Spoke with Bulwark on NOVEMBER 5, 2025. Was looking for pest control and after not having much luck with others, was gonna give them their fair shot. After speaking with the gentleman, he said i just needed to sign a disclosure that would grant them permission to provide the services(something along those lines) "No problem" I get to reading it because I didn't want to be locked In with a service, the verbiage in the disclosure actually contradicted what my guy was selling me. at that point I shared the disclosure with my girlfriend and she agreed it sounded nothing like the gentleman was selling it as. I then declined the services and NEVER SIGNED AND NEVER EVEN ENTERTAINED said disclosure. "I'm good" Fast forward to TODAY, APRIL 07,2026... Ready for this, I come home from work to a service summary on my door FROM BULWARK! FIVE MONTHS LATER, they took it upon themselves to service my OUTSIDE ONLY, with NO AGREEMENT OR DISCLOSURE SIGNED!! Contacted them immediately. The "SUPERVISOR" was absolutely rude. ZERO professionalism and thought she was gonna speak to me however she wanted. Basically told me "you have to call to officially cancel your service" The problem is I didnt agree to any services. So I need to call to cancel what exactly? Service that I declined and never signed the disclosure to accept terms?? Bulwark, that's shady! And for all reading this... your warning is right here! Proceed with caution, they are scammers! This is MY EXPERIENCE AND MY OPINIONS! Moving onto Google. Make this right Bulwark... "They are sending me a bill" for UNSOLICITED SERVICES. It's not gonna be worth it in the end Because I'm prepared to take this to the Federal Trade Commission as well as the Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. If you are looking for pest control I highly recommend Bulwark. We had been looking for pest control on roaches because they LOVE South Texas but never signed anywhere because it was so expensive. Bulwark came knocking at our door and because the prices where so affordable we signed on and so happy we did. Since our first treatment we rarely and I mean rarely see bugs. It seems when we do see some its close to our next treatment date. The Bulwark team are friendly and professional especially Micha Paxan. This past treatment he explained to us how he was going to treat our yard because it was raining and how it is different from when its not raining. He asked if we had seen any bugs inside and we had seen a little spider few days before so he said he would spray inside....and the next time we see a bug/insect to call so they can come to spray inside and of course there is no extra charge it is free. Our initial visit was with Rick on 6/10/17. Rick was very professional, punctual, and informative. He explained what he would be doing, answered all questions we had about the pests in and around our home. He assured us that we would be placed on a schedule where another tech would come and spray without us having to make an appointment, since this was the problem we had with our previous pest control company. He even cleared all the cobwebs we had around the outside of our house while spraying. Very happy with the service. Our follow up visit on 7/13/17 was with Micah. As Rick assured us, we were notified the previous day that a tech would be coming out and spraying our yard. Micah showed up at the time that was given and was very professional and efficient. I recently saw a Facebook advertisement for Bulwark Pest Control and decided to take them up on their offer. The very next day a gentleman by the name of John Harden showed up to our front door with a smile and eager to get to work. I told him my pest problems and he knew exactly what to do. He did an outstanding job and explained everything he did. I previously tried 2 other pest control companies and it always seemed we were more like a nunmber rather than actual customers. Mr. Micah Pax did a good job, very friendly, knows what he's doing, and was willing to answer question we had regarding the chemicals he was using. Even gave us his personal number just in case we have more questions or needed help with something else. It's been two weeks or so and we're barely doing the review sorry. We have been seeing roaches inside and out side dead, I always wondered if actually work when they will say it works for weeks then we have to come back again and spray again. Great service! The answering service is helpful and friendly. Micah came out and explained everything he was doing before he did it, things to look out for etc. Played with my dogs. I like that it's going to be the same person every time so I'll get to know them. The service is every two months but they'll come any time between to spray again if needed. Inside or out. It's safe for animals and dries rapidly inside, I kept my dogs inside for a few hours to make sure it dried outside thoroughly. Didn't take long, maybe half an hour to do everything and he gave me a call half an hour before he headed to my house. read more

I have German roaches.... I didn't realize how bad it was until the day before Micah came out to my house. I was moving around some stuff and I opened the entertainment center to dust and why not and found about 15 German roaches!!! I wanted to literally throw out everything in my house! Within 1 treatment you could definetly see a difference. He since has come every week to spray free of charge to get the roaches under control. After only 4 treatments it is extremely minimal in the home. Whatever he uses is amazing and he is very thourough and not stingy with spraying. I'd definetly recommend him to anyone!! read more

Micah was an absolutely excellent tech! I'm not from Texas so having bugs like cockroaches is not something I've ever experienced. He took the time to identify and explain to me the different types of cockroaches (gross) and why they come in. He explained to me what I can do myself and gently explained to me that me pouring bleach down my garbage disposal actually wasn't really helping. Despite looking very young, he was very competent and knowledgable. He was professional and had a demeanor that made me comfortable to have him in my home. Highly recommended! read more

Micah Paxman has been coming out every week to service our house. Unfortunately we had a pretty out of control roach problem but he has been able to make a huge difference!!! Rick is Always professional & terrific! We have had a mouse for about a week that I was worried would get into the Christmas pkgs; Rick came, set 2 traps & it was caught by That evening! Called Bulwark after ants were taking over my house and the first company I called didn't show up. They scheduled me for the very next day. When I called they originally said I should get service every two months but after looking at my neighborhood they recommended quarterly which would save money. I had one technician come out he sprayed around and recommended a follow up (free of charge) in two weeks. Since that day, I have not seen a single ant. So pleased with the service. I had a young man show up at my doorstep to let me know that my neighbors were getting serviced and that they were offering a discount. I decided to give them a shot, and my technician, Piet, was absolutely fantastic at performing the service. He properly ensured that the roaches we were seeing inside left the home, and even took care in treating the many wasps nests around the eaves of our home. Our home's tropical landscape lends itself to being a haven for flying bugs and creepy crawlies. However with monthly applications of both spray and granular pesticides the pest population is minimal, much to our satisfaction.
