I was pulled over and my car needed to be towed I called them and they told me and the police officer they will be 15 minutes after an hour the police officer called and asked him where was he and he told him that he called me and told me he couldn't make it. When I called them to ask them why they never showed up they told me that the police officer called them and canceled but when I saw the police officers body cam I heard him lying on me and he told me a lie on the police officer instead of just saying he couldn't come. This past saturday evening, my spouse and I parked our rental car in the lot of a restaurant across from our child's school for approximately 20-30 minutes while we attended an event. When we returned, we found our car had been towed by Bulldog Towing. We immediately went to retrieve the vehicle that same evening, but were told by Bulldog Towing that since it was a rental, someone from Enterprise would have to pick it up directly from them. We were also informed that the maximum total charges would be $425, including the tow fee and any labor fees. Enterprise emailed Bulldog on Monday morning authorizing them to release the vehicle. However, Enterprise did not retrieve the car from Bulldog until Monday evening. Now, Bulldog Towing is charging Enterprise $900 for the towing and storage fees for our rental car, which Enterprise is attempting to pass along to us. This seems unreasonable and excessive given we were told the maximum would be $425, and we attempted to retrieve the vehicle promptly. Not only that, but when my wife attempted to reach them, they hung up on her, and ended up blocking her number. read more

"Predatory towing" refers to tow service providers who use illegal or unethical methods to maximize their profits. He uses "satellite" towing, to remove cars illegally parked on private property. He drives around and waits for opportunities to tow And has spotters. He has the numbers of the presidents of some of the HOAs. He contacts the HOA association after the fact to assist with his efforts. He targets predominantly minority neighborhoods and businesses owned by minorities! Please stop allowing him to tow the vehicles of your consumers, families and friends! Please contact the Better Business Bureau to report and Consumer Affairs to file complaints! Reviews are not enough! He holds your Vehicle and doesn't respond to attempts to pick it up in hopes of running up a tab. There are little to no regulatory sanctions in place for towing companies and unfortunately, the owner of this company makes his profits from this. He took it upon himself to tow and lied to say that the owner contacted him. i also recommend you send an email to SLED and Sheriff Leon Lott to create a paper trial for this horrible establishment. I waited 45 minutes before trying to call back. I was immediately sent to voicemail. Left a message and tried several times to call again. So when I came out one morning and my tire was totally flat, I dreaded to have it towed. They answered my call professionally and provided me with same day service. Bulldog Towing caused over $500 DAMAGE to my truck!! Saturday (10/29) evening between 7:30-9:30 pm, Bulldog Towing pulled my vehicle from the parking lot of a restaurant that was for sale. After I found the small no-parking sign, I called Bulldog Towing several times that evening and no one answered/returned my calls. I walked 4 miles to the towing company where I found my truck still on the wrecker with the tags removed and no one available. I then called & left messages with the several other numbers from the signs on the trucks and building. As of Monday (10/31) morning, had yet to receive a call or any information regarding my vehicle. I live in North Augusta on the boarder of SC and GA so I'm are a good 1.5 hours away so I contacted the Richland Sheriffs office to see if someone could just check if someone was there before we rode out to Columbia. Both my wife and I had to take off work today to try and get my truck back. The Sheriffs Office said they'd send someone out to the premises and get Bulldog Towing to call me. At 9:55 am, I received a text from a random number stating, "U would need to come to 10891 two notch rd elgin sc 29045." I googled the number and sure enough, it's just another number that belongs to Bulldog Towing. Bulldog Towing essentially stole my vehicle and held it for ransom! The officer called soon after and let me know there was someone there & the bill will be $420... CASH!! While I understand there are consequences for a mistake, this entire situation & cost goes far beyond acceptable. If you're going to pull someone's vehicle, you have to be available for contact and return calls in a timely manner. My family was left stranded an hour and a half away from home in the rain and even though the internet says this company is open 24-hours, the door says they're available by appointment on Saturday. He kept in contact with me letting me know his ETA and was very helpful with any questions I had concerning the car and where to tow it to. Firstly, I would like to to humbly and sincerely thank Bulldog Towing!! I am not sure where the angel wings are stowed on the recovery vehicle, but they are probably alongside the halo!! I am a delivery driver for a local pizza restaurant, and while making a delivery in an unfamiliar area, I drove my car into a deep ditch while attempting to turn around after missing my customers address. The situation was extremely dangerous, as it occurred in a blind curve. I was without hope as well as money and knew that it was only a matter of time before a horrible accident would happen. I asked our Lord for help and at that moment, the Bulldog Towing Angel and Gentleman appeared!! Without hesitation the Gentleman accessed the situation, lit the darkness with an orchestra of flashing lights and hazard strobes. It was only a matter of moments, and my car had been rescued. It was truly AMAZING! The miracle did not stop there... I was without cash, credit cards or any other form of currency. I owed everything to this gentleman and I offered my drivers license along with a promise to somehow gather the money to pay for his Heaven sent help... The Gentleman looked me in the eye, shook my hand and told me that I didn't owe him anything, and told me to have a good night!!! I was humbled and grateful beyond description !!!!!!!! Kindness and the offering of helping your fellow man in times of need DO STILL Exist!!
