She had a look on her face as I was bothering her. She stated I needed to sign the paper, I said is there anything further or a receipt that I will need and she said no with another sour look. Definitely not good with customer service and I get it, it's Friday afternoon but if you don't like helping people maybe she should find another job. Just go in and get whatever it is you need. I don't keep up with a lot of the different products out there (nor would I want to be taking all that stuff) so I keep it simple with protein powder and shakes. I follow their Facebook page and found that they had 40% off on a 5 lb bag of protein once so that was a nice discount. Staff is pretty helpful when you have questions. Glad to be supporting a local spot.

Knowledgable staff, helpful with determining your supplement needs…read more But I did have issues using my membership discount. The discount is applied after you spend a certain amount of money in the store. (I think it's 300 and then you get 25 off). 1. Initially had 2 accounts created in the system. They were separate. They would not combine the accounts and the monetary amounts. This wasn't an issue I caused. Both accounts were valid. Shrug, ok. 2. Eventually spent enough for the discount. However, the purchase that put me over could not be used as a discount. I was told it would discount on my next purchase. Ok.. 3. Next purchase, grabbed some items...but was told they recently changed the discount to in house products only. So I could not use the discount. Ok...to their credit they gave me a small percentage off AFTER I protested. 4. This was today, 10/16/2012, I went back against my better judgement but thought I was being too petty. I grabbed all in house products. When my account was pulled up the computer indicated I had not spent enough money for my discount. I explained that wasn't the case, I was over the amount by a lot at this point. I was told sorry, that's what the computer says. Bottom line, they lost a customer today for good. I can't expect them to take me at face value, that's unreasonable and I get that. But I would have liked an attempt at solving the issue at the very least.

Five Star Nutrition is a smaller version of GNC with equally expensive supplements that are supposed to help with working out. I don't have a clue about nutrition other than the short semester I took while in nursing school, so looking at those supplements is wasted on me. However, all three of my sons swear by the pre workout and other essentials they get. There's a small scale that analyzes your body in the front of the store. Over the years I've had Physical therapy for various issues and there has never been a more…read moreprofessional team and atmosphere than VB PT and wellness. I was determined to find a center such as this after months of shoulder pain and a subsequent rotator cuff surgery. I did not want yet another clinic where you are evaluated by a PT and then treated through PTAs and I felt like a number after the initial consultation. PTAs are very knowledgeable and work very hard but the PT must monitor them to ensure safety and proper protocols. My previous experience with same shoulder at a chain type clinic was so poor and I made little to no progress. Also, as a retired nurse with a lot of exposure to therapists in the clinical settings, I knew good therapy and fair therapy. I vowed I'd work to find the best this time. The whole experience here was amazing. The staff is so incredibly knowledgeable and personal and they truly have a team approach and everyone knows the plan of care and follows it. They are friendly, inviting and appear invested in really helping their patients at every level. I always felt listened to, respected and confident that I was in good hands. I drove 30 minutes to my appointments and will continue to again when/if I need therapy. I'd rather feel like I'm getting not only a lot out of my investment of time and money than mediocre care for convenience. The gym has many types of equipment to use and they use many helpful modalities such as TENS unit, ice, heat, traction, massage etc which is sometimes not even offered in other PT settings. I never once felt like a number or that they were rushing me or any other client in and out. The patients were progressing and they too seemed to appreciate their care. Health care professionals KNOW good care when they see it and this facility is top notch. Also, the front desk staff were always professional and responsive which is another positive for this type of business.
