cafe. That's my first complaint. Second, the website says reentry same day with wristbands but the elderly lady at the front desk asked for my baby's wristband and cut my daughter's off of her wrist when we were walking out... we were just going do grab a bite to eat and come back as the cafe is way over priced. ($3.99 for 2... yes 2... chicken tenders?!) I had prebooked a party here for 3/16 and because of that lady's attitude I am cancelling. Most likely won't be returning. Loved to hear that an indoor play area for kids opened in the Elgin area! Was so excited to take the kids! The location doesn't have the greatest first impression. It's in a strip mall with a closed down Walmart, and liquor store right next down...upon entering the doors were so filthy that u could barely see inside. BUT the inside was clean, and bright and we were greeted immediately. Spent around 2 hours with my kids, something for every age group to do. The HUGE concern I had about the safety of the place was the bouncy trampoline that they had. Now if just 7 or 8 kids are on it, it's ok, BUT anymore than that it's a huge issue. I had to pull my kids off it as I was nervous they were gonna get knocked off. There isn't a protective netting around the side so if a kid were to fall off they would definitely be hurt. We ended the day with some ice cream, and sat next to the counter. That area was freezing and a parent next to me was complaining cause she had to keep her little ones in coats. Would I bring the kids again....maybe on another day in the winter months but wouldn't be back otherwise. Update--- kids needs to burn some energy on this rainy day so decided to give this place another try. What a MISTAKE!! Place was packed, that's ok I figured that. BUT here's where the problems lies, there was NO staff in any of the room for the hour we were there! Some parents not watching their kids, cell phones are more important to them, I guess. Watched kids going up the slide the wrong way and getting hurt, some bigger kids actually swinging from the tops of the fencing in the little kids rooms, both times we went to switch room the gates to keep the kids safe and in the play areas were wide open. I did bring this up to the lady at the front desk and she said "I'm sorry, I'm the only one here today." Enough said, I won't be back. read more
