    Crispy Tofu Bowl
    Gimel C.

There was a small wait to order but I was okay with it. I had the crispy tofu bowl with rice and veggies. It was delicious and filling. The server was friendly and efficient. I would definitely return.

This is a favorite of mine in the food hall. It's so easy to make your own bowl and there's no complaints about that! The bowls are plentiful and delicious.

Bullgogi is a restaurant located in the newly built Marietta Square Market. I love the variety of restaurants located in the Market. This was our first visit and I was pleasantly pleased with the options available to us. After walking around, we settled on Bullgogi Marietta. The servers are very friendly and offered us samples before we chose what we wanted. They will also walk you through everything you need to know to build your bowls. We ordered the Bibimbap Bowl and Poke Bowl. First you select your rice, either white rice, brown rice, fried rice, or sushi rice. We got the fried rice for the Bibimbap and they recommend the sushi rice for the Poke. After selecting your rice, you then pick your protein, vegetable toppings, and a few other options. It's all pretty straightforward once they walk you through it. I liked the variety of toppings that they offer. The food itself was very good and filling. And for the price, I thought it was a good deal. I would recommend this restaurant if you're not sure what to get in the Marietta Square Market.

The seaweed isn't good and the beef had a funky tasting undertone for me.

Good, but not as good as other poke places in town. Was super excited to try this place after the great reviews. Also, the portion is huge. If I had tried it before any other poke places, I'd probably be raving about it. The ladies behind the counter were very nice. But the beef had a slight funky taste to it, for me. Not that it wasn't fresh or something; more that however it was made just isn't the greatest tasting. But, ok. Maybe it's just not for me. The real let down was the seaweed. It wasn't good. And I love seaweed. In fact, I'd had some earlier the same day at a poke place downtown. The seaweed here wasn't good. I even ordered extra because I love it. I had one bite and no more. Also, I was slightly disappointed zoodles weren't a base option. Overall, not a bad place. I'd eat here again, but I can't rave about it. It was just ok for me.

Holy smokes! My poke bowl was on point! Located in Marietta Square, Bullgogi has got it going on! We ordered beef dumplings and to poke bowls. There are an array of options for the poke bowls, such as salmon, tuna, spicy tuna, and more. In my picture you will see one bowl with tuna and one bowl that has a combination of spicy tuna and regular tuna. There are an array of rices, such as white rice, brown rice, sushi rice and more. Accompaniments include things like cucumbers, edamame, jalapeños, greens, and so much more! I personally do not like lettuce and the young woman behind the counter was kind enough to pull out just spinach for me :-) I really appreciated her effort! The dumplings were good as well. They come with a great little dipping sauce. The dumplings were perfectly crunchy! When you get to the end of your bowl you can choose from a variety of sauces. I chose spicy mayo and my stepdaughter chose Yum Yum sauce. I will definitely return!

Delicious poke!! Marietta Square Market has such a variety of food, and I'm so glad they have a poke place. BULLgogi has a variety of meat options both cooked (Korean meats) and raw (traditional poke fish like salmon, tuna, spicy crab, etc..). They have your regular bases as well, so white or brown rice, sushi rice, or salad. There was a variety of sides to place on top. I got spicy Mayo and ponzu to top mine off! You can't tell from my pictures but this was a large bowl, very deep and kept me full for the rest of my evening!

Pretty good! This was my first experience trying Poki and i really enjoyed it! I got a bowl with white rice, onions, corn, edamame, fried tofu, and yum yum sauce. It was very tasty! The only reason I took one star off was because the employees were a bit unfriendly.

Overall...delicious! This is my fail safe spot when I decide to come eat at the Market. From what I understand there is another location in Norcross. Service: the workers are pretty efficient and friendly. They do a good job telling you which topping choices will cost extra so you know ahead of time. Depending on who is working, some servers I've noticed are more generous with their scoops than others. Food: kinda like any poke bowl place this is a nice spot that offers a lot of topping choices. The toppings seem fresh and the ones I usually get are very delicious. I like how one of the topping choices is kimchi which I don't see often. I usually get the Raw Bowl for $11.99 and I get the two proteins of salmon and tuna. You just add what you want so every bowl is unique. The green tea lemonade is DELICIOUS! I shamelessly chugged my drink empty. I really did contemplate getting one more to go. But decided not to. The mango green tea is not as sweet so i would recommend it for those that want a refreshing drink that doesn't have that much sugar. 4/5 - depending on who is making your bowl you might get a little more toppings. It all really depend on the ingredient you pick out since it's a DIY type place.

This is my go to when I stop at the Marietta Square Market. It was truly love at first bite & I've been coming every since. I've been here about 10x & I cant stop. . I really enjoy the fried rice option with the beef bulgogi & all the side toppings you can fill your bowl with. I always add the avocado & lightly cover my bowl in bulgogi & of course YUM YUM sauce . Who would skip a sauce called yum yum! This is a great spot to dine at.

