During…read moremy initial visit Dr. Zebrowski informed me that I needed a root canal and it would cost me upfront $800 out of pocket in addition to my dental insurance. I was in so much pain that I just paid the money after he started the procedure during my initial visit. The temp tooth was misformed and too big, so he simply shaved it down to another weird shape until my next appointment for phase 2 of the root canal because he didn't give me enough anesthesia to finish it during my first visit. Well, phase 2 turned out to be 6 addition visits for the same root canal. There were so many things wrong with his practice and work ethics...he talked about other patients with his assistant each time he worked in my mouth, he didn't put the temp on good so the canal became infected, they ordered my crown and gave me an appointment 1 1/2 months later for it, and on the morning I was driving to their office for my appointment to get my crown they called me to cancel because they still hadn't received it because they sent it off weeks after they did the mold of it, they told me they would call me when they received my crown (that was on January 6, 2023), I called them on January 19, 2023 and asked whether they received it and the woman on the phone said "oh, we just got it yesterday", so I made an appointment to finally get my crown in 4 days later, and the dat before that appointment his office called me to advise that I owe $1407 before they can insert my crown the next day. What?!?! $1407 in addition to the $800 I already paid 3 months and 7 visits ago when you first started this ONE root canal?!?!? I informed his office that advising of this additional payment the day before my appointment and holding my crown hostage was not okay. She responded that I could use Visa, Mastercard, a Care Loan, and find another dentist. Needless to say, I didn't keep that appointment and I'm now looking for a new dentist while suffering with the infection and pain from the 3 month long incomplete root canal that this dentist who is holding my crown hostage worked on. AVOID this dentist at all cost! The office is old and dirty, the front office staff is nasty, and the dentist is unprofessional. On a good note, his hygienist who does the annual teeth cleanings is absolutely amazing and extremely nice.

I used to go to this dentist and he has to be the most unprofessional dentist that I've ever had…read morethe misfortune to work with. Not only did he and his dental assistant spend the entire time they were working on my mouth gossiping about clients (which makes me think that they do that to all of their clients) but to this day I think he recommended a root canal that I didn't really need just because I had dental insurance to pay for it. I've gone to much better dentists and they said they would never do that. He also botched the size of my crown and instead of getting the crown redone in the right size he shaved it down in a very unflattering way. And when I told him that I was uncomfortable about the look of the crown he got very nasty and insulting. Never in my life have I seen a dentist that was so unprofessional. I'm shocked this guy is still in business.

THEY ARE NOT GOING TO ACCEPT YOUR SCAN FROM OTHER CLINICS. THEY SAY THEY DO, BUT THEY WON'T. Even…read moreif it means exposing you to another X-ray within a short period. My experience with this clinic made me seriously question the integrity of some medical providers. I grew up in a family full of medical providers, so I've always had a lot of respect for them. But being told they "can't read" my scan files and that I needed to pay $450 for another CBCT scan was shocking. I had already taken the scan at another oral surgery clinic that turned out to be out-of-network. That's why I looked for an in-network doctor and ended up here. Before my first appointment, they asked me to bring the scan files. I even asked if there was a specific format they needed because I work with image files and know compatibility can matter. They brushed it off and told me to just bring them. I arrived with the USB and waited almost an hour, only to be told they couldn't read files from USB and needed them on a CD. Sorry, but are we in 2005? They "kindly" offered to take a new scan for $250. I had taken the scan only a week earlier, so I refused. I had to reschedule and even bought a CD burner on Amazon because the original clinic didn't have one. Before my second appointment, I called again to ask about file formats and told them the other clinic had also emailed the files. I even asked if they could call the other clinic since both clinics use the same medical imaging software, which I found very odd. THEY NEVER CALLED THE OTHER CLINIC AND APPARENTLY NEVER CHECKED THE EMAIL. They just kept saying it should work if it's on a CD. So I returned with the CD. After all that effort, they STILL said they couldn't read the files. And now the price for a new scan was suddenly $450. When I got home, I downloaded a free medical imaging viewer and opened the files immediately with no issue. Yes, I -- someone with no experience opening this type of medical imaging format -- was able to open them. I ended up booking another oral surgeon down the street who simply allowed me to upload my existing scans. I still can't understand why this clinic handled things this way. It felt like they cared more about charging for another scan than actually helping patients. Also, thanks for delaying my treatment for weeks and for trying to make me take another X-ray only a few weeks after the first one.

She then went under for the surgery and was shaken awake and told she needed to leave immediately after waking up. She then asked to speak to the surgeon to see how it went and was told she was "too busy" to speak to her. Over the next couple days my wife had severe bruising on her neck and jaw and extreme pain. We have no idea what happened during the surgery to illicit this kind of bruising. She also developed bruising on her wrist, again no doctor would explain what happened during the procedure so no idea what happened there. Over all was a terrible experience and honestly scary.

Apparently dentists don't like to accept medical insurance - only dental insurance. And when I pulled into Dr. Ruderman's office parking lot, I inwardly groaned. It's just not an attractive building, there's a dumpster in front of the building, and the concrete in the parking lot of cracked. The interior also looks like it hasn't been decorated in decades. BUT...! Dr. Ruderman was such a good doctor/dentist that I now understand the amazing reviews despite the dreary décor. It sounds silly writing this, but he actually read my medical chart, and asked me questions about it. We actually had rapport. Noticing my discomfort with the procedure, he joked around about my employer in the news and the terrible taste of the anesthesia. And when my medical results came in, Dr. Ruderman personally called me to inform me of the results (they were good) and explain what they meant. What a novel concept - I'm used to having to dial in myself and then listen to a prerecorded message. My only pang of sadness is that I live so far from Dr. Ruderman. If I lived closer, I would come to Dr. Ruderman for all my dental needs!

However, before I could actually have an appointment set the communication went cold. I switched from calling and leaving voicemails to trying to go up there, unfortunately to no avail. I just called today and it was like they never stopped business. I explained my frustration with the length of time it had been and was met with a subpar excuse. The initial call ended due to my disposition but even calling to speak to a supposed manager rendered no results that made sense. There was no communication on a switch in management, a lag in services, nor has anyone reached out in about 2 years. Not only is it unprofessional but it is very uncomfortable to even continue services here. Pray-fully everyone is actually being reached out to and can continue their services.

Lifesaving Emergency Dental Care - Forever Grateful!…read more I am writing this review with tears of happiness because of the incredible experience I had at Dr. Bryant's Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Glenn Dale, Maryland. My three-year-old son had been suffering from severe tooth pain for weeks, crying in agony and unable to eat or sleep. I desperately visited five different offices across DC, Maryland, and Virginia-- including two emergency room visits-- only to be turned away each time because appointments were booked months out. It was a heartbreaking and frustrating experience. A friend recommended Dr. Bryant's office, and I am beyond grateful that I made the call. To my amazement, they told me to come in immediately. Within two hours, my son was seen, sedated, and had his problematic teeth extracted. The relief and gratitude I feel are indescribable. From the moment I walked in, Mazie was an absolute angel. She listened to my concerns, reassured me, and stayed by my side throughout the entire process. She was incredibly gentle with my son and made a terrifying situation feel manageable. The entire staff provided compassionate, professional, and swift care, which made all the difference. Thanks to Dr. Bryant and his amazing team, my son is finally recovering and almost back to his normal self. This office truly cares about its patients, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of urgent or specialized dental care. Forever grateful, W. Marcelin

I never had to wait on hold long when I called w/ questions. I was able to get an appointment right away. His recovery instructions were clear, the follow up appointment took less than 10 mins. This team was phenomenal!
