    I brought my vehicle to Bulldog Kia for multiple recalls, including an engine compartment fire risk and other serious safety issues because my car shut off and had a sweet smell coming from an engine fire. I had no issues with my vehicle before hand. After the initial recalls were supposedly addressed, I was informed that my engine was seized and would need a complete replacement. The battery was disconnected upon the initial engine fire before being towed in, as is protocol for anyone with vehicle knowledge. I doubt they even noticed as it was never mentioned. Once that was done, I was told all diagnostics were clear and the car was ready. However, upon attempting to drive home, less than 15 miles later, it was immediately clear that the "engine" still had issues, and additional damage had been done -- including a broken hood latch while in their care. When I returned via additional towing, they claimed I needed a new alternator and fuel system repairs as well. After the alternator was replaced even though it was less than one year old, I was told the car had been driven 20 miles to ensure it was ready. In reality this was an outright lie. I drove it less than half a mile from the Bulldog Kia dealership before the same issues recurred, leaving me stranded on Atlanta highway and putting my life at risk. Carfax shows where the engine had been previously replaced due to a major recall a few years ago, repaired at Carriage Kia, acknowledged earlier by Bulldog Kia, yet they acted as if they had no knowledge of this after the fact, claiming the vehicle had over 200,000 miles, it's year model etc as to why all of these problems occurred as an excuse for their ill management or service. I provided paperwork as proof but was given no acknowledgement. I barely made it back to the dealership after horrific attempts, Thank God my children weren't in the car. My service advisor, Ben Howell, showed no concern for my safety, no empathy, frequently failed to return calls during this process, and even changed his story multiple times about how far the car had been driven today. First quoted "20 miles" then "15-20 miles" then "at least 10 miles"-- despite admitting he never personally drove it and when asked for the name and phone number of the technician who supposedly drove my car, he provided no information. Ben Howell also later, after prolonging my deep concern, refused to personally test drive my vehicle on the highway to see for himself what the issue felt like while driving to help with the diagnosis. He claimed his "shift was over". A mother and female was assured their vehicle is safe but a young man would not test drive it himself. To make matters worse, Bulldog Kia provided no rental vehicle for my entire shop time (2 weeks) , no towing reimbursement fees (3 and now soon to be 4) , and offered no accountability for the repeated safety hazards and poor service. I was charged additional fees throughout this process and left to deal with ongoing issues they claimed were resolved. I Strongly advise against purchasing or servicing your vehicle at Bulldog Kia. The risk of lives, family's, children is tremendous! They have no fear of lawsuits as according to Ben Howell "Bulldog Kia deals with these all the time". Another customer was in the service area as well asking "what did they messed up on my car too?" They put his vehicle in the old Georgia square mall parking lot due to lack of space on site. A very unsuited and dangerous area for an unguarded vehicle. Please, be wary of Bulldog Kia!

    if I could give less, I would. They were not honest. sold us a car that they knew had a major recall. Cost us lots of money!!!

    Extremely disappointed with my service experience…read more During a prior visit, I clearly asked to be contacted by my Service Advisor before any work was done, due to a pre scheduled vacation, yet repairs were completed without my knowledge . I let it go at the time, hoping it was an isolated issue of poor internal communication. I recently returned for a routine oil change, being I had previously purchased a 3 year maintenance plan. Within days my vehicle developed new issues that made it unsafe to drive. Despite receiving a "green check" on my vehicle's condition, I was later given verbal repair recommendations (not related to the current issue)only after I reached out to the Service Manager about current conditions. no written documentation was provided. Which I know to be a standard practice. At this point, I'm left questioning the level of service I received and whether it was influenced by the age of my vehicle, where it was purchased, or potential bias based on race. I expected professionalism, transparency, and communication, but unfortunately that was not my experience.

On the day of my appointment, there was a small hiccup and my appointment didn't initially show up in their system. That said, the staff handled it with grace and took great care of me anyway. They completed my road trip package oil change and even applied a military discount, which I truly appreciated. I didn't wait at the dealership, and about three hours later I received a call letting me know my vehicle was ready. Customer service was pleasant, efficient, and stress-free, which is exactly what you hope for when you're mid-road trip. While I didn't receive the photo point inspection I've experienced at some other Subaru dealerships, I was still very satisfied with the service overall. Payment was easy, and they accept credit cards. Thank you, Hughes Subaru, for making an unexpected stop along my journey a smooth and positive experience.

I hung up on him and called Hughes Subaru in Athens. Cole was very respectful, he did not have the Parts I was looking for however, he did refer me to Troncalli in Cumming. He stated he pulled up their inventory and they had what i was looking for in stock. Thank you Cole and thank you Hughes Subaru!!!