This review is for bullgogi Marietta location only. Bullgogi is located in the Marietta square market, one of the first opened shops. I don't normally like to review a restaurant just one visit, so we have been here multiple times and had very consistent good experience. There are a lot of parking on site, however, majority are limited to two hours since Marietta square(downtown Marietta) is a popular spot at night. Suntrust bank offers their parking after 5:00 pm weekdays and weekends. Paid parking and valet parking are available as well. This is a second restaurant for this brand, the first location is in Decatur. There is a restaurant in Norcross with similar name, however, I believe there is no relation with the Norcross location. How to order: you order base first(steamed rice, brown rice, salad or fried rice), then add the protein( bulgogi bowl: bulgogi beef, chicken, Korean spicy chicken, crispy tofu; poke bowl: tuna, salmon, crab or spicy tuna), then add your favorite toppings(+$1: kimchi, masago(fish eggs), avocado; free: jalapeño, green onion, onion, corn, edamame, salad mix, pickled cucumber, pickled radish, spicy radish, bean sprout and seaweed). Final touch is the sauce, they offer yum yum, spicy mayo, bullgogi, ponzu, wasabi aoli, spicy Korean sauce. We personally tried bulgogi beef, crispy tofu and spicy Korean chicken. The restaurant has been consistent with their service and quality, which is a plus. The crispy tofu is tempura coated tofu that cooks as you order. It comes out hot and crunchy. Bulgogi beef and spicy Korean chicken can be a big saucy, I suggest to request the sauce on the side. It can get very salty if you request multiple sauce on top of your food. Corn, edamame, bean sprout and radish go pretty well with any meat. The restaurant recommends wasabi aoli with crispy tofu, but all sauces are good. Restaurant offers tea or other drinks, as well as free ice water. Overall, we had great experiences with this restaurant and we will definitely come back.

Bullgogi beef no yum yum sauce they forgot to ask me what sauce and I got distracted
    LaVelle J.

I normally would put a 5 but I get home and realized they did not ask me for a sauce to put on it! I've only been 3 times and its been about a year. Its not the same without the yum yum sauce and I was caught off guard when the next thing asked was would you like a drink. So disappointed as that sauce sets it off.

I love the combo of tuna and salmon, and I tend to go with their pre-selected options because the variety of toppings here is staggering, and a bit overwhelming! They genuinely have something for everyone - my mom went with a cooked teriyaki chicken bowl, and my dad got one with chicken and shrimp. So even if your family doesn't want raw fish, they'll be happy. The folks making the bowls are kind and helpful and polite, and it's basically similar to a Chipotle, where they build the bowl in front of you. You can see all the toppings and choose what you want, or go with a pre-selected bowl. There is some parking in front of the restaurant, or you can park in the nearby garage for free for the retails space. Nobody was eating inside, but you certainly could if you wanted! Definitely a fast casual vibe in here.

Once it was ready, I was given shoyu and yum yum sauce to accompany it. When I finally had the chance to eat my bowl, I was extremely satisfied. The flavors were bold and flavorful, and everything tasted fresh. It was so good that I told my husband about it, and he grabbed one for dinner. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and look forward to trying it again. I hope you all do not change anything because it is perfectly made.

It's in the battery so you have to be aware that if you stay too long you have to pay to park. Which I think is free for the first couple hours a lot of days and then after that it's $10 an hour or something like that. This spot is interesting because they have a kind of off-putting menu item or two that you just had to try. Sushi corn dog - This was exactly what you thought it would be LOL. It is a thickly built corn dog made with sushi and deep fried. The crust on it wasn't fried like hard tempura but maybe that was just because it was made with rice so it was a little more tender than crunchy. Had a sweeter flavor to it. Personally I probably wouldn't get it again but I'm glad I tried it. Tokyo fries - the fries were just fries with yum yum sauce. They came out good and crunchy but nothing major. Sushi donut - now if you haven't tried this, it was definitely good. It was in the shape of a donut which who would have thought sushi would be a donut lol. Unlike the corn dog, it wasn't fried and it was seasoned very well and tasted good. Although it did break apart very easily though, that's my only bad part about it, but that is nothing to do with the flavor! Overall, there's a lot of things around here, but this specific spot was pretty solid.

I was pleased. I really like how they thinly slice the pork belly too, really bringing out the seared edges & fat. I always get the poke bowls too; you may 1 flat price based on how many proteins, and practically unlimited toppings. Always fresh and made in front of you. The bubble tea: they brew the teas, you just need to ask them which ones are brewed but I've always gone with either the Taichi original or Taichi green tea or the jasmine one. I like to get zero sugar and just get boba balls which are slightly sweetened. If you're Asian, that might hit the spot for you. 25-30% sweet is also available and that's not bad too. Lastly; this store has good seating options; there's a big section in front of the registers, and there's also a more private section on the other side. To date it never seems overly crowded or populated inside (surprisingly, considering the food is so good and consistent) ....so I'm usually able to eat in peace & quiet. Oh yea, they also have CUTE decor inside. There's random stuffed animals around the place. I really like this place and it's probably one of the places I actually go to "regularly" due to a very good intersection of healthy-food quality, price-value, and quantity.
