Boy were we surprised to find such an incredibly knowledgeable, sharp, and pleasant instructor! Her background in physical therapy gives her extensive knowledge of the body, and how it works... way more than the average Pilates instructor. Not only that, but she is extremely detail oriented, which makes her PERFECT for her chosen career, as Pilates is so focused on form, rather than how much weight you can pump. She is also incredibly sweet and pleasant, (yet knows how to kick your booty!), and she always greets us with a sweet smile. The studio is adorable, clean, and well-spaced... and parking is never an issue. If you're looking for a truly excellent instructor who is more than a cut above the rest, you've found her!:-). I'm at an intermediate level, and I've taken enough reformer, cadillac and tower classes to know when an instructor is guessing versus when they actually understand bodies. Christina absolutely understands bodies and people. Her studio is just as thoughtfully run as her teaching. She's added in the wonder chair and the Cadillac, and she mixes things up when you understand form and your body limits, so every session feels fresh and tailored. She'll weave in weights, stretches, and variations based on your goals, so it never feels cookie-cutter - it feels like a smart, evolving program built around you. The two ladies at the front desk were so kind. Heidi was one and Leane was the other. They explained the class schedule and different class types and gave me some brochures to take home. I was definitely sweating by the end of our time. While the class prices are a bit much for me, I did have a nice time here. The studio was very clean and welcoming. They had large cubbies to put your belongings in and they had nice Pilates gear (grip socks, pants, shirts, etc.) for sale. I can see why so many people call Club Pilates their home.
