From my very first conversation with Rubi to the pickup day, she demonstrated a genuine understanding of the customer experience and consistently exceeded expectations. Her communication was exactly as promised timely, clear, and thorough. She worked diligently with the warranty company, maintained full transparency about the job process, and everything she said would be done was completed without exception. Rubi truly knows the work, the labor involved, and the parts required. She also showed real empathy regarding the cost of the repair because no one anticipates a high service bill. That understanding went a long way. Nicholas added tremendous value with his walk-through video, helping customers like me see that dealerships aren't just "making up" service numbers. His detailed discovery skills uncovered the full scope of the issue, not just the surface problem. This level of clarity builds trust and confidence in the service team. I also appreciated that there were no last-minute surprises the work was completed as promised, with no unexpected fees. While this repair was certainly a financial hit, the team at Athens BMW made the experience as smooth and positive as possible. Their professionalism, transparency, and genuine care have made me a service partner for as long as I own my vehicle. Money comes and goes, but the way people treat you makes all the difference.     Extremely disappointed with my service experience…read more During a prior visit, I clearly asked to be contacted by my Service Advisor before any work was done, due to a pre scheduled vacation, yet repairs were completed without my knowledge . I let it go at the time, hoping it was an isolated issue of poor internal communication. I recently returned for a routine oil change, being I had previously purchased a 3 year maintenance plan. Within days my vehicle developed new issues that made it unsafe to drive. Despite receiving a "green check" on my vehicle's condition, I was later given verbal repair recommendations (not related to the current issue)only after I reached out to the Service Manager about current conditions. no written documentation was provided. Which I know to be a standard practice. At this point, I'm left questioning the level of service I received and whether it was influenced by the age of my vehicle, where it was purchased, or potential bias based on race. I expected professionalism, transparency, and communication, but unfortunately that was not my experience.

This includes Matt in Parts, Beau in Service, and one of the owners that I chatted with today, Mr. Hammond. I wanted to purchase a tow hitch for my new 2024 Telly and the dealership where I purchased was less than accommodating after the sales to the point I started shopping around for a dealership that would become my go-to for service. Some dealerships even told me it was not even available although I shared a letter from KIA US that outlined the details around tow hitches for 23/24 Tellurides. I found Bulldog Kia fit the bill with my first interaction with Matt, the Parts Manager. Matt is incredibly personable and engaging to the point he may be Bulldog's best salesperson. Beau in service was helpful and answered my all my questions prior to me even ordering the hitch from Matt. Once the tow hitch came in (and much faster than I expected) Christina called to schedule the install appointment. I arrived at my scheduled day and time and was quickly checked in and within a couple of hours, my Telluride had its hitch professional installed at a fair price. As I was waiting around, I had one gentleman ask me if I needed assistance because I was lurking in the check-in area watching the work on my hitch, I said no and we struck up a conversation only to find out it was James Hammond one of the owners working and interacting with customers. Having a local engaged owner who interacts with customers is impressive in this day and age so I applaud this owner and the entire Bulldog team in Athens. Now, my only thought is how do I turn back time so I could have purchased the Telluride from them in the first place? PS: I gotta give an extra shoutout to Matt for the nice surprise he left in my car when the work was done, you will see me wearing the KIA hat that he left in the Telly. Thx again Matt!

My 84‑year‑old widowed mother went in for what she believed was a routine oil change--only because they mailed her a coupon claiming it was "time" for service. Her last oil change was done six months prior, and she had only driven 1,100 miles since then. Once she arrived, they told her she "needed" new spark plugs and quoted her $150. Instead, they charged her $600, including an astonishing $450 in labor for spark plugs on a 2013 Kia with only 85,000 miles. Folks, that's a 30-60 minute job you can do at home! She bought and serviced her vehicle with them for years, and this is how they treated her the moment she walked in alone. What should have been a simple visit turned into a $780 bill for an oil change and spark plugs, neither of which she needed. They should have turned her around and told her to come back in six months. This kind of behavior toward an elderly, loyal customer is deeply concerning and feels predatory. Please be cautious before agreeing to any service here. Get everything in writing and double‑check the pricing.
